Love this group. ELO had their biggest hits in the 70's-80's & mixed modern rock pop songs with classical overtones. Jeff Lynne wrote most of their songs. "Don't Bring Me Down" & "Mr. Blue Sky" are my favorites by them. You've done a few of their songs already. Other hits are "Roll Over Beethoven", "Showdown", "Can't Get It Out Of My Head", "Strange Magic", "Livin' Thing", "Do Ya", "Rockaria!", "Turn To Stone", "Wild West Hero", "Shine A Little Love", "Confusion", "Hold On Tight", "Twilight", "The Way Life's Meant To Be", "Here Is The News", "Ticket To The Moon" etc.
STAN, My favorite Reactor: ELO has some of the most recognizable songs on radio. I recall events in my life when I hear songs from my past. And Electric Light Orchestra always stirs my memories. I cannot think of one bad or even one so-so song of theirs. ELO is a Supergroup, and is deserved of their status and recognition.
Stan, I’m so glad you feel the same way about ELO. Been a fan for soooo long. Please react to “Last train to London”. My personal favorite. Keep up the great work.🎶🎶💕💕🦋
I'm a fan of ELO and Jeff Lynne since decades really (feeling old right now). I really think there are hundreds of them worldwide , maybe even thousands 😁. So welcome onboard!😉 I just listened to When Time Stood Still from TIME (remaster). Don't miss those "hidden" tracks that were never released as singles and sometimes not even on the original albums. A lot of my favourite ELO tunes are album and sometimes even bonus tracks: Eldorado plus Eldorado Finale, Waterfall, Shangri-La to name three of them. Cheers from Germany.
His solo album ARMCHAIR THEATER is awesom. Big fan here. Guten tag Duitsland, Holland says hallo, little bit German here, meine grossmutter ist from Wupperthal. 😁❤👍
@@CharCanuck14 hallo lieve schat, is alles goed met je? Long time no talk, hope you're ok. Every thing ok here. Never saw ELO live, so you're lucky. Wish i had, been listening for about 50 years to their music. JEFF'S VOICE IS AWESOM. Take care and ❤👍😁👊from Holland
🙂 Some say that this song is the most famous ELO's song at their time. I think All Over the World could be the other. Another classic. Also Livin' Thing and Last Train to London. Please continue reacting to ELO and you will have always fun and surprises. Best regards from Chile! 🙂
Could you believe this song was in the same album (Discovery - 1979) as Last Train to London, and other classics as Shine A Little Love and Confusion? It was a have to have that album in the early 80's.
Very funky track from their 1979 album “ Discovery”, which is a fantastic album with not a dud track on there. “The diary of Horace Wimp” is a big favourite. You need to listen to the whole album.
You know what kind of song's I'm getting tired of hearing? Love song's because true love is a load of bs it doesn't exist. And there's not someone for everyone.

If you like ELO, I'd recommend the Traveling Wilburys, too. I would start with "End of the Line".
