Can you please make video on Gupta feudatories? Like Maitraks in Gujarat? Were Maitraks also feudatories under western khshatrap and later accepted overloardship of Guptas?
Dear Jay Vardhan Vai, I am a early subscriber of your chanel. Recently I have seen your interview on dostcast. I think people are more interested in mythical history than facts, on UA-cam. No one will appreciate your knowledge. As a well-wisher of yours, make videos in Hindi and create attractive thumbnails. A Bengali history lover from West Bengal.
Is there a confusion between the dating of dynasties? I read Vedveer Arya's work he says Puranic dating is centuries before the accepted present date due to confusion in saka eras and jain eras. Are you aware of such a thing?

Another great video thank you, if it's possible can you share your knowledge regarding the armor if any used by Indian kingdoms (Maurya dynasty till pre Islamic period). Because most of the times when warrior are depicted from Indian kingdoms they are bare bodied with some small fancy metal coverings which I don't think would be of any effective use. The only time I have seen armor on Indian warriors is after the islamic invasion where Indian armor are very similar to that used by invaders, is this true or are we missing something
You can't expect bollywood to be historically accurate. Plus these soldiers were definitely not fools. Even those who don't have armours would've wore clothings of some kind instead of leaving their bodies bare.
@@rishavkumar1250 They might've introduced a more advanced kind of armour, but it doesn't make sense to assume that no one in the Indian subcontinent thought about having some kind of armour in the 1500 years of history preceding the Kushans. What do you think about it?
The Sulikas, Why every millitary and political 'power' in the North West region of the sub continent has to be of Central Asian origin? Why is there no possibility of Sulicas being an Indian confederation or Gana based in the North West who had thrown off the Huna yoke?
It seems somewhat unlikely. We know that Samudragupta had executed most of the rulers in the Gangetic planes to secure his base of power. It's highly unlikely for him to not have done the same towards a living descendant of the Mauryans as well.
Yes, it is the name of Lord Shiva. The argument that Shulapani is related to Shulikas could mean that these Shulikas portrayed Lord Shiva in their banners. As we know that the Huns were devotee of Lord Shiva, so it could be that these Shulikas were also worshippers of Lord Shiva.

Why can't be Maukharies be the feduatary of Aulikaras initially? ..I mean it kinda makes sense
Because the period of the rise of Maukharis and Aulikaras is roughly the same. Also, before Ishavaravarman there were Maukhari rulers.
