This is great. Whenever I vertically centred text I'd always have to nudge it up a bit to account for that bit of space at the top. Wonder why ascent is the default and not this.
This has always done my head in, I've been re-reading Müller-Brockmanns Grid Systems and really wanted his perfect alignment with picture frames. Is there any reason why this isn't default with InDesign?
This is great thanks. How do you then align to your baseline and the modular grid? Aligning the text frame to the Acesnder bring the baseline of the tyext of the braseline grid.
is there a way to add this to all paragraph styles in CC libraries so one doesn't have to remember to do this with every document they open and so paragraph styles don't override it if paragraph style from CC library is applied?

Hi Eric… I wouldn't generally align headlines to the baseline
Magnificent!
Neat! Thank you!
thx man
Hello! How do you do this in multiple text frames placed in different pages of the document?
Select the text frames with the arrow tool (or select all) and perform the same procedure.

Good question Michelle, if you find out the answer let me know
