I never thought about that. Trugg would have his own coven of troll hags. It makes sense.
He is only called king because a rabblerowza said so to try and not get squished. He is just a very large dankhold with a magic mcguffin.

It is worth noting that if you use Trugg's army, your trolls will lose their "fight n' heal" from the Megamob. However, that also means if you use Trugg in a regular gitz Megamob army, he's going to be healing D3+3 wounds every time he fights.

As a thought experiment I decided to roll 4 dice to see what I would get with my Trugg... immediatly rolled four 1s... I start as I mean to go on...
Not to be confused with throgg from old world. I love the model for this guy. I will definitely be building my own trogg heard with him at it's head.

I think he isn't very kingly because Trugg isn't a king, but Braggit only hypes him up to be the troggoth king. That's my headcannon. XD

Oh I'm getting Trugg. I brought my troggoths to a tournament this year, and I'm VERY tempted to bring them again for next year. We'll see what Brodd's army looks like.

Hopefully it just adds some flavor and options for Gitz and Troggs. Little troggs only count on 1 for objectives, everyone moves 6inches and no casters (ally depending?) are real weaknesses though.
I have pet pigs so the biggy piggy is what has me hyped. Probably going to finally make Big Waaagh as well.

Hi Rob, Trugg is slow but if you can take the Rabble-Rowza in the army of renown, he can advance and charge!
Also don’t forget when a Dankhold Troggboss issues all out Attack to a trogg unit you get +1 to hit and +1 attack, this in conjunction to Truggs leystone could be giving 4 attacks each to a Rockgut unit, or even boost those sweet Antlers on trogg to potentially 4 attacks
Gloomspite cannot take that regiment of renown.

The single hero Rabble-Rowza (not the Regiment) can be added into a GSG army
@@TakaEvil22 Trugg's troggherd you can only take units with the Gloomspite and Troggoth keyword, so cannot take rabble-rowza that way either. So you would have to take it in a regular gitz-megamob list.
Without the rable-rowza's regiment of renown it is pretty weak too as the ability to deploy outside of the regular deployment is linked to the regiment. Without the regiment it is limited being sent up the field with hand of gork, which is a spell so not reliable at all to build around. The run and charge ability only works if the monster is running towards the rabble-rowza, which is why it needs to be deployed well ahead of the rest of the army to even be useful.

downbringer books remind me what GW have done with WH40k at the end of 8th edition,released loot of books with new fancy rules and afther less than 5 month all the books and new fancy units/rules were dumped in the garbage because are no more legal for 9th edition....and Dawnbringer give me the same scam vibes

Not convinced by the army of renown. The only thing that could take enhancements, as it stands, will be a Troggboss which really hampers your army. And taking only Troggs leaves you locked out of any spell casters at all and buff pieces like Snufflers and Gobbapalooza. You can get some nullstone stuff from the GHB but again, only a Trogboss can take it. Think I will be just taking Trugg in the regular troggoth sub-faction as it stands.

As a huge fan of trolls (troggoth) I was very disappointed with this model. The head sculpt of the dankholds are just too silly. They had a good design going with Mollog -minus the mutations- and just made them too silly. Just my opinion but this was a very big disappointment in terms of design for this troll fan.
Fingers crossed for a mirebrute hag or something for my Kruleboyz. The Kruleboyz troggs are just leagues above in terms of design for me.
