Do you think it would be possible to make a "full magic one" that doesnt need an ink pot? As in, putting an ink cartouche inside of the quill feather? (or just fitting a whole hecking writing plume and a feather together?
If i ever get such a huge feather like that one, im absolutely trying it lol
Thank you!😊 Yes, I was thinking about putting the ink cartridge of a pen inside of the feather but decided to use the nibs instead so they could look more like the original quills. I’d like to make more quill feathers and next time I would definitely make them more practical.😄

Yes. I used DAS Modelling Clay. Other brands tend to crack when drying.
