I wish you had patterns for everything or at least the feathers. Also dimensions so I knew how big to make it I could possibly have taken pictures and blown them up to get sizes and a pattern, but that's a lot of work. Thanks for any help
yes same here. I am a total beginner and won't start this because it's too overwhelming for me. If there where printable patterns and dimensions I would try it.

Could you please tell me if the feathers are made of paper or clay. If paper how does the feathery pattern or texture. If clay is it heavy on the cardboard on both sides?
Thank you!😊 I used foam sheets to make the feathers which are lightweight and easy to add texture. For the body, I used clay. I recommend DAS Modeling clay, as it's less prone to cracking compared to other brands.

Thanks!😊 It’s an air-dry clay (DAS) The reason I use this clay is because it doesn’t crack when it dries. I haven’t use ordinary clay but I know some of them crack if the layer of clay is too thin.

Hi, love your hedwig, quick question, you had to adjust the head? What changed did you have to cut and tilt and reglue? Or just delete some of the neck area? Thanks so much im trying to replicate! Love your creation its awesome! Subbd ❤️😍
Yes, I did adjust the head. I cut it and cut a wedge at the back of the neck area to tilt the head upwards. Then, I re-glued it and re-applied the clay.

What’s the material called that you used for the feathers?
The material I used is Eva foam sheets.
What Material did you use for the wings ?
I used cardboard and covered it with feathers made of foam (EVA foam sheets).

Maybe you could make your own paper mache clay. You can find several recipes on the internet.
