I swear Japan has some of the most beautiful landscape in the world... all the mountains and sea-side- there is just so much beauty... I have to visit Japan some day, and not just one place, a tonne of different places.
This actually made me cry, because with everything happening in this world this is a place of peace even after all the tragedy that happened in Japan years ago, they turned it around. Thank you John for sharing this.
I felt the same way -- after all the stuff happening, those videos and images that have disturbed everyone with much loss of life. So sad. Felt good to me to post a fun and loving episode with a lot of life! Millions of flowers!! We need to stay positive despite it all. Hope it can bring some smiles to some faces today. Thank you for writing. -John
+Only in Japan How beautiful. Thank you for bringing just a bit of happiness into this sad, scary time in our society. Just when you think it's hard to smile, you make it easier with the simplest of gestures. A sincere and true thanks to you.
It amaze me that with the amount of production this channel has, it only has 292.121 subscribers. It is really a fantastic channel, I wish more people knowed about it.
There was once a tulip park in China, and everyone just stepped on them to take photos. So it's very amazing that all japanese tourists just stand on the trail.
@@lindafukuyu5767 what? not only in China, in America, in California we have poppy fields and lots of people were stepping in them, or trying to take photos in the flowers by laying on them, it wasn't great either. We should all not step in flower fields.
My family and I have been watching your show for a couple of years. Content and overall quality is excellent. Finally went to Japan last year and visited a number of spots you recommended. When we returned from our trip you posted the Most Surreal National Park. Amazing! Told my husband that I need go there. Well, we just returned from our 2nd trip to Japan and went to Hitachi Seaside Park for my birthday. Incredible beauty. Thank you so much for your videos. Please continue the excellent job and we look forward to visiting more places you post!! Aloha.
Hi John, I just wanted to say that this channel is amazing. My wife and I have travelled to Japan several times and we have taken a lot of inspiration from your channel on where to visit, and have also reminisced watching your videos about places we have been. Your videos are very well put together, they are concise, humorous and most importantly, very informative. I hope you continue to make videos for many years to come and I can't wait to see you reveal more of Japan's lesser known attractions. Greetings from New Zealand.
Wow, John. How magnificent this is. Are those lone, rogue tulips growing within the Nemophilia at 1:33? Two aspects of Japanese culture that your videos showcase are the Japanese people's love of nature, and the pride they take in their jobs. I love how they respect nature, evident with the cherry blossoms and now these flowers. Also, the pride that these workers feel is evident. This employee was so pleased to discuss the beautiful park with you, and his descriptive words really tell the tale. It truly is something to behold.
Leopold That's a centuries old fire preventative practice; they remove fallen branches, etc., but leave the many different species of native undergrowth plants alone. See Botany Boy's videos on Japan's forests.
I have to say thank you so much for your show. Every day I watch it I get more and more inspired to pursue my dream to teach English over there. I truly love it, even though I've never been. Please keep up the amazing work.
i hope the ministry of tourism in japan is paying you for all these awesome videos XD the Tulip field looks amaaaazing! and it's nice that the park management took into consideration a type of flower that actually naturally wanted to live there instead of forcing something to live in not-so-ideal conditions for the sake of attracting tourists.
amazing how the japanese public respect the park theres probably only a handful of other countries that would respect the boundaries of the park the rest would probably allow their kids to trample all over the flowers and the park would be forced to place barriers
Shin - What are you talking about? People just respect the place and kids do as well by example, - the true freedom society, is when you don't do something because you know it's wrong, not because you are being told not to.
Ye. I see this all the time everywhere I go. I remember going to this cherry blossom viewing in Sydney once, and all the people are pulling on the flowers to take selfies. Just in general no respect to the trees :(
It definitely helps when our religion teaches us to respect and appreciate the beauty of nature. From trees to the ocean there are Gods that represent them, and by disrespecting the nature we are essentially disrespecting the Gods of said nature. I'm sure that's not a rare philosophy, but with Japan being a homogenous nation it's easier to enforce and teach these philosophies to younger generations. Sorry for my lackluster english, I am a college student
Right! I thought that there were so many bonuses this this place that it really is a complete experience! From the glass cafe to the wide open spaces and bicycle paths ... it's the perfect day. -john
Thank you for this beautiful episode I love flowers *.* when the music was playing I just transport my self there thank you again John xoxox from Mexico.
Awww! Thank you Sonia! I felt like I was in a different world when I film there and again today when editing. Always so great to hear from you. Love from Tokyo! -John
This place is incredibly beautiful! It's truly a place of unbound serenity. Looking at the field all the way to the plateau with the endless sky's horizon creates such a sense of tranquillity. At mere glance, one can feel as though this place is detached from the world itself, free of all things gloomy. It's a practical paradise to the eye! This is a remarkable video.
I was really surprised about the history when I dug into it. I went for the flowers and ended up with a much richer experience! Thanks for watching! -john
Thanks! This was a really soothing place so I had to do my best to try to match that feeling. Have to make the best show I can to do this place justice. It deserves my best effort and I'm so happy people watched the video. -john
Scott Reeves this is one of my favorites esp when editing. Not a long story but def one that I took to heart - ex bombing range turned stunning national park that looks like a fantasy world!
Your videos are the best videos about Japan! I like your work so much, thank you for this quality! I'm not good about listening english (this is not my first language) but you speak so clearly that I understand everything you say.
Thanks for the comforting unqiue vidoe & i really was happy watching the video , also thanks for choosing J.s.Bach Prelude for this epic flowers , Bach + Nature = Magic World ...Best of lucks & Keep on the great work ^_____^
These videos are amazing. It makes me sad for America. We think we are the best and videos like this make me realize we are below average. Thank you for opening my eyes to other places in the world. I've got to do more traveling. I have only been outside the USA once.
Great episode as always, John! You said it best in the video: It is an amazing place as is but considering what was there before it gets even more special!
Absolutely love your videos John, absolutely incredible production quality, feels like I'm watching a TV show! I especially like your voice, much love from the UK :)
Like others have said. I too appreciate your great work and dedication to these videos. Informing us viewers while at the same time entertaining us. Keep up the amazing work!! Thank you so much from Texas!!!
I'm Japanese. I must say thank you for making those videos about Japan. You videos really remind me of how beautiful my country is. I want to go visit my country again soon.
I wish I could keep that schedule! If this was a VLOG, I could do one everyday, but it requires a lot of travel. In Japan, I also have to make a lot of appointments and meetings. If I can get 1M subscribers, I'm sure if have the budget to then make more!! So the best thing we can do is SHARE these episodes and help get to that summit! I'll have the access to go everywhere, do anything, see places even unknown to Japanese. That's where I'd like to take it. Thank you for supporting the show, as few episodes as we have here. -John
Would love to go there every season to see the different flowers bloom. Its so beautiful. I bet its so relaxing to feel the breeze on the hill looking all the beautiful flowers. Would love to take my family one day. Its truly a amazing sight.

Thanks for this video! That part where the ocean meets the land is really memorable. Say, can you come back at October to see the red blooms that time?
When I was younger, I would never pay much attention to the nature and landscape around me. However, this past year something seemed to change in me, and I began to pay attention to everything, the different shades of green on the trees during the summer, the contrast of all the warm colors on the trees on the Autumn, I actually stumbled upon a sort of.. ombré tree whole riding the bus home from school. I had never seen anything like it before, and knew I had to take a picture. I’ve begun to pay more attention to wildflowers growing alongside the road, and to the colors of the sky, and ripples and colors of the bodies of water in my area. It’s amazing, the impact that nature can have on a person. It sounds.. weird, I know. But I actually shed a few tears while watching this video, lol. Those flowers are so beautiful, and the sheer amount of them, the way they cover the hills is simply breathtaking!
all your videos make me happy ...the most you are doing nice job with videos so much information usually I don't watch videos more than 10min. but your I watch them easily keep the nice work

Unbelievable extraordinary beauty it's just stunning

how long did the tulip park last?
