Great video. The idea of putting less material in the frame where the motor screws are is such a good idea. Plus shorter screw.
I love the idea of adding some glue to the motor wires. Great tip.

'The gift of flight', well said. I fly my 5.5" Chris Rosser EVO frame, so a little ways from TinyWhoops. But halleluja, flyin is fantastic no matter what class 1 ride. As long as U ride HDZero ;)

Great video! Great hardware review, great interview. Really enjoyed it! One question - how do you trim those screws, making sure not to break them or something? With pliers, knife, scalpel..?

Is it actually 12A this time? or NBD once again using the exact same FETs (EEx marking -> SIA517 mosfet) that every other tinywhoop board has and those are all specced as 5A

Got mine down to 15.3g with reny screws on motors, 0.18 gram canopy, lighter grommets(half the weight), I used extremely short and small diamter head m1.4 motor screws that it came with on the canopy instead, though I plan to go reny when I get my next batch in mail. Micro USB is going to be swapped with plastic connector, remove camera connector, swap lighter camera on, replace camera wires with enamel wire, clip frames battery tray as seen in video(thanks for idea!), and HQ light props. I actually added some e6000 right where the magnet coil phase wires exit the motor, the otherside should be fairly easy to fix if they do break off.

I noticed my liteaf frame was different than the one i bought. The black frame was stiff and the white frames are flexible. Even with the air65 frames, the white ones are way more loosey goosey

I thought props-in was standard for ducted Tiny Whoops? Should I switch all my ducted whoops to props-out? My 2" toothpick is props-out.

    Nice video!
But I don't understan why this FC promoted like it has 12a fets if it uses regular sia517(3 for each motor)?

I broke the frame quick. IMO not for beginners. But get it still just switch to a more heavy durable frame. Then switch back to it cause it is lite AF. 😍

I just had to ship mine back to NBD to have the crystal oscillator replaced. ELRS was sketchy on mine. In general, I'm a little disappionted in NBD on the design decisions. They should have made a bigger leap on this FC and given it actual motor pads and NOT forked Betaflight. I would have liked to have a PCB on the motors as well. The canopy was kind of a weak attempted at a copy and they already had to revise it due to the concern about bumping the VTX. The new canopy sits at around 40 degress on its lowest setting and it honeslty felt weird trying to take it any higher (not that I need it any higher). I'm also finding the battery tray on the LiteAF frame to be LooseAF.
I haven't purchased a NBD craft in 3 years and I very quickly remembered why.
