My Maternal Uncle was a master in repairing of these things. I also learnt from him. Its almost 60 years back and I too have a Philips Record Player and Gerard Changer since 1965 and listen songs .

These are cheap Chinese made players, good for beginners or someone who just wants to experience playing records.
I remember the days proper British made solid Garrard turntables and record changers.
You could stack 7-9 records and they would automatically fall and start to play. The arm would automatically know whether it's a 45 rpm or 33 or 78 or even the rare 16 rpm.
Pure mechanical players with levers and pulleys.
Even in India till the mid to late 80,s you had Phillips and HMV making good portable record players with speakers which acted as the top cover itself.
LP,s sell a lot in USA UK and Europe. It's wrong to think that they have died out. Ofcourse in India they're definitely history.

You must set RPM before playing the records.here you set the r p m while playing. That will ruin the records and stylus as well.

When playing ep i.e. small records in 45 rpm playing is stopped a bit earlier. Ten to fifteen seconds playing remain unplayable. A 45 rpm adapter is there but there is no information how to use it

Have you tried switching off the Auto Stop feature for 45 rpm records. If you do that they play till end.

सर जी मेरे पास एक crown spc7000F रिकॉर्ड प्लेयर रेडियो और टेप रिकार्ड है जो की ब्रीफ़केस के आकार का है उसमें रिकार्ड प्लेयर की सुई नही है रेडियो भी खराब है और टेप रिकॉर्ड भी चेक करना है उसे देहरादून में कहा ठीक कराये ओर वह देहरादून के अलावा कहा ठीक होगा

Sir this is not a gramophone player, it's a really cheap quality record player that ruins records because of no stylus weight control and also because of the poor stylus

No Sir with time it will happen. Put these records in some envelop and clean it before use with soft clothes.
@@SushantSuyashThank you for your answer ,but sir, I was asking about one or two major scratch on records & such type of scratces were shown repaired by foreign U tuber where glue like subtances used to fill the record groves which creating big scratching sound .I was not asking about smaller scratches. Anyway sound from smaller scratches can also be deleted from records sound of amplifier by using special PF capacitor before preamplifier section which I saw in Science today magazine.

Many have spoken about the player and the cartridge so I won't. But my goodness! That's one dirty record! Why would anyone not clean it before playing?! Beats me! My magnetic cart would skip all the way digging through the dirt! Luckily ceramic cartridges play everthing in the world.
