At a 6k offering price that display has to be updated to latest Bluetooth standards with Apple GymKit. Sorry Peloton just introducing an old product that was recalled from several years ago does not justify a 2k increase. You got to put some engineering effort to make the Tread+ better than a Woodway.
Apple GymKit support requires a NFC chip to be included in the tablet - which FCC documents have shown is in place in both the Tread & Tread+. In fact, one developer was able to access a GymKit debug screen on the Tread+, demonstrating it is theoretically possible for the Apple Watch to be supported.
When will they come back out with Tread plus? Wondering if I should just wait or get the regular Tread.
How would we go about that maintenance of the belt on the tread? And what exactly is it we have to do? I want to know before I purchase. Thanks
If it's like all other treadmill belts than all you would have to do is oil it after 30 hours or so of use along with adjusting the belt tension if it's not automatic. Both very easy things to do. Hope this helps.
Any updates or whispers of the tread+ coming back out
I just got the tread today and was pretty disappointed. It’s a lot smaller. I would suggest waiting for the plus.
I think later 2022 Nov from what I get from the sales rep and info I seen… anyone know where I can buy a new one … it’s to bad people don’t watch there kids and animals
