Firstly great reviews. I will be looking for a used van in the near future and your videos have helped immensely and the outside shower taps work in opposite direction because they have ceramic disc washers and it’s for appearance only when you have lever style taps in your home.
Thanks for another vid guys. As an owner of A SCC Scout x the smallest in the hybrid range it's ok for what it is. However I,m not sure if I would buy another Chinese hybrid. They are to heavy for what they are in my opinion. QC was also lacking. They suit a market for price, however their is certainly other better alternatives.
Back In, Plug In and Beers In is the ultimate goal hence why we have gone from a Camper Trailer to Pop-Top to a full sized van all in just around 2 years.
😂ha i used to work next to the factory that imported these from china in Perth WA. 😂 they drag em out ov the c container ready done but did they have some warranty issues 😂😂 a constant flow ov vans 😂😂 to get fixed
Hi nice to meet you at Kylies Beach camp site the other day. I agree time to buy your own and enjoy it, maybe you could interview other people and their vans to keep the content coming
Hi guys, listening to your video I wasn’t shore what was going on especially when you got to the shower for two I then realised you were definitely taking the piss. You actually reminded me of my army days in the paras. Actually you may be his son?😂😂 I’m not sure what the manufactures will think but I was in stitches listening to you 😂😂😂 your wife is charming I think she is part of the duo. Getting back to that huge shower for two people I would make sure you know the other person very well😅great video I can’t wait for the next one . Hope you both had a great Christmas and a happy new year. Jon ps I don’t think the toilet would fit under the sink😂🤣🤣
Thanks for your observations! We try to keep it real and to a degree, entertaining. Great to hear you enjoyed yourself watching! The stuff we cut out is funny but would definitely get us in hot water. The good thing about our reviews is that we pay to hire them so we just say what we find. Happy new year to you!
I have a smaller hybrid than this one, and so it does not have the sink/cooktop internally as your one has. For me, I have one drawer inside as a 'backup kitchen' with an induction cooktop and one set of utensils, crockery, teabags - that kinda thing. If I dont need them they're out of mind. The point you make about needing double of this or that is true for many. In my view you must decide that you are going to cook outside. Then you're not 'just in case-ing' 2 sets of everything.
Well I guess small soft baskets can be put on top of the shelving when not travelling and then on the bed for pack up. It would give a lot more storage without much fuss. This would be no for me as I need a washing machine(🙄)but if a couple wants it for shorter trips then it’s excellent. Inside bathroom is ✔️
The pull out bed versions are much better, allowing for more storage IMHO. A 13ft hybrid is way too small, and the 15ft is pretty good. Add the rear fold out bed, and you have basically a 17-18ft van. I wouldn't buy new as there isn't one van that has what I would want as far as battery capacity, or upgrades, 240V functionality ( A/C off an inverter ). Hurry up and buy a van you 2......lol.....
Well for the price of the Zone you could buy the Silverline and the Patriot Camper and possibly the 2nd tow vehicle. Not to complicate your decision more by renting an offroad campervan 😁
Hi, please can you tell me what brand and size tyres, and wheel offset you’re running as they look great on your LC200. Cheers. And Keep up the great content 👍
nice review. It perplexes me that van manufacturers are not more space, weight and function orientated. Storage for clothes - almost none. But you have 6 burners and 3 sinks? No microwave. Awnings need to be far more durable overall particuarly in a hybrid. If the purpose is outdoor living with cooking outside then it needs to have decent shelter.
I can't agree more. Time for some further and more considered thought around design purpose. Everyone wants to just keep adding stuff without covering off the practicalities. Thanks for your comments, much appreciated!
The bed size is a bid problem to me. Why the hell do they all insist on fitting a king bed. A Queen is big enough and it would be easier to make. God knows how your meant to make up the king.
they nearly as heavy as a real caravan, they nearly as expensive--- your saving a few grand but have to set up and pack up--- its mind blowing anyone buys these unless they were about 35k
great honest, keep this work up, great idea hire them review them and be honest.. many many thanks!

Certainly heavy! QC on this one was reasonably good. Yes, it’s really all about price, weight and space in the hybrid sector.
Tare weight is inversely proportional to your wallet weight.

If you are coming from camper this thing is fabo, if you are dropping back from a van then not so.

@@slinca Sounds like good plan! Thanks for sharing.
The bunk option does not have combined shower toilet. It is still seperate

Well that's an excellent concept! You are too clever! Merry Xmas.
🎅🏼🎄
We chose the Signature Marlu Tourer. Much better layout regarding the internal storage and outdoor pantry.
Good choice.

Was that rust on the suspension swing arm?
Red dirt!
Hi, the internal fridge is not included it's a wardrobe. I believe it's an added extra. This is the first time I've seen one in this hybrid
Interesting, I haven’t seen a hybrid without an external pullout fridge?
The comment was about an internal fridge, not external
You both pronounce it
“High Bred” 🤣 👑
Excellent aren’t we! We’ll have to brush up! I might start calling it by its Latin origin “Hybrida!”

Excellent idea. I’ll let Tracey know your great idea….. see if it works for me!
@@caravansbythecampfire The patriot can become the “doghouse” for when you’re in trouble 😄

Maxxis Razor MT LT305/70/17. Wheels ROH 17x8 Off Road Invader Black. P25 offset.
Awesome thanks

I think the fishing rod holders attached to the bull bar are not legal in NSW any more due to "spearing" of pedestrians not being allowed now
Probably correct, amazing how some states are fine and others not.
You have a go anywhere van and you go to a caravan park???
Haha, this was our 3rd stop in that area of National park camp grounds, it was just a space to stop, no power or hot showers there.
Ark 750 dual wheel jockey wheel.
It’s a Hybrid not a HyBRED
Yes. Say it 20 times fast.
Change your jockey wheel to the arc xo 750, so much better
Good idae
HYBRID …. Not Hybred!
Barely enough battery & solar to run your fridge. Hardly Off Grid.
Just don’t get the hybrid. It’s still heavy anyway. And just a confusing concept. That would drive me mad .
Why stress about a caravan u chose...don't choose that one if ya not happy simple as that
how do you know you’re not happy with it until you’ve chosen it? 🤷♂️. you blurted that out without thinking.
The cupboards are not very Handy. A sock cupboard, an undies cupboard. Etc.
Absolutely

There must be a special bed making course somewhere…..haha!

Agreed.
You could store your clothes in your car.
@@andrewbarry5130 some do that well - we used to have a bag each! Mildly inconvenient but workable.
3000kg Atm. Even a Mitsubishi triton will not do it. Sad to see made in China.
