I like Purple Power because through dilution you can control the power. Soften bugs and do upholstery with a lighter dilution ( 4:1) wheels ( 50/50) and engines (full strength) I even put it in laundry for extra cleaning boost on work clothes. If I had to compare this to Purple Power, Mean Green seems pre diluted at about 75% the strength right out of the bottle. The best I've used is Auto Magic Red Hot but because of the cost $75 per 5gal drum Purple Power is very close at $5 a gallon at Wal-Mart. I just pour it into a fancier name brand bottle so clients don't know. All my bottles are Auto Magic. LA's Awesome Cleaner is another product that does not disappoint. Why spend 75% or more higher for a product when you can get the same job done with a Dollar Store product and put extra profit in your pocket.
I'm traveling ATM and got what looked like tar on the paint. The car is coated. Stopped at a nearby Walmart and picked up a 40oz bottle of this stuff for $2.18. It did the job.
I agree with your assessment. I use a lot of the industrial all-purpose cleaners and many of the mainstreams but I always go back to my old benchmark, Super Clean. You'll have to use mean green out of the bottle "neat" and it's still isn't up there with my old buddy. Punch per dollar, it's hard to beat Super Clean.
Highly recommend.... I used today. You should see my floor before and after. I can believe... What the product did with one application. First time user.
With this stuff when your working with a couple of decades you've gotta let it sit for a few hrs, go in with heavy duty scour pads, wipe it down and hit it multiple times. I've managed to get whatever I'm using this on come back to new.
I have a boat that is just like that boat. But without the trees growning in it. Funny thing is when I got it, it did have a tree growing in it as well.
I’m trying to find a cleaner degreaser that is safe for paint. I got super clean but after reading more about it, I read that it is often too strong and will damage materials in no time. I did use it on my dads tires on his truck full strength and it cleaned them really well. Just wanting something that isn’t super strong that can damage stuff.
How would I go about doing this on a 92 suburban? It doesn't have a cover and I've been weary of ruining electrical components (alternator, bare wires, etc.)
I dilute Super Clean 2 1:1 in a regular 2 gal pump sprayer and use it to clean my 86 F150's engine bay. I do recommend not spraying any electrical components or sensors directly with it or water, unless your negative battery cable is disconnected. I let it soak for about 5mins and then scrub and rinse. I go overboard and dry everything with a blower and use a heat gun on my alternator and and sensors. No issues after years of doing this on my older rides.
Another great video! On a different subject, what would be your choice of pad/compound/polish for light/medium defect/swirl removal on SOFT BLACK Toyota paint? Thanks!!!

Why test that shit on a engine that you can wipe clean with a damp cloth?..you gotta test that shit on a engine that has hundreds of miles of caked on grease and crud to prove if the shit works..cmon bro your wasting my time!
I have six cases of this stuff. I've been using it for a few years now. I like it a lot.

I'd like to know who the "Big Boys" are referenced at 5:20. I need the top performer for this floor!
I haven't researched, but wondering what the ingredients is in Purple Power vs Mean Green. If there is a common ingredient in all degreasers.
I have a boat that is just like that boat. But without the trees growning in it. Funny thing is when I got it, it did have a tree growing in it as well.

Can I clean the seats of my car with Mean Green Super Strength without messing them up?
I looked it up, it looks like its A-OK for upholstery.
