I like to take in the whole look altogether, not just the outfit, and Zendaya's dress by itself is 8/10, it's beautiful, but then you add her hairstyle and suddenly it's a 10/10.
I feel like Dior is going to try to make Anya a Dior girl and I am not sure if I want that. Once someone becomes an ambassador, their choices start becoming less and less exciting. Anya is doing so extremely well now, I don't want her to be tied down.

Maybe it’s bc I dress like a grandma but I LOVE Cynthia Erivo’s look here- the shape is so beautiful and flattering (imo moreso than the green Valentino last week), and I actually think the black lace creates a beautiful fade between the “flaps” at the front and the black panel, as well as softening the gown’s ending in the train, so that it looks like it slowly peters away. I think it’s gorgeous!!
Yes I’m a sucker for a lace gown, and I love the contrast of the black lace against the beige tulle. What I feel that doesn’t work is the pitch black skirt underneath the tulle, it felt too heavy and weighed down the lightness of the tulle and lace. Had they just stayed with the tulle and lace it would have felt more elegant and less heavy and serious.
I think Amanda Seyfried's looks this awards season are referencing her role in the film Mank, where she plays a 1930's film star. That's why I believe she's been wearing a lot of "old Hollywood" inspired outfits ☺
Zendaya's look is so clean and refreshing, the orange and white and the nice summery tanktop and the way it meets the super crisp skirt waistband, my eyes can feel this image and it makes me happy to look at.

i really liked the vera wang tulle and lace dress. if the tulle had been white, it would have been too stark on the lady's darker skin. the tulle was warmed up to compliment her lovely skin tone. maybe a darker tulle that almost appeared nude would have been nice, but then we'd have a harder time seeing the lace detail. it was a good choice, well executed, and nicely worn.
