You are the man Knee Pit!!! I've been using your set-ups since NH3, and you never disappoint. Figured I at least owed you a thank you!!! Peace brother!!
Should I say a peach of a setup haha. No but in all seriousness I love Atlanta it’s my home track and I’ve been going since I was a kid. I always ran good here but struggled to keep tires on the entire run but not with this set up just bumped up the rear end ratio and RR trackbar. Able to hook the bottom like Harvick and run full throttle or slightly burp it the entire run and still have tires at the end of a fuel run. Finally got Chase his first Atlanta win. Great job!
I gave your tune a try for the truck series and with the ai at 100% and no aid assistance I went from 15th to 3rd in qualifying. I'm also using NASCAR HEAT 4, can't afford Heat 5 yet but I thought I'd give it a try and it definitely helped. I noticed my RR tire was wearing more than the other 3 so if I understand you correctly I need to raise the air pressure a little. Thank you for sharing, you earned another sub.
Thanks. I appreciate it. If the RR is wearing more and making the car loose and unstable particularly late in a run then tighten the car some. That would be adjustments such as raising RF pressure, increase wedge, lower track bar that I talk about in the video.
Thanks for sharing your setups. Really do appreciate. I have started to use your configuration as a baseline to see what I can do. Starting with the best lap time I can run and I was able to do 29.493 at best. (Note: I'm using a wheel and pedal combo, w/manual trans) I see the game says to try to hit 28.8 which I have yet to do. But in all honesty I'm not striving for best lap status but rather try to keep my laps consistent while maintaining tire life as best as possible. The only thing I did differently is that I changed the camber degrees on both sides from 8 and -8 to 3 and -3 and set the wedge to 49.5% the result: after a 25 lap run my tire status is as follows: LF 59% @ 218 degrees (avg temp) RF 57% @ 225 degrees (ideal) LR 68% @ 199 degrees (too cold) and RR 55% @ 237 degrees (too hot.) So my question is what I can I do increase temp on the left rear tire and what can I do to drop the temp on right rear tire. Thanks
Hello Thank you for sharing your hard work I’ve set up Atlanta Daytona and Talladega speedways to your specs , tweaked very little holy cow I can’t believe how fast I can go now !!! Thank you for sharing your info !
Haha! Thank you, the other setups weren’t perfect for me but this one worked to perfection, I have my own team on xfinity and we had like a 76 overall Engine and Aero, so we are astronomically slow, and the other races we stayed in last by atleast 5 seconds, but I was finally running in 30th instead of 36th and the right front was almost blown so everyone went pit (idk if it was because of fuel which I was pretty short on too, or if it was their right front worn as well). So I got the lead with 2 to go, I got loose and smacked the wall but kept it straight in the middle of 4, and then I got the white flag in the lead, smacked the wall again with my tire blown, then a caution came out that ended the race (idk if it’s cuz I was nearly rubbing the wall, or maybe someone else spun out, but haha the caution came out) So… Thank You, this setup got me the win. Only adjustments I made were increasing grille tape to 55% I lowered the wedge a bit, highered the rear bump, and highered the front rebound, and the car was perfect, had some issues sticking it on 1-2 but on 3-4 the car ran absolutely amazing. Thank You… sorry this was long and I got on a tangent but haha I got a win out of it thanks
Thank you, just wanted to let you know that this setup is better then you’re heat 4 setup. Got the idea to try it because I couldn’t find a Darlington heat 4 setup. I used your heat 5 on 4, great work dude!
Truck setup is on point! Started from trucks in a 3 star ride used this at Atlanta(albeit on hard not legend) and won! Could probably run top 10 on legend in a 3 star ride! Did adjust the ratios a bit. Placed 2nd at Daytona and 16th at Vegas with your stuff as well.
Thanks this really got me going, as it is I couldn’t make it work at all as it chewed the front tyres however tweaks to shocks, sway bar, weight, wedge made it work for me and this game is a lot of fun now, great channel man
Thank you first time playing Nascar heat and I was a little disapointed in the racing with out your tuning ..it makes the game much more enjoyable thank you the game is great now !!
Do you have any setups for the other 10 tracks? Charlotte, Chicagoland, dover, homestead, Indianapolis, Kansas, Kentucky, Martinsville, New Hampshire, Pocono... and then the road courses? I have no idea what I'm doing and your videos are amazing... they help me a ton
Thanks for sharing these solid setups along with the detailed explanations. Much appreciated. Would love to see some thoughts on road course sets. Thanks again
Hi there, thanks for the video! I got a question though, I've been struggling with tyre wear at Atlanta a lot and whatever I try, I don't get different results. After about three or four laps the RF tyre just goes down at a 15-20% rate for each turn. Sadly even your setup didn't tackle this (though during those first few laps my truck drove a lot better). Trying different things with racing lines, getting off the gas, etc also didn't work. Do you know what could be another cause to this problem? Thanks!
Great informative & very helpful videos! A few questions if you have time or maybe someone in the comments can answer. With this setup I am slightly tight going into turn 1 and the car shakes on the back stretch. Any tweaks I can make to fix this?
3 years late, but all I can say is THANK YOU for this video. You're a legend!
You are the man Knee Pit!!! I've been using your set-ups since NH3, and you never disappoint. Figured I at least owed you a thank you!!! Peace brother!!
Thanks for the support. 👍 I appreciate it.
The man indeed! I just about lapped the whole field in the truck race. Thanks, KPG!
Thank u. Buddy I got 5 wins this morning
this long run setup gave me a win in multiplayer and my first 105 rating on non superspeedways. thx
Oh boy, you can run that outside harry gant groove without letting off in the trucks!! Good setup on all 3 especially on trucks
Thank you for this great setup and for explaining every part. For me this is all new since NH5 is my first nascar game.
oSPECTREo same expect for nascar back in the days

Thumbs up for Chase's first Atlanta win. 👍
Used the cup setup in trucks and blew the rights on the last lap from the lead great setups
Extremely helpful and now i understand more why I'm tweaking each thing! thanks!!!

@@KneePitGaming I'll certainly twerk on it but you got me started in the right direction, thank you again.

Wow I set the car almost to ur setup and fixed alittle do to my liking and won...
Great setup as always! Thanks so much! Very stable and fast setup!
Your setups are great man. They definitely help out a ton

This is good, just a little bit tight for my liking
My tires wear out pretty quickly. less than 10% after about 30 laps. what could I do about it
Are you doing these for all tracks?
Likely not all of them. I try to hit the most popular tracks first and then go from there based on interest.
Thanks for sharing these solid setups along with the detailed explanations. Much appreciated. Would love to see some thoughts on road course sets. Thanks again
I hope!

Bring the shock settings down a bit
What lap times are you running?
Will these work for ps4?
Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong? I use this exact setup, expert with no assists, 4% duration, and Im digging to place 25-30.
Expert is freaking hard
Why doesn’t these setting show up for me?
When you are in the garage pre race go down to where you see “race setup” and it should open all of this up for you.
👍
I listen to this shit he is right about everything set ups are very important 😅
Jesus loves y’all
Um, you know MONSTER Energy doesn’t sponsor the cup series anymore right? Nice going (looking at the thumbnail
Cool! Does it really matter? 🤷♂️ Smfh
