TIP: if you're starting at the bottom with your own team and want to speed up progress, simulate the first season's races, upgrading your team as you go. You could probably do this for multiple seasons increasing your bank roll or your team. But when you do decide to step in the car, you're not toiling for scraps at the back.
Here in 2024, and Stewart-HAAS as 5⭐️ feels comedic now. Especially after recent announcements.
I really miss ALL the CLASSIC racers like....Petty, Dale. SR, dupont-Gordon, Waltrips, Rudd, Labonte, Martin, Etc..... We need a NASCAR game with all the classic legends.
A nascar game that has all the mfg's from 80-99 would be something.

I made 5 Rivals! 3 of them were because of running into them trying to avoid AI Wrecks, The Last 2 are my IRL Nascar Enemies. (Plus, I Have Disable Rivals In Career Mode On And I still Make enemies!)
Interesting, well thankfully as long as you have enough friends you will still have access to good contracts.
@@caliopie86 In The NCS I'm Friends With 20 drivers, Rivals with 5, And the rest are either Neutral Annoyed Mad or Angry!
@@Rowdy_KyleBusch_Fan there ya go. You should be getting offers from the big teams and be able to move up the next season if you want.
@Austin Penrod Every time they tweet, Just Hit Compliment or Apologize.
If you want setting at NORMAL, just make it custom with the same setting numbers, then you can do all the tuning!

Thanks for the video. One question. Does upgrading a car have an effect on simulated races? I'm running cars with about 90-85-85 right now and my sim results seem pretty similar to when I first started out.
No problem. Although I have not tested this, it looks like simulating a race is not consistent. I’ve had my max out car finish 25th but I also have never won a simulated race. With that being said I only skip tracks that I’m probably going to finish as well as simulating or worse. Example I am terrible at road courses so I skip them.

Bro its way cheaper for you on the deluxe edition than those on the normal to upgrade cars. It cost me about 2.6 mil just for the second car and gets more the more you do. To fully upgrade 1 car is about 20 mil on normal game. Might add that difference so people aren't talking about the difference.
your talking about when you own a race team correct? which series in particular are you referring to?

My department is at 90 but my specialist is maxed out and all I can get is 86
Buy another car, I run 2 speedway cars, 2 aero and 2 power employees every time and it lets you go higher
What’s the most balanced ai setting with everything at 100. Hard seems easy and you leave the field once your 1st. Legend they take off from you. Is there a exact setting to make it even. Tire wear etc. has to be something I didn’t try yet.
Ya there’s really no balance to the game. I’ve tried to race on legend at my best track with a setup from an esports guy and I could t keep up. I’m hoping the next game is more balanced

Right you have to complete hot seats and finish well with your current team to be given better contract offers until you save up your money to buy a team you options are limited.

Thanks for the video! Good stuff to remind me of since I may be starting a new career mode soon. One thing I've often wondered but couldn't figure out, when you bump one of your departments up from say, 70 to 75 for either engine, suspension or aero, is there a value associated with that? Or are there other variables that it takes into account? For example, if you bump engine from 70 to 75, is there a set number assigned to that, in HP for instance. Like, 70 would be 400 HP but 75 is worth up to 405/410 HP? Not sure if that makes any sense but figured I'd ask. 🙂
My answer to your question would be yes, but the game does not make it known what the actual increases are so I would assume that your way of thinking is on track we just don’t know for sure

What’s up with getting good reputation. I get tweets and I’m always positive, I race clean and rarely ever have any bad tweets they are normally good and yet they stay the same. So what am I to do. I have raced like 20 seasons and I race on custom settings. Please help
Idk, normally when you reply positive the drivers eventually become your friends. If you have access to the top teams contracts I wouldn’t worry about it that’s all that rep is good for.

How do you change the backround and font of your number in career mode? I’m talking about in races you see your car number on the map. Do you know how to change it or is it not an option.
I believe that’s tied to primary car color. When you go to change your paint scheme you can change your primary and secondary colors along with the number font.

The gold edition starting money will help but you would need to start a truck team to make it worth it. I like joining a team until I have enough to start a truck team. You will need about 4.5mil to have a fully upgraded truck team. I have a cost video that breaks that down
ım not doing anything wrong but when ı upgrade my car before a race ı just cant upgrade it it says harsh driving no saving please help!!!
I'd have to simulate this and see but im assuming you cant upgrade because you'll only be able to fix the car?

What i dont understand is why durring 2 seasons in dirt racing i was able to race fine on easy mode settings win a lot races then i go to race in truck race for 3 seasons win alot the races plus 2 championships on easy mode settings then i go to bucsh series for a season win 7 races come short of champion in easy mode setting but soon i go to drive in cup race on easy mode settings, i get constanly passed cause the car is slow like a slug. Could that mean the game is messing up or what?
The reason I can come up with is your reputation is low and you did now qualify for a top tier nascar team. You have to make sure to keep your rep up to have access to the better teams
For your own team can you hire other drivers
i am currently grinding a cup season right now as soon as i start a team and have an answer i'll let you know.

As far as I can tell, It looks like you can have 6 cars but no actual teammates/ Drivers. Which is weird considering your “mechanics” are on the teammates tab? Def wish you could hire other drivers and run up to a 4 car team. Hopefully someday
Is there a way that I can leave a team I didn’t want to join? For example, I want to start my own xfinity team but I’m forced to join a team. Is there a way I can leave that team?
You can only make those decisions at the beginning of the season. If you’re in the middle of the season my best advice would be to simulate until the end of the year then choose to start a team. Only other option is to delete career and start over.

It seens like no matter what i do i cant catch up to the AI, even if i put it on easy...i dont suck its just confusing because on one map i got second place on normal and now i cant even get past 25th on easy please help me!!
Do you own your own team? If you do did you make sure to work on your car in between races?
I dont own my own team i picked a team and it seems like no matter the settings i put i stay at 158 to 152 on most turns so idk man im bout to give up lol.

Or can you just use your own paint shema in online.
No just the paint scheme. The online cars should be the same. Just need to worry about custom setups or what preset your going to use. Then it comes down to your skill.
How do I reputation 38 or better to join team penske
At the end of every race you will see messages drivers have sent you, make sure you apologize to the ones that are mad and complement the others. The more positive responses you give you will become friends with drivers. The more friends you have the higher your reputation.

If we join a team, do we keep the money we earn while driving for the team to put towards our own team if we decide to start our own team at the end of the season?
Yes, the team star rating can effect this as well. I believe you earn a little more once you own a team.
Btw I ramble cause I don’t have a script and that doesn’t work well with A.D.D. and being a talker 😂😂😂
I realized that their is no point of doing career mode... why? well there's no cutscenes or any immersive point to it and the ai in career mode just cheats and rubberbands time to time. I started playing the free mode and it's way better and way more balanced. but good video anyways. If they actually make a REAL career mode in the future then maybe I'll be inclined to play it. what we got we was rubbish.

Always reply to all tweets with positive responses or with apologies if someone thinks you wrecked them.

Your not gonna get tweets every time and rivals really aren’t anything to be worried about considering they aren’t going to wreck you. Just do what I said and your reputation will be high enough to get access to the contracts with the good teams. Other than that just have fun racing
How do i get a rival to friend
When the rival says something to you, you have to apologize or complement them. After a few of those they will become friends. This really only affects contract but during a race rivals don’t do much that I have seen.

How do you keep the drivers from getting mad at you so easily on this one? Heat 4 I didn't have this problem
It really doesn’t matter unless there’s a contract your trying to get and need the rep for it. I had Kyle bush as max rival and he never did anything to me in the track. So the friend vs rival is for contracts only in my experience
@@caliopie86 I race on the hard to try and make it more real and every time I get around the 11 or 19 the try to werck me. It's kinda annoying
@@scottmoody7052 only thing you can really do is after the race is if your able to respond to them is to chose apologize or compliment and make get them neutral or a friend. If it continues then that’s probably a big.
I just got this game and started my career, I’ve already pissed off almost half the drivers and have like 5 rivals 😂 not my fault I don’t mean to make them crash.

@@thomaszach43 you know I am not sure if you can elevate a team to 5 stars. I believe your own team rating will grow when getting better results. So it maybe possible.

How do I upgrade my car I’m driving so slow
In career mode you have to upgrade your departments and train up your employees. Then as you do so week by week your car will get faster, or just lower the difficulty.

@@itsyourboygrant6139 to have control over upgrade yes but otherwise you have to just stick it out until you get a 5 star team contract.
How do I join a team?
Teams have specific qualifications you need to meet, if you go to your contracts page and look at offers it will show you what you need to be offered a contract with a specific team, like good rep (lots of friends) and points standings
Not yrying to be mean, but did anyone count how many times the word "UM" was used in this video
How many seasons do you have to run on the dirt series before you graduate to truck series
Just one. if your doing well in your first year you’ll get hot seat offers. Do well in those then the next year you’ll get a contract offer the next year.

You have to go into work plan and tell your crew to work on the car

I think that’s about right. 1st season is hot seat for dirt then 2nd season while under contract for dirt you should start getting offers to hot seat in trucks.

I can't get higher than 20 place on easy AI level. The game sucks and I want my money back. I didn't buy the game to be 20th on easy. There is an Easy level in the games so that I can be in the first place, because in life I am a bad driver.
