I am a kinder teacher in California as well. We are doing 3 hours of live instruction and 2 hours of asynchronous learning. I can TOTALLY relate to the background noise in the students' homes. I am on day 6 and still haven't been able to figure out the best way. I think some parents forget that we can hear them. This virtual teaching is exhausting! I'm doing the best I can. I am looking forward to more of your vlogs and hearing about how DL is going.!
I love watching your videos! I am a senior in high school and I do not plan to go into teaching, but I have always had a ton of respect for teachers (especially those who are as dedicated as you). My mom taught at my school while I was in 1st-8th grade, so I have spent a lot of time around teachers. I am very excited to see how you are organizing everything for virtual learning. It's important for people to see that we can take time to make super cute things, but we don't always have to. I am so so happy you are teaching again!! I wonder if Google Meets is like Zoom where they can be on mute and just hold the space bar to talk? When they let go it mutes them back!! AND OH MY GOODNESS! lol I put all of those things on popsicle sticks too, including your brain!! LOVE YOU!! 💕

HEY!! I have that same pink keyboard that you have, although, I have mine in black which I love, but I do mainly use it for my iPad and my mouse that I got for my birthday! And I also have a small TV I use every in a while for my Family Virtual Hangout Night to where I use that to “project” my second screen for my family to see while I have the Google Meet titles on the main screen, although I’ve heard everyone saying that you should put this on the second screen instead of the main screen, which, I may end up doing when I’m not screen sharing something at the moment!
