DJI is unmatched. You can't get a better deal on a camera of similar quality and features in its class. It is by far the best handheld camera option on the market, unless you are looking for a camera with decent zoom. To my knowledge that is the only thing the DJI really cant do.
I just ordered a Dji action 3. I mostly wanna use it for underwater and mini vlog type videos. I got my iPhone for zoom. 😂 hopefully I get no issues. 🤞

as much as the phone is way more reliable in taking quick shoots, I prefer a dedicated video camera because I’ll know my phone will run out of storage space 😅
For social media you don't need a crazy bitrate. People work with 50Mbps, 100 mbps rates, but social media converts it to 1-2mbps video. 😀 1 TB is enough for hundreds of hours at a medium rate.

I would say it comes down to the workflow if you establish a good one the program does not matter. I would go with Davinci Resolve. Yes it's highly prof software but if you watch some tutorial on it and ignore all the other buttons it's the best you can get and it's free.
Dji osmo pocket, it has a larger sensor, more dynamic range and easier to work with footage (debatable). The dji osmo has more going for it, videography-wise than the iPhone 15 Pro max, there's even a bundle including a dji mic kit, a very decent lav mic, totalling to less than half the price of the phone, about 300-500 depending on where you buy it
The dji osmo also has less pixel defects than the iPhone 15 Pro max, if you have a larger professional monitor, you'll definetely notice the difference

more detail on the iPhone.. cannot tell if it is just from magnification or color / levels / contrast... can see into shadows. (some cheap old Yashica cameras with a f1:17 50mm lens have incredible color separation, can see more subleties in the images. (film cams.)

The osmo pocket 3 also comes with wireless mic for 2 which the iPhone doesn't. Further to that, does anyone truly know which camera lens to look into when taking photos or videos? 😂
I watched a few lowlight comparisons and the Pocket is much better in lowlight. Less lens flare dots - plus the stabalastion is really cranky on the 15. In normal lighting Id go with a phone tho

You don't have the OSMO optimized for the shots, because if you did, it would look much better. Nice try though.
Go to low light area or vlogging in the night than Pocket 3 show you the real deal.

On the iPhone go to settings go to camera and you can modify the camera and the video to make them look sharper and clear
