Great video! Really cool to see how much creative production you put into this track. The demo missing guitars was noticeable. The final drum parts are fantastic. I can't get over the lyric "without no limits" not logically making sense.
Thanks for the kind words, Michael. I love working on making a production fill out in new ways. I’m with you - the drum changes turned out great in this one. Chris Brush is a beast behind the kit. Haha - and great catch on the lyric.
Same issue with this video as with your newest one. Your mic that you talk into, is in stereo, but all audio coming out of the computer is folded back to mono. You really should be double checking these things.. you are an audio engineer right? :)
Does mono make the information I’m sharing invalid? As I mentioned on the other video I had some issues with Camtasia. For some reason the default capture is mono and upon update I didn’t realize it reverted to default settings. But let’s not pretend these are motion picture films. This is part of learning video production on my end. Extend some grace.
@@shanegrush The information does come through but summing everything to mono does also hides a lot of things you talk about. So while it isn't catastrophic, it is unfortunate. May I suggest you treat a final video that you upload to youtube the same way you probably treat a final mix for a client? Meaning you take at least a quick listen/look through it before publishing? That would help mitigate these issues. You are definitely not alone in making these mistakes, so yes, some grace is extended.. heck I've had a mix by mistake being rendered as mono and it made it all the way to final production. Was a nasty mistake and probably why I'm traumatized by it and thus pointing it out here (ironically the mastering engineer didn't catch it either!). This was 25 years ago and I haven't done the same mistake since. :)

Thank you sir for your breakdown. It gives me insight and inspiration
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
Song seemed pretty boring without the added instrumentation and vocals. With new things recorded, it is a nice song.
Yeah, I agree. How can we take an idea from unfinished to finished is always a fascinating topic to me. Thanks for watching.
