I got a 2013 Ford Focus, so far it has 143,000 miles still going strong, just got the engine oil changed, no transmission issues and no recalls! It’s really good!
I bought this car in black over seas and brought it stateside. I absolutely love it. I just took it on a long road trip from Virginia Beach to Texas and back home to Virginia and I have to say it did amazing on the road, the speed was awesome and I only used two and a half tanks of gas... overall Iam happy I got this car!!!
The car is actually quick once you trained the cpu adapt to your driving style. I drive aggressively and the car adapted to it and all shifts and braking became more tight. I have the 2017 se sedan with dct and I love it
I just bought this car on November 11th. I love it. I love the black interior and exterior. I’ll be getting the windows tinted (except the front of course) very soon! Nice review. There’s not many (if any) reviews on this specific model in the color black. I’m just having an issue with my audio. It was good in the beginning but I was messing with the settings the other day, the volume doesn’t go past 14.
Thanks for checking out the vid! And congrats on the new car 👍 that audio issue isn't one I've heard of before :/ might have to go back through the sync settings maybe restore things back to factory
Years later. They still make this car in Europe and China. It is very popular. There is even a larger hatchback in Europe that looks like a station wagon. The Ecoboast sucked. The normal 2.3 fuel injected is great.
It is unnerving that sedans are going away. Not only is an affordable vehicle becoming unavailable and being replaced by much more expensive vehicles, but in the future when you have more SUVs than sedans it makes crash safety statistically become unfavorable
Absolutely agree with you man. I try to tell people this regularly who drive older cars. On top of that even a "cheap" Mitsubishi compact sedan starts at 18k so under 20k for a car is basically gone
1st. Why? 2. A Focus owner, I wasnt aware that "You can make it so your speed goes up when you go faster" from the radio! 😂🤣 3. This WOULD be the car you get an exhaust clip from...but shouldn't have bothered, lmao
Been looking for cars (I’ve been having way to many problems with my current Chevy Cruze) and I saw one for a used 2018 @ around $8,000 on 62,200 miles…seems good price wise right?. Def will go test drive
I am researching cars for my young adult daughter. Since we can receive a family discount if we purhcase a Ford, I have been trying to find one that is reasonably priced, and A to B car w/ some of the features you mentioned. I have researched stats on the reliability of Ford cars and it does rang under 50% and for some reason they are on the higher side of maintence costs. I pretty much felt like giving up on Ford, but then I came accross your video. I will research this more as it seems to fit my daughters needs. She will be moving to Arizona and I want her to have a reliable car. Would you still say this is a reliable car? Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
My Dad is looking at a 2017 hatchback version for me and I'm wondering the same thing. The class action lawsuits against Ford for the transmission in the cars has me very nervous.
This car my friend owns and he's had it 5 years nothing but oil changes. A lot of ford's issues tend to be that they focus on the F150 and the Mustang. The economy cars they don't do as much for however the focus is popular in Europe and so it is fairly reliable especially with the non turbo models. Turbo models need a bit more maintenance and care and put strain on certain parts.
"ve a 2016 Focus SE 2.0 L GDI engine . Does anyone know why change oil light would come on after only three weeks since I changed it ?? Both national Ford rep and local dealer service rep said it didn't even have this feature .. Anyone have any idea ?
I love my 2015 focus however i recently came across some transmission issues and now I have to replace the ton other thann that the engine is a little beasts
@@ceejaehungerford3658 It’s been great. No issues except for minor things, like tail light stopped working so I had to change it with one from Spec-D. I’ve changed out the suspension system with one from KW and Whiteline sway bars. And I’m planning to change the stock wheels with a pair from TSW.

Just got one lol, with your comment on the front being more stylish, I bought the Hatchback and absolutely love it, looks slick as a daily
Heck yeah!! Enjoy and good choice on the hatch 👍🏿
@@LJsGarage thanks for the reply man!

Awesome! That's good to hear it's a solid car I'll say that for sure. 🙏🏿
Call a dealership. Give vin number and they will
tell you of any recalls or problems
How’s it holding up now!!!!!!!!
I looove my 2016 SE 2.0 L GDI engine . It's just awesome . I had an old 06 Sentra and yeah not a fair comparison but sooo much better in soo many ways
Thats awesome Im glad you enjoy the SE!

I'm honestly not surprised. It's crazy how different the markets around the world are

Thats all these really need to stay modern!

Great puns. Got my sub. Thinking of getting one of these. Feeling good about it so far.
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate the good feedback

You gotta reset it. That’s what I did with mine. After you do your oil change, make sure that you reset the oil light.
Solid review man ! Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Hope you find the right car if you're shopping
Thank you, I learned something from your video! 😊👏👏👏👏👏
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for stopping by :)
this is the car I need, just average car for an average working man, no need for bells or whistles.
Right, sometimes that's all we need in this hectic life filled with tech
I love my 2015 focus however i recently came across some transmission issues and now I have to replace the ton other thann that the engine is a little beasts
Oh no :/
🤣🤣🤣 I’m high or this shit is funny as hell. How is this not a meme
haha either way im glad I could get a laugh out of ya
I hated that headunit that came with my Focus so I changed it with an 8inch display from 4Dtech.
Worthwhile upgrade!
How has your experience been with your car?

Any of the issues that the past models have had?
Vibrations from either the motor mounts going bad or rotors warping. That's all I've heard but it's not that common. Overall a reliable little car!
Transmission
@@GeneralCheezyPr0ductionz fords transmission always bad, but the 18 is wayyy better then the previous years
You should have gotten the sel cuz it's the same as my 2017 sedan model
Lol you keep getting close to a Hyundai Accent Hatch 😂🤣😂🤣
Soon haha!
0:58 - Ford used to own Aston Martin so I wouldn't be surprised.
Factsss
All tho I don’t see any cupholders
I think it has them in the door if I recall
does this car have apple play?
This one did not :/
My wife has that exact same car
Niceee!
A guy selling this car with a turbo engine anyone?? It has 80,000 miles for 9k dealership
I'm this market that's a fair deal. It's hard to find cars under 100k miles for under 10 like we used to.
Good evening
What's up my friend!
@@LJsGarage no thanks
Ayyo sexiness
The Ford Focus is a piece of shit. I bought one brand new and six months later the transmission started popping. And also the car poorly designed
😬 man I'm sorry that Ford let you down. I wish lemons weren't a thing
Know when u got a lemon
2017 and above only safe options
Hello
not that they hit puberty
Lol right

Not a good system
Oh its shit
Tell me how you really feel lol
It’s cause their lead designer used to work for Aston, you can’t just place it on just cause you “feel inspired” lol it’s called patent infringement
😂 I gotcha
