    I really enjoyed this prep! I like how we got to watch while you continued to explain the process before adding good music that seemed appropriate. I love how you decided to create the display piece & leave the tiny shell as an accent. Really good job, Jarek! It looks great! 👍❤️

    Wow! You have inspired me to try prepping the fossils I already have. I never guessed I could use my dremel to that. I will check out what tips my local supply store has for bits.
    Thank you so much for sharing.
    Your fossil is stunning, gorgeous, fabulous, and outstanding!
    Stay Crystal 💫

    Hi, Jarek! Are these rocks found directly in the clay? Shouldn't they be in the sedimentary layer? We have a new excavation of clay nearby, maybe i should check.. :)

    Nice job... you're a natural prepper! Was mainly watching if you were trying to save the little brachiopod. It made your exhibit 👍

    • @Amberscape
      @Amberscape  2 роки тому +1

      Not sure if natural but i like it, matrix pieces pop out with satisfaction😁

    Wonderful work! That turned out gorgeously, and I especially like the extra brachiopod you also partially freed. Again, seeing the interior of the creature is unusual and very cool.
    Did you keep some of the rocks that got cut off? Was there anything in them that looked like it could be prepared as well?

    • @Amberscape
      @Amberscape  2 роки тому +2

      I splitter every inch that was cut out😁, there was some more brachiopods, nothing major:)

    Beautiful job on the prep. Did you stabilize the fossil? I like the fact you left the little shell next to it. That's great that the Paleo tips work in the dremel, awesome budget answer to fossil prep. Looking forward to seeing more beautiful specimens coming out of the matrix from you!

    • @Amberscape

      Thanks Karen! It didnt need stabilizing! Its quite firm😁

    Very cool! Good job on the clean up, always wanted to try this but I still haven't found a piece big enough 😭. Perhaps this year I will hit up the mazon creek by me and finally find some nice fossils! Did you post the end results on reddit?

    About to have a go at doing this. I have about 5-6 rocks I found which I think are fossils. I’m a total newbie and don’t even know for sure but from research I’m pretty sure 😂 did you soak this in acid or anything or just go straight in?
    Hi from Australia 👋

    • @Amberscape
      @Amberscape  Рік тому +1

      Hey there! These ammonites still have pearessent shell - acid would it that shell up:), so i prep ammonitrs without acid.
      Hi from lithuajia😁
