I really enjoyed this prep! I like how we got to watch while you continued to explain the process before adding good music that seemed appropriate. I love how you decided to create the display piece & leave the tiny shell as an accent. Really good job, Jarek! It looks great! 👍❤️
Wow! You have inspired me to try prepping the fossils I already have. I never guessed I could use my dremel to that. I will check out what tips my local supply store has for bits. Thank you so much for sharing. Your fossil is stunning, gorgeous, fabulous, and outstanding! Stay Crystal 💫 Mari.
Hi, Jarek! Are these rocks found directly in the clay? Shouldn't they be in the sedimentary layer? We have a new excavation of clay nearby, maybe i should check.. :)
Yes these were in clay, check out full Hunting video of it! Its in playlist "fossil Hunting" sedimentsry layer probably deep underground if its still exist
Wonderful work! That turned out gorgeously, and I especially like the extra brachiopod you also partially freed. Again, seeing the interior of the creature is unusual and very cool. Did you keep some of the rocks that got cut off? Was there anything in them that looked like it could be prepared as well?
Beautiful job on the prep. Did you stabilize the fossil? I like the fact you left the little shell next to it. That's great that the Paleo tips work in the dremel, awesome budget answer to fossil prep. Looking forward to seeing more beautiful specimens coming out of the matrix from you!
Hi. Tell me if you found this ammonite at your place in Lithuania ? Although it is not complete it is still beautiful. Well done ! Greetings from Poland
Very cool! Good job on the clean up, always wanted to try this but I still haven't found a piece big enough 😭. Perhaps this year I will hit up the mazon creek by me and finally find some nice fossils! Did you post the end results on reddit?
About to have a go at doing this. I have about 5-6 rocks I found which I think are fossils. I’m a total newbie and don’t even know for sure but from research I’m pretty sure 😂 did you soak this in acid or anything or just go straight in? Hi from Australia 👋
Awesome piece! Excellent job revealing more of its beauty!
Oh thanks man!🔥😁🙏
A real display piece now! What a great job you did. Beautiful!
Thanks!🙏😁
Nice prep Jarek, interesting piece of matrix as well.👍

Great job! Just bought some of their tips for my Dremel thought i would have a look how they work.
They are miles ahead of standart dremel tip!:)
Nice job... you're a natural prepper! Was mainly watching if you were trying to save the little brachiopod. It made your exhibit 👍
Not sure if natural but i like it, matrix pieces pop out with satisfaction😁
It came out beautiful 🥰
Thanks Margie!:)

I splitter every inch that was cut out😁, there was some more brachiopods, nothing major:)

Hi from Australia 👋
Hey there! These ammonites still have pearessent shell - acid would it that shell up:), so i prep ammonitrs without acid.
Hi from lithuajia😁
I’ve been looking around for tips to use for the Dremel. Where’d you get yours? Site link if you can?
Ive got it from store with building tools and materials😁
Ah sorry misread what u asked for - website name is "paleozoic"
Is the tool spinning or vibrating? :)
Vibrating:)
Įdomu 👍 gal teko domėtis kokia tokio kūrinio vertė eur ? :)
Neisivaizduoju, pas mus lietuvoje amonitai labai reti, nemaciau kad butu parduodami:))
Great. Pity it’s not complete but still a beautiful fossil.
