@@MauritiusWithLove Because they came in glass bottles. It was a minor (if tiny) hazard in the field, and soldiers just left them for enemies to easily find, unfortunately. They still provide Tobasco sauce with a few MREs, but it's a packet now, instead of a bottle- so basically, this makes sure that you use it all at once, and then throw it away with the rest of your trash, instead of keeping it on you (and tossing it later, where it's easily spotted).
So he basically mixed and matched from a case of many different MRE'S... I think they gave the Marine a case of MRE'S and said, make this look extra appetizing! I'm still apauled he skipped the chili-mac and used the ravioli instead though... Also, proved he's an OG by knowing how to use those ridiculous beverage bags... As a civilian I'm 100% unable to make them functional as a beverage retention device... Dude is a legend! You should react to a video from Steve1989MREInfo channel... he has reviews of the type of rations Gen Dit would have had in the UK and more from everywhere, most recently he tried a Columbian ration!!! Also, they make half the MRE'S like 5 minutes from my house at Ameriqual. Have some friends who used to work there. Not a horrible place to work I'm told.
American ration packs are 50 times better than the rest of the world I would love to see you try and reaction to eating them as someone who never server
Nice content love from India.
Thank you 💞
Tobasco sauce is big in the us military
Ahhh just like Britain 🙂
They used to put tiny tiny Tabasco bottles in the MRE's back in the early days but stopped sometime in the 90's ☹
@@Lemonjellow that's what I thought my dad was station in germany in the 80s
Oh that is a shame that they have stopped. Was there any particular reason why they stopped?

Rations.... I have bad memories of the ones my father brought home back in the late 80's. The cheese spread 💩💩💩🤢
It cant be that bad cant it?
@@MauritiusWithLove yes....yes it can, lol
To be fair, the cheese spread before the late 90s/early 2000s was notorious for being bad. I've had the newer stuff. It's actually good.
