This video demonstrates how to completely remove the EGR cooler from your vehicle. This part is redundant if you have removed the EGR valve using one of our EGR delete kits.
This kit includes our EGR cooler hose blanks, this enables you to remove the EGR cooler / EGR thermostat which is redundant after removing the EGR valve. Our kit allows you to retain the coolant bleeding function of the EGR thermostat. One of our blanks features a unique design bleed screw which can be used to bleed the coolant, retaining this important function. All parts are CNC machined from billet aluminium then anodised. - Авто та транспорт

yes. You are better off doing a EGR Software delete and close off the Egr system that way, no mess, no parts need. simple
What about if you live in California... will that method allow me to pass emission test or not?
@@carlohrndz3948 Depends on if they are allowed to remove engine covers. In the UK as part of the MOT inspection testers are not allowed to remove engine covers which in turn makes it far easier to have blanks such as these in place.

Why plug the water pipe?
Is it not better to connect these water pipes so that the water continues to circulate in the motor?

If you plug the 2 pipes your car never go to full operating temperaure, why this have thermostat from factory? you can not conect the two pipes.
it does not impact the water flow, look up how to cooling system works
After the Egr cooler delete after engine problem ?
Yes you can only fit these after you delete the EGR function
What is the out come of this will your engine perform better?
Would you get better fuel economy will the work for a 2011 w Passat?
No more black oil during changes, less soot in engine
It’s illegal to do this as more emissions going to the environment
Peak cylinder temperature will be higher in your engine
Fuel economy will improve, power will improve if tunned, engine lifespan will improve, throttle response will improve

You may aswell just purchase some silicon or heater hose to connect both in and out flow of egr cooler, this is just a bodge jobby. Why would you want to pay for what is essentially two bolts?
Because its cleaner. They fit perfectly. It also allows access to the water pump. If we did your option of getting a silicone pipe and connecting them it would block the water pump access, plus you would need to straight through bulkhead adaptors to connect the new pipe. Your plan would likely cost more than this kit and be worse in function. I think I paid 12 euro for mine?

Why is there a bleed screw?
I believe it is to replace the bleed screw from the egr stat and allow the coolant system to bleed properly as its a high point in the system.
I removed my egr cooler and egr and I didn’t have to bleed it!?

DO NOT DO THIS. If you do, Law enforcement can spot this and in some counties this is illegal
My engine lifespan, fuel efficiency, & weight savings are more important than this stupid unnecessary component.
when you put the engine cover back on you cannot see it.
I don't know where you live but most law enforcement wont have the budget to flow this kind of thing up. It may fail a yearly inspection but this modification is very easy to reverse for the test. Getting EGR coded out and back in again is also cheap. EGRs provide very minuscule emission reductions. If you are worried about emissions then learn how to "hyper mile" your car, its actually kind of fun. Removing the EGR will improve the reliability of your car. The longer you keep it on the road the less of a carbon footprint it will have despite what the science denying environmentalists say
