I would return it. You paid for a brand new one. It looks brand new, but someone dropped the ball when quality checking it. They cost too much for me to accept it like that at full retail price. I'd request a new one. I hope you got a new one.
So true! It’s just too much money. I brought it back. I haven’t got an other one yet. Im considering the new one that just dropped. I’m still deciding. Thank you for your advice!
@@Nolathly ooh. yes! i'd get the new one! I got the 15" M2 a few weeks ago. not knowing the new one was coming out so soon (should have known that' s why this was on sale) lol. I contemplated returning it when the M3 released, but I didn't know if I wanted to come out that much for the 15" M3. So I decided to keep the M2. I'm using it for school and pleasure. no heavy workload. So it's honestly perfect for me. right now anyway. 😅
@@TheClothCorner The M2 is a very good choice too. I got the new one, everything was fine this time, so glad! I kept it! I uploaded a new unboxing, check it out if you want to!
Maybe Apple needs to reevaluate quality control. My M3 MacBook Pro arrived with damage to the screen. It was new and hardly noticeable, but I requested an exchange anyway so I wouldn’t have to deal with any issues later. I happened not to like the Space Black color so I exchanged it for silver. It’s supposed to arrive on Monday, but I wish it would have just arrived as expected. I probably would have just kept the black. Idk. Lol
That's right, you buy such an expensive device and then expect a flawless product. The store where I purchased the laptop offers a rental program and refurbished equipment. I suspect that mine was a refurbished device. The Pro has a nice black. Unfortunately, the Air only has the Midnight version, otherwise I maybe would have also taken the black version. But I love the contrast between the silver laptop and the black keyboard. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is fine with your new device and that you like the color. If necessary, replace it again! 🤞🏽✨
Thank you so much for your advice, yes I’ve already taken it back. I’ll look out for another one in an official Apple Store or wait if Apple drops a new one soon.
@@krt2993I unboxed it and realized it didn’t look like I was the first person unboxing it. It had scars on the bottom and lot of dust and just looked dirty. Just be careful when you get one and look very very carefully when you unbox it. Take pictures and ask someone if they also think it looks used. Hope this helps!
@@Nolathly I basically got a discount because it was $250 instead of $329, but still a lot for a defective iPad. I did get it through Amazon, some people did have some bad reviews now that I think about it, but most of them were positive.
@@rickyrich1089 oh sorry I thought you commented on the other video. I bought it from a major electronics retailer in my city. I bought it 100% new, not used or refurbished. But I feel like it might was refurbished or used. I live in Germany.
Dont necessarily buy a new one and not the newest model. Maybe inform yourself about getting a used one and not the newest model. Take care with buying used or refurbished, it should be a trustworthy place. Also you’d don’t necessarily need to get a mac there a lot of amazing cheaper versions. Hope this helps 🤍
Well paying so much money for a gadget that is labeled as new and apparently is not is kind of disappointing, I didn’t want a refurbished gadget I bought a new one.
Wow that’s literally so stupid of you, when you pay this much for a device there shouldn’t be any compromise in quality, and if there is, that’s totally for the company to blame

During the unboxing video it is not noticeable though. How long did you find out the scratches?
Honestly I realized it while unboxing I also spend a little time looking closely I just didnt put it in the Video.
My iPad 9 came defective with a bad camera and I still used it without returning. But in this case for something this expensive I would’ve returned it
