great video I'd just like to add everytime you see the extra knobs and switches on the back of his guitar on this song it's a fuzz factory, the reason it sounds different to other examples might be because it's in his guitar so it kinda has to be the first thing in the signal chain

Yeah. I use a zvex fuzz factory and a few other pedals and I get pretty close to this tone.
