@@AkhRhai thanks! I have 1 other question. How do you get the fools partition all the way to the top? Im in the goblet and i cant get it all the way to the ceiling. Is it because of that or am I doing something wrong?
Hello! I love this ambience so much and am trying to create the look for my apartment =) May I ask what you are using to frame the Hingan window partitions with the black border where it meets the stage panels? Is that the wood slat partitions turned sideways? Thank you.
@@AkhRhai Thank you for the quick reply! So we can position it where only 1 line shows? Let me try that later. It looks incomplete without the bordering xD
Beautiful work as always! The "three-layer" flooring mat has me stumped, can't figure it out. If I float them using a stage panel with wooden loft, I'd expect all three mats to float to the same z-axis coordinate, instead of pancaked on top of each other. May I ask for a hint? lol
Basically I float one layer at a time, then rotate them before I float the next layer. Then I dye that layer of mats, leave the others with no dye so I can tell them apart. The first layer you can rotate back BEFORE you float the next layer, but your next layer needs to be rotated while they’re still on the floor so you’ll be able to target them once they snap together. When you’ve floated the second layer and rotated it (be really careful so you don’t accidentally rotate the first layer) you just go out from the house and reset yourself, the first layer will be where it was supposed to. It’s a very tedious process but I hope my explanation helps :’)
I got it! The use of dye and differently rotated mats are important to be able to identify and select the correct mat you want to work with. I found trying to get pixel-perfect positioning (using wooden loft with grid snap off) to be the most tedious aspect.
@Freakachu hello! You need to do them one layer at a time and leave the house in between each layer. They will temporarily snap together during each layer set, but if you only rotate the specific layer you are working on it will only "save" that one and the previous layers will go back to where they should be when you return back in. It's a bit of a mess to explain in text, so I might make a quick video on this.
It is indeed! It's the planted version, so you need a flower pot and seed and grow it :) use one of each pomace for a chance of getting one of this particular color.

I've built this one in just the top floor of a shirogane small. There is unfortunately no way to remove the interior pieces like the chandelier, but if it helps this was made in a shirogane small and the lamp is the smallest oasis one you can also find at the vendor!

Depends entirely on the design and how my inspiration is doing. :) If I'm on a roll and everything just clicks I'm probably done in a couple of days, on other occasions it's taken me up to 2 months to finish one. Effective time though, somewhere between 15-25 hours of building for a small I think.

Flooring mat, you get it at the vendor! It's actually 3 of them stacked on top of each other to make it thicker 😏
@@AkhRhai That's so smart! Thank you so much. I can finally create more loft ideas without worrying about the amount of space an actual loft takes. A really big thanks to you for helping the ffxiv community in expressing their creativity through housing. You're truly a warrior of light and house builds. Haha! Looking forward to seeing more of your future builds ^^/
What floor was used for the loft? This looks really thin, I can't figure out what it is
It's flooring mats, 3 stacked on top of each other! A bit of a finicky glitch :)
Im brand new to housing, had mine for a while but wasn't sure what to do with it. Found your channel and it's given me a bunch of inspiration! In cases like this, what exactly do you do to the first floor of the small house exactly?
I start out with an idea of what I want to create and make a layout to fit it, pretty much! It helps knowing the whole library of housing items to inspire certain features and just experimenting :)
@@AkhRhai Thanks for the fast reply! That makes a lot of sense, im sure you've spent hundreds of hours messing around and experimenting. For reference, do you remember what you used to make the floor for the small little second floor in this video? (or is it called a loft?)
@@windyboo6453 I used flooring mats layered on top of each other :)
@@AkhRhai Thanks! Last question, what did you use to make it look like beams in front of the tub?
Love this! How were you able to get the back bar to light up like that. I think it looks really good!
It's just a bar rack, showcase and some glade lanterns hidden inside it 😘
So you used Hingan partitions for the walls and then flooring mats for the loft? What did you use to float objects up to the loft if I may ask?
I usually use a shelf (riviera wall shelf or antique shelf), but for larger objects I might use wooden loft!
@@AkhRhai thanks for the reply. I'm just starting to decorate inside my first house and I'm still trying to figure out how to float stuff xp
@@sidharthavenugopal1526 heh, just be patient!! Also I have some guides on glitching on my channel if it helps :)
@@AkhRhai ahaha tyty, I'll definitely check them out tomorrow. Just wanted to say that i love what you've done with the house in this video 😁
@@sidharthavenugopal1526 thank you so much!!
Love this but...what is the glam!
Mogstation chestpiece :> far eastern something
What did you use to create the blue walls next to the hingan pertains?
It's just stage panels, hidden glade lanterns and some bonsai trees :)
Amazing!! Congrats! May I ask you what did use to "hang" the chocobo lantern, its like a rope or something
Decorative wall fan, straight from the vendor! ^^
I absolutely love this!. What did you use for the wall-shelves up in the loft?
It’s the wooden steps! Just the bottom step poking through the wall ^^
Hey, I know I'm late to this, but I'm trying to recreate this and I would like a list of the items used here
200 items is a lot of items to just list and that's a whole lot of time 😂 there's not much in there that I think would be hard to identify, but I'm happy to help you with specific things if you're confused about anything!
@@AkhRhai I know and I'm sorry, but I'm new to housing in general and this seems like the perfect design for my home
@@trial_with_an_error9687 I totally understand! Best thing is to start experimenting with the basics, maybe watch some of my videos where I'm actually building stuff? That and just click around in the furniture preview to learn more about how the things actually look :) if you want to I can help you on discord too, it's a lot easier to be able to send pictures or videos of little things! ^^
@@AkhRhai Mainly the bars and the how you got the lanterns in the hingan window partition and the trees behind it
@@trial_with_an_error9687 the windows are very simple, so is the bar really, just a few items put together and some hidden glade lanterns for extra lighting effect :) is a bit much to explain in just a comment though, but as I said feel free to join my discord and I can help you with some screenshots
may i know what do you use for your front door, please? thank you :D
Fools threshold, white rectanuglar partitions for the frame and 2 chochin lanterns for the handles :)
@@AkhRhai thank you 😄
@@AkhRhai how do you rotate the white rectangular partition to become the door frame
@@Vergrizzly I use 3 of them! Check out my door tutorial video, it's the same principle ^^
what kind of ceiling and house type are you using? ive never seen that ceiling before
This is the default ceiling in shirogane. :) this plot is a small, as listed in the description!
@@AkhRhai also the blue walls in between the hingan partitions, what did u use for those?
@@Kwano0117 you mean as the background behind the windows? That's just stage panels and glass lanterns!

@@Kwano0117 those are also just stage panels, I think I'm ceruleum blue
What did you use to make the triangle garden in the corners?
Grade 2 picture frames!

also is this a small house or apartment ?

what the red rope holding the lanterns from?
Decorative fan, from the vendor!
How do you make the room ceiling higher ?
Higher? You mean the regular ceiling?
@@AkhRhai yea, but nvm, turns out the upper loft is a bit shorter or cmiiw
This looks so pretty, and I was wondering what stuff are you using in the background ;w;

Witch wall did u use for this room?
It's a combination of stage panels, hingan windowed partitions and wood slat partitions. :)
Its so beautiful 😍
Damn, I gotta step it up. Lol
I'm new to FFXIV and I'm so confused... is this first floor? or basement? Why does the room look so big O.o Trying to learn building and the glitching techniques... it's so difficult ㅠㅠ my hat goes off to you!
Why thank you very much 😳❤️
I know housing can be very overwhelming so I recommend to just take your time and put a lot of patience into it, ask all your questions when there's anything you want to understand!
I've built this one in just the top floor of a shirogane small. Why you feel like it's so big is simply a matter of careful layout planning and perspective :> like for example I've chosen to make large vertical color blocks to visually stretch the walls to look higher!
@@AkhRhai Thank you for the reply! ^^
I have a couple of questions, if that's okay... the bed that you have used, which bed is it? I can't find it anywhere O.o (I am on Korean server, which is at 5.5 patch right now, is it a 5.55 item?)... also, I used the similar bed, with a single pillow, but it is glitching a little through the floor?
@@AkhRhai Oh I have 1 more question too. The light that is in the middle of the houses, on the ceiling... there is a way to remove it? O.o or which house frame was this house?
@@Tomru_Tube Of course, questions are welcome!! The bed I’ve used is 2 of the futon mattress, you’ll find them in the rugs section of the housing vendor. I’ve floated them both to be around 1 pixel offset in height and floated just above the flooring mats that makes the upstairs floor. There is unfortunately no way to remove the interior pieces like the chandelier, but if it helps this was made in a shirogane small and the lamp is the smallest oasis one you can also find at the vendor!
@@AkhRhai Thank you so much again! ^^ I should've thought about putting 2 futons together... lol
What are you using for the floor of the loft area?
3 layers of flooring mats dyed soot black!
@@AkhRhai Thank you! I just bought my first house and jumped right in. Figured out the glitch and I have a loft now. Thanks for responding

LMAO yes kind of
How long does it take you to do these?
Depends entirely on the design and how my inspiration is doing. :) If I'm on a roll and everything just clicks I'm probably done in a couple of days, on other occasions it's taken me up to 2 months to finish one. Effective time though, somewhere between 15-25 hours of building for a small I think.
