It's lovely that you get your little grandson involved. My nephew was always obsessed with the hosepipe when he was little. I'd get him to water my plants but he'd always go back to the same plant and drown it!

My little one loves the hosepipe too. I've just made a video where I'm washing the conservatory windows and he's doing the rinsing. I was at high risk of getting soaked that day 😁. Hope you're having a lovely weekend Wendy. Diane x

You are so good at thinking ahead to next season. The set up you have in the greenhouse is really great! You will have so many plants to pop all over the garden next spring. Yay! Very inspirational! What a wonderful activity for a tot to learn how to grow! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌸😀

High there. Yes, I love being in the greenhouse with him. We've just sown some more seeds yesterday so I may add a bit of footage of him sowing his seeds. Hope you're having a lovely weekend. Diane x

Thank you Susie. Hope you and your garden are ok. I was worried that you might get the aftermath of the hurricane. Those poor people. Thinking of you. Diane x

Thank you for sharing. I have hlf shelves in my greenhose. which I had to buy as my husband works long hours and has very little spare time. The trouble with bought shelves, rather than bespoke is that they don't fit as well and couldn't have a complete un of shelving right around the 3 greenhouse sides. I am grateful for the shelving though- especially, like you, I use them for al my growing on. I didn't know that there are whit wallflowers- I have just ordered some seeds- too late for this year but I will have them ready fo 2025. Cheers!Happy gardening 🙂

Hi there. I didn't know you could get white Wallflowers either until my sister bought me one this year for my birthday. It's still flowering now. It sounds like you use your greenhouse as much as I do. I used to use my late father- in- law's greenhouse, before I got my own, and I was always frustrated with the wasted space above the benches; hence the narrow shelves around the top. Like you, I find them invaluable as the greenhouse fills up. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. Happy gardening 😀.

I love your greenhouse Diane, It's beautiful. Where do you sow your seeds if your greenhouse is so full? I have two greenhouses which are packed with tomatoes which are still producing fruits. I do have a potting shed but I do like to sow in the greenhouse where there's lots of light; so I'm just curious where you do with your sewing Diane. Greate video as always thank you.

Hi Julie. At the moment my wallflower seeds are in trays in the cold frames because apparently they like to be kept on the cooler side. The Rudbeckia and Snapdragon seeds are in the greenhouse. I'll be sowing my sweetpeas and Ammi Majus soon and they too will be kept on the benches or those little shelves around the top. They have proved invaluable. I will probably have to bring all of my succulents back into the conservatory for the winter to make more room on the benches. Do let me know what you will be sowing. Do you start flower seeds off in the Autumn to give you a head start next year too?

I will start sowing vegetables now, particularly onions, I grow them from seed, as well as taking care of the vegetable patch as well as the allotment. I tend to grow my flower seeds in the spring, and I grow a lot!!! I also sow sweetcorn , runner beans, and lots of others too. I'll send you a personal message about a plant that I'd like your advice on .@@thedown-to-earthgardener
