All the special eyes, tail beast forms, and Jutsu spam are cool and all, but for a show about ninjas, I just find more enjoyment watching them use hand-to-hand combat, strategies, misdirection, and just a bit of Jutsu. Remember this guy fought the likes of Kakuzu, Obito, Itachi, Pain, Madara, Kaguya and yet not one of them could kill him (against pain kakashi died due to lack of chakra not by the nail). His fights have always been some of the best to watch and hes almost the perfect combination of skill, strength and brains. Kakashi Hatake of the sharingan easily one of the greatest and strongest shinobis to ever live
He also fought top-level Akatsuki members (sometimes two at once) with no transformations like Sasuke's CM2 used to defeat Deidera and Orochimaru or Naruto's Kyuubi used to defeat Pain. For example, against Hashirama level Kakuzu and Hidan he had no transformations or giant chakra samurai, despite that he didn't even use his Mangekyo and still managed to contend against them both at the same time (including Kakuzu's three mask monsters) in base without problem despite being negatively effected by a Sharingan he wasn't compatible with all while having to quickly burn through the little chakra he had saving Team 10. This brilliance is what separates him from other shinobi. It means that if he had the advantages his contemporaries had, he would be in a league of his own since he's able to match one or two of them despite being greatly disadvantaged.

Many charecters in the Naruto verse were nerfed and even killed to please the plot. Kakashi was a guy who already had 2 Chakra natures when he was at the academy. Naruto was in his teens when he mastered his 1st chakra nature. Minato was the fastest guy in the world but he was killed off to call the show Naruto and not Minato. Tobirama literally had 100s of forbidden jutsus up his sleeve. Just 1 of those forbidden jutsus were beating the crap out the 5 great nations. But he was killed by kinkaku force like lmao 🤣. Kishimoto literally did some of these charecters really bad.

yep he is not the strongest compared to mains like arrogant and ignorant kids. but compared with others he is strong and we all know that sharingan constantly drains his chakra so he is like full time under physical and mental exhaustion meaning up until end of the war we dont see 100% kakashi only at the end of the war and maybe boruto we will see 100% kakashi but at the war he was tired and the plot required the mains to shine and kishimoto did a fan service by giving him full susanoo at the final moment to please the readers and audience cuz kakashi was like the pillar of the manga and anime

Kakashi is my favorite character in the anime although I feel like he could have been more powerful had he used all of his *"one thousand jutsu"* but of course this cant happen because the writers dont wont to make him overpowered

Kakashi was a guy who already had 2 Chakra natures when he was at the academy. Naruto was in his teens when he mastered his 1st chakra nature.
Minato was the fastest guy in the world but he was killed off to call the show Naruto and not Minato.
Tobirama literally had 100s of forbidden jutsus up his sleeve. Just 1 of those forbidden jutsus were beating the crap out the 5 great nations. But he was killed by kinkaku force like lmao 🤣.
Kishimoto literally did some of these charecters really bad.

Orochimaru was Kakashi's superior in the Leaf and also intimidated him when he was young so it gave him flashbacks. All of those other people were either randoms or juniors to Kakashi so he didn't fear them like he feared Oro.
