MT-90s power supply issues with 9.6v

I tried using a Roland 9.6v supply on my MT-90s floppy disk jukebox, and it worked fine on playing external midi, but as soon as I tried the floppy drive, THINGS GOT WEIRD.
Bonus: my complete inability to remember the term "voltage regulator"

Seems like the power supply is unable to deliver enough amps to power both the amplifier and the floppy drive. The voltage does not matter too much, it will be regulated to 5V internally. But you might need a power supply with some more mA

Yup! I think that's it. I thought it provided plenty but I think I just misread the adapter. Whoops.
