Beverly Leslie and Ben Doucette are my two favourite guest characters. Both actors played their parts to absolute perfection. R.I.P. to both of these wonderful gentlemen.
I remember how much I loved this show with Gregory Hines in it (I still love this show but Gregory's comedic timing was on point which added a layer of awesomeness to the cast). He was a great talent in this show (as well as in movies). It is a shame that we lost someone so talented who added so much positivity into this world.
Gregory Hines was the true definition of a man capable of doing it all. He could act, sing, and dance. He was a talented brother. There's Nothing Better Than Love is a classic he performed with the great Luther Vandross. R.I.P to Gregory, and Luther.😊
Will&Grace in peak form. Perfect writing, perfect character, perfect set-up where a guest actor actually interacts with all four of them, showing them in a new light. And it all works like a dream cause Hines understood the assignment. You're adding to the regular cast, not promoting yourself and pointlessly trying to steal a scene. Demi, Matt, Ellen, Madonna... They were all cool, but they were THEMSELVES, almost like guest appearing on SNL... Gregory Hines IS Ben Doucette here!
Gregory Hines had the most unbelievable chemistry with every member of the cast. When he hangs out with Jack, when he roasts Karen, when he dates Grace, when he manages Will...oooh it really is a sight to behold. He was so damn funny. 😂
The way Karen was flirting with Gregory Hines was insane but I would probably be the same . He was very easy on the eyes ....one of the Best dancers of all time !
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Gregory Hines. The man was a quadruple threat: singer, dancer, comedic and dramatic actor. He was also very handsome. Love him! Miss him.
I am black have been for almost 44 years in November. I was born and raised in the hood. And still a fan of Will and Grace... RIP GEOGRY HINESSSS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am in awe of this man. He sings, acts and dances all masterfully! 3 independent skills that most people who try just don't have. He wouldn't have done it without a lifetime of hard work, but wow was he a force🥵
This was the beauty of his appearance. You kept asking yourself, “ok when is he gonna tap?” You waited and waited and then when Will cleared the furniture, you knew it was going to happen. You just needed Jack to pay the seed. Brilliant. Made us kept turning in each week to see when the payoff was going to be.
A beautiful and heartwarming video montage of one of our greatest all around talented actor, who left us way too soon. Thanks for this , much appreciated👍👍👍👍👍👍
You listed three things so the inclusion of "both" in your comment doesn't make sense. Please forgive me, I'm bored beyond belief and just scanning the comments.
@@rebeccafreelin7515 Oh, wow! English was one of my favorite subjects so thank you for your years of teaching. Again, please forgive me for taking out my boredom on your comment. 🙏❤️
Never knew Hines was on Will & Grace! Still can't believe he died so early. Had the pleasure of meeting him once at Golds gym he was very nice. He was chatting with Jeff Goldblum and my trainer introducedme to both of them. Saw him perform shortly before he passed. RIP GH 🙏🏽
Jo Marie Payton was a *fabulous* addition to these videos as well. One time Karen said, “I like you” to Jo’s character when she refused to stamp & mail something for Karen 😂
In a show filled with A-list supporting/recurring cast, Gregory Hines was maybe the most inspired casting of them all. I wish he had been able to do more episodes -- he played so brilliantly against the whole cast.
His father was in vaudeville actually and when he had Gregory & his brother, he went from Hines,Hines& Hines to Hines& Sons. Then when it was Gregory & his brother, they were Hines& Hines. His dad was a tap dancer, not a jazz musician.
I have never watched this show, and never knew Gregory Hines was on it. But, I'm going to find it now. He was a highly underrated actor and was amazing on this show.
First time ever a celebrity passed and it affected me like we were related! It broke my heart when Gregory Hines passed and it seemed to come out of nowhere! I was always a big fan but his passing broke my heart. I was only 20 when he passed to.
He fit so well on this show, I love his character. He was an amazing talent. And unconventionally good looking. I watched this show when I was in middle school.
Aww Mr. Gregory Hines. I miss him. Will and Grace was on air when I was little and when I got older I rewatched the show and he came on screen and I said to myself I know that voice and I looked him up and he was Big Bill from Little Bill. He was truly an amazing man. May he rest in peace. ❤️🙏🏾
Yes, I’m glad you posted that. I read that the show runners had plans for a much longer arc with him as Grace’s romance. But his fast illness & death, very sadly, cut that short.
The wit the humor the writing for this was something else… and many recurring guest stars were in the same level as the main cast. Debbie Reynolds of course Leslie and some others…
Omg. Gregory hines was such c a takented guy. The tap dance scene was the best. He was an awesome dancer. He blended was so well with the cast. !!!. Such a great loss to the world. I miss him. Great actor to. All the good ones seem to leave us too soon. RIP SWEETIE. LOVE U. 😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤

Ben Doucette was not his real name
Neither was Beverley Leslie. I'll change my comment to 'characters' so that I don't get any more comments like this. Thanks. @@QueenofWheels
@@22Phantasm I was thinking it was his name because my brain read Leslie Jordan

I miss this man so much. He was iconic at everything he ever did. I was heartbroken when the world lost him.

God bless his legendary soul. Gregory was one of the greatest actors/performers ever. He was a multi talented jack of all trades
What and awesome dancer!
Gregory Hines is that guy I never met but deeply miss.
He was my favorite. I wish he hadn't have died. He was my favorite love interest for Grace

1) Gregory Hines ANYTHING!!!! He made tap sexy!
2) This doesn't mean 2nd place.
The cast of Will & Grace is beyond!❤
He had some real stage presence. Can't take my eyes off him ❤ ❤
What a lovely tribute to clearly lovely and talented man!

Gregory Hines had the most unbelievable chemistry with every member of the cast. When he hangs out with Jack, when he roasts Karen, when he dates Grace, when he manages Will...oooh it really is a sight to behold. He was so damn funny. 😂
He was so smooth and funny. RIP
When Karen roasts him, he would come right back with a roast of her
Indeed he was... I always look forward to a good laugh from him.
Well he was also a talented Broadway performer who won a Tony so acting came natural to him.
@@marshdell So true!
Gregory Hines was a great dancer and actor. Gregory made
Will and Grace more special as
Will ‘s boss Ben.
RIP Gregory.🌹❤️
Gregory was always a favorite of mine. Loved him in this.

He left us too soon. I miss Gregory Hines. He’s unforgettable. 😢😢😢
The chemistry was so good that it doesn't seem like they are acting.

RIP Gregory Hines - this guy was a class act guest starring on this show! He's a hoot with the interactions of Karen LOL.
The way he was able to roast Karen with every line! Absolutely classic
It's the writers of the show you owe your admiration for that
His delivery, inflection, was everything! Love the side glance he does to see if Jack’s still in the bathroom.
