in the anime, the Veetwo and Marsfour armors are equipped to the core gundam that comes with Earthree, meaning that no matter what, you need Earthree for true animation accuracy.
Marketing at its finest! Bandai did a good job in this new series especially the gunplas. They are so good that they can also make you buy almost the full hg set of the series. Well played!
True, and the spares are nice touch to keep them accurate to what you get put of the box. I still hate that the weapons aren't included with the kit. Which looks like that might be the case for all of the Core Gundam Planet System Units.
15:30 And now it's starting to all make sense now. I think I know where they're going with Core Gundam. Probably getting a "Perfect Strike" like upgrade with all weapon packs equiped at once.
there's already mercuone and still more are coming so i doubt all weapons is a possible feat, probably just a combination of sorts or/of specific planets
The real type colors are the colors on Okowara’s original design, which was not used in the final anime because it looked totally alien and was too complicated for its target audience (kids). The toy company that Gundam was working with at the time, Clover, required that the lead mecha be more simple and more like a super robot, and that the colors be more appealing to children (bright colors)
I just got Jupitive and sadly Mercuone comes out afterwards. And the weapons come out a different month so we'll have to wait more time. Mercuone is also just the armor and no Core Gundam which BLOWS!
@@juancollado5539 Well, I had no plan to get the Mercuone, although it being the only one so far not to include the Core Gundam is an odd choice for Bandai. BNuts Season 2 is definitely going to release a better one and a new Core Gundam. Runner B1 for all of them starts with number 6 so there should be plans to change the base model. That, and the kinda show it at the end of season 1. I'm actually stoked to see it and build it too. As depressing as Mercuone is, I did get a second Earthree for it.
@@AmogusEpic where are you shopping that would put it at $20-25? Unless you're counting shipping? Even then, you shouldn't be paying more than $20 and some change.

"...Waiting for Bandai to announce an orange one to round out the lineup." Well, we are getting the dark blue Merkone (from episode 8) in Febuary as a separate armor pack, but January sees what Hobby Link lists as 'Hero Use New Form.' Unfortunately, it's primarily white.
I feel like bandai thinks they are doing us a favor letting use get the weapons we want by splitting them up, but I would rather it just be in the same box for the same price.
I dunno. You could get the kits with the weapons and backpack options for $14-15, which is what it would cost (for a comparison of a kit that comes with a lot of accessories, 00 Seven Swords is around $17 before shipping), or the option of whatever weapons set you want with the particular kit for around the same amount. At first I was a little baffled by this decision, but looking at the prices, it's what you'd be paying for an HG with this amount of accessories anyway, so no BFG
I was planning to get the marsfour gundam only however after watching the veetwo review and found out that the weapons are sold separately, I suspected the same on marsfour. Thanks for the confirmation.
If you consider them as basically extension kits of the earthree it makes sense that you need the earthree beams and rifle to make the set complete, as the other core gundams are just repaints of the original core gundam that you should be using anyway. I imagine the idea is that bandai did so well selling build series expansion sets that they made the main gundam themed as such.
I would've rather they just sell the armors and weapons together and not bothered with the Core Gundam variants. Like, unless we see them in the show, it's kinda superfluous.
Well, I mean, that is an old trick companies have been pulling with color variants for decades now. It relies on the OCD of hardcore collectors, not the average consumer who might not care. So that's the money they're looking to make. So not everyone, but enough modelers to make them money.
I ordered a SD Gundam Kit from HobbyLink Japan in the beginning of October. I’m still waiting for it and it’s almost been 2 solid months. Well past the 6 weeks they said it’d take.
I agree with you. I also expect the kit comes with the swords. That was quite a let down but.... I still gonna get em. I fall in love with this one already. 😍
i just built mine last night, and the big sword can be fitted with the combined backpack. the verniers from veetwo weapon can be slotted on the opposite side, and to make space use the white backpack of the marsfour/veetwo
Marsfour is my favorite version of Planet System so far and I'm definitely getting this. Too bad the weapons are separate but they're cheap so no problem.

in the anime, the Veetwo and Marsfour armors are equipped to the core gundam that comes with Earthree, meaning that no matter what, you need Earthree for true animation accuracy.
Or you can just paint the Core Gundam into the anime accurate color. It's not smart to dump that much money into something are essentially color swaps.
2:45 the actual intended color scheme by Tomino was all pure white hence why Gundam is called the "White Devil", until one of the contractors said it won't be marketable, so they changed the color scheme with the White-Blue-Red-Yellow scheme right away. Unicorn Gundam's color scheme is just fulfilling the intended color scheme of RX-78-2.
if I recall correctly the RX-78-2 was meant to be all white but I forget who did it but they had the colors changed to the iconic colors and the Real Type was just different color for simulations so the Real Type is basically the 00 7 Sword G' Inspection type
I literally just got the core Gundam for the mars unit finished, and I gotta say that it was pretty difficult and time consuming. It took me over 3 1/2 hours to finish it, but it was worth it. The problem was that it was just because it had such small parts. I honestly thought I would’ve broken even just ONE of them they were so small.
PSA: The ball joints in the ankles of the core gundam (might just be the real type, might be all of them) are slightly too wide due to molding lines and can cause stress marks on the back of the ankle. Sand them down a bit while constructing!
You can you the core gundam from the earthree with the mercuone, the the gun with the veetwo, and the spare beam effects with the marsfour and all you're left with is a spare planet system with earth armour

I think considering how the 30 Minute Missions Gunpla can use a ton of weapons from other Gunpla, they kept them seperate so if all you really want is the weapons pack but not the actual Gundam you have that option. It's a lot like the Lightning Gundam from GBF Try and its weapon packs. Also say you want the Mars weapons for some reason with the Earthree then you can do that without having to have the Marsfour Gundam itself same for the other weapons. At least they aren't charging like $20 for the Gundam then another $5 for the weapons that would be crazy lol.
mecha, my marsfour gundam's shoulder part is really loose. it won't fit properly in the marsfour unit and also on the actual core gundam. any ideas to fix it?
Imagining the marsfour using destiny heine orange color backpack + wing effect o.o? Is that possible to do? I mean the back peg and hgce destiny wings?
OOT, which MG is better between Astray Red Frame Kai or Astray Blue Frame Second Revise? especially the ankle articulation (i saw in the manual, they have different mechanic)
Quick ? could this issue of non-accurate core gundam parts because in the anime its all the same core gundam using all the planets systems these other core gundams have issues because they aren't the ones that should be using them? to me they seem like bonus parts and Bandai does not want to repack the same core each time.
Keep in mind in anime he had seen 6 boxes of gear sets so we seen the fourth one already. For underwater combat .... for some reason I hope it comes complete 😅
Everybody here complaining about the weapons being seperate and honestly it propably would have been better if they sold the Core Gundam at a SD size price kit by itself(all 3 variations) and then sold the units WITH their weapons seperately, but then Earththree would be pretty plain because it olny has the shield and the gun so i don't know, just a beginner builder here

At some point I wanna get all three just so I can make a mostly straight built RabbitTank Core Gundam. But if I had to pick *one*, I'd settle for the Marsfour
Marsfour is my favorite gundam re rise figure and core gundam I love it
I think considering how the 30 Minute Missions Gunpla can use a ton of weapons from other Gunpla, they kept them seperate so if all you really want is the weapons pack but not the actual Gundam you have that option. It's a lot like the Lightning Gundam from GBF Try and its weapon packs. Also say you want the Mars weapons for some reason with the Earthree then you can do that without having to have the Marsfour Gundam itself same for the other weapons. At least they aren't charging like $20 for the Gundam then another $5 for the weapons that would be crazy lol.
does the support units fit to any core gundam or they need the specific core gundam they come with inside the box ?
Will there be an EZ-8 review in the near future?
It would be AWESOME if we could get those 3 Gundams in Metal Build form. !!! 🙂
Bandai is releasing two core gundam and that is Mercuryone and a white armor one but theres no name for it yet and they will be released soon
mecha, my marsfour gundam's shoulder part is really loose. it won't fit properly in the marsfour unit and also on the actual core gundam. any ideas to fix it?
Imagining the marsfour using destiny heine orange color backpack + wing effect o.o?
Is that possible to do? I mean the back peg and hgce destiny wings?
got the earthree 2 days ago, probably going to get this one next.
Edit: well nevermind it's fricking expensive now for some reason.
with the hands should also warn people that you can't glue them together if you want to use the weapon packs
I want a Mercone Gundam in RX-78-2 standard colors! Maybe one of the later ones in Full Armor colors.
So when do we get the Core Gundam in MKII Titans colours?
8:55 anyone else think they look like the pillar men from jojo?
AYAYAYAYAYA
Wamuuu
OOT, which MG is better between Astray Red Frame Kai or Astray Blue Frame Second Revise? especially the ankle articulation (i saw in the manual, they have different mechanic)
I'm planning to collect them all and form the Core Gundam Sailor Scouts!
Quick ? could this issue of non-accurate core gundam parts because in the anime its all the same core gundam using all the planets systems these other core gundams have issues because they aren't the ones that should be using them? to me they seem like bonus parts and Bandai does not want to repack the same core each time.
This is my first core gundam
.. soon il buy jupitive unit Hg
Keep in mind in anime he had seen 6 boxes of gear sets so we seen the fourth one already. For underwater combat .... for some reason I hope it comes complete 😅
I would like to see the Core Gundam riding the Machine Rider in one of your videos. I think ought would look cool. Thanks
-sees missing hand- that's why i've officially started to use one core gundam to wear all the armors.
So this entire time, Laser Beak and rumble could have combined into a gundam?
Everybody here complaining about the weapons being seperate and honestly it propably would have been better if they sold the Core Gundam at a SD size price kit by itself(all 3 variations) and then sold the units WITH their weapons seperately, but then Earththree would be pretty plain because it olny has the shield and the gun so i don't know, just a beginner builder here
For some reason I’m good at finding gundam parts that fly onto the floor, I was making the mg kampfer and the eye flew away and I somehow found it.
The most important part for me is how long did it take to get there
For those who are asking if the price is real. It is, i’m in a different country and so, i did the proper math and his price is somewhat close to what i guessed it would be in america or anywhere else so yeah. Its a great deal for $11-$12
