This is by far the best and most informative review regarding these games that I've seen. Thank you for putting this amount of work in the video. These are some of my all time favorite games and sadly they are often overlooked. Fun fact, I first played Bomberman on a DOS PC, it was a port of the PC Engine version and was popular here in Europe. It only supported 4 players in Battle mode and was called Dyna Blaster (due to some controversies at the time).
Thank you very much for the kind words. This was indeed time consuming to put everything together. These are great games and each one added so much more than their predecessors. I was not aware of the DOS version. I just looked at a video of it.
Thanks! There was so much to cover and did not want to leave anything important out. Saturn Bomberman is awesome. I love the interactive features of the stages.
Hey Neo, Thank you for stopping by Mike's channel to see his latest Neo-Geo goodies and the NeoGeoLand Magnet. Glad it was to your liking bro. Seeing that you enjoyed that magnet, I contacted the seller and remit payment to him for you to have. All expense paid and these are custom made by the seller bro. Enjoy. 8^) Maybe if you like, you can make a quick video of it bro. These are on peoples interest list and they all love it. Anthony..
Loved Bomberman ever since I was a kid, thanks for this in-depth review as I'm looking forward to playing Bomberman '93 and '94 for the first time on the TGFX Mini next year!
Bomberman '94 is the best!! Even though the last stages including the boss are INSANLY difficult. I have beaten the first two Bomberman games on the Turbografx, but never the '94 version
Oh you know I'm loving anything with Bomberman on the TG-16 and PC Engine Neo. This will be cool. 8^) Also, SNK is going to unveil the new Neo-Geo hardware soon. I posted the tweet on the thread for you to see bro. 8^) Anthony..
Great in depth review. I'd played some Bomberman before, but I could never figure out what some of the power-ups meant... Thanks for finally explaining all that! Also, I hope this isn't outside of your scope, but any chance of having a follow up Bomberman review that further analyzes/compares the Super Bomberman series, Saturn Bomberman & Neo Bomberman? I think there's at least 5 Super Bomberman games, so if you just wanted to just do the 1st and the 5th, that would be fine. I don't want you to go overboard or anything 😅, but I've always been curious how all those classic Bombermen stack up to each other.
Bomberman is one of the most underappreciated retro series, and he was at his best on the TG-16. Thanks for this thorough review!
Thanks man. The Bomberman games on this system are loads of fun and I noticed that there aren't too many videos that cover these games in detail.
Very good video on this great Hudson soft series on the PC Engine ! Great job !
Thanks a lot. Bomberman is a fun series and helped define the TurboGrafx/PC Engine's library.

Wow, now this is a review. You covered so much info. Mind blown.
I am most familiar with Saturn Bomberman, which is where Bomberman peaked

You are very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed this video and I hope you have fun with Bomberman '93 & '94.
Great review very detailed thanks!
Great review very informative also great gameplay👏👏👏
Thanks. There was so much to cover, I knew that this was going to be a big one.
So that's what the bomb with the lines power-up does. Thanks for the informative video.
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
my worst enemy in bomberman is always myself. Trapping myself or getting impatient with trapping enemies is almost always how I die lol
I've done that myself many, many times. I always kick myself for doing that 😛

I really like the changes made in '94. It's my favorite of the bunch. My goodness that last level is unforgiving.
Awesome review man!
Thanks Mark! It' was a challenge and a blast to do this video.

Thanks Anthony! I will keep an eye out for that SNkK announcement.
Hey Neo,
The magnet was just mailed out today. 8^)

Thank you very much for watching. I don't have any of the Super Bomberman games, but I would like to an in depth review of Saturn Bomberman some day.
Is bomberman 1 the only one with AI on the multiplayer mode?
Only the first TurboGrafx/PC Engine Bomberman does not have CPU controlled players in the Battle Mode.
@@NeoTurboManiac78 9:27 I'm confused isn't that the first bomberman shown? Rather than 93 and 94?
@@steve5123456789 I'm sorry for the delayed reply, yes that is the Battle Mode of the first TG-16/PC Engine Bomberman.
