- Today we go visit Pha Hi village in Chiang Rai. Pha Hi is the very beautiful mountain village where Akha people live. The perfect place for relaxing, and we can enjoy seeing the sea of clouds, which is amazing ! We went there in the rainy season.
They grow coffee plant so we can enjoy delicious coffee as well !
We rented car and went there from Chiang Rai city. To get there, there’re 2 roads, 1149（new）and 1388（old）. We used the road, 1149, which is new and safer.

beautiful. do tourist need to drive car to get there?
Thank you very much for watching our movie ❤️we heard we have some options to go to Pha Hi village, like, we can hire songthew truck in Mae Sai, or we can ask hotels if they can arrange the car to go there.
In our case, at first we had a plan to go to the village from Mae Sai, and we asked the hotel we stayed in the village if they can arrange the car to take us to the village from Mae Sai. They said yes, and we were told that they can pick us up at the bus station in Mae Sai, and it’d cost 1600 THB for return trip, and also, from the airport, it’d cost 2800-3000 THB, so after we thinking, we decided to rent the car in Chiang Rai city since we wanted to go to Mae Salong as well.
So I think we can go to Pha Hi village without driving the cars. If you have more questions, pls ask us anytime 🙏

What is the temperature if it is fully covered with clouds?
At that time, probably around 21, 22 degrees. I felt a little cold in the morning. Lately cold season has started so it might be colder now. thank you very much for watching our movie❤️
