Gotta love this guy’s chaotic and fun energy :) #aliceinchains #mikestarr This was made for entertainment purposes, I do not own any of the clips in this video.
mike Starr and cliff Burton and rex brown are my 3 most favorite bassist of all time Rest in peace these 2 legends and you can't forget about Layne Staley Rest in peace again absolute mothafucken legends. 😎
God his bass tone was nasty ASF and i love it , had no idea he played with his fingers most of the time, would've thought you needed a pick to get that nasty type of sound, we all miss him 😢😢 him and Layne.
Mike should have gotten work on TV as was bloody brilliant at interviews, could see it from both his energy and executing...He was s funny feicer too with a beautiful soul can see why the 2 connected so well...i say that about work on TV but really he should not have lost his place on Aic
He was just experimenting with it. He wasn't a user. None of them were. Alice was a project of the Stanley's. It all makes sense if you look at it in that light. Remember Layne getting upset at him for using diazapan, but Layne is supposed to be doing speed balls at the same time?? Come on man: Use some critical thinking, please!!
@@criskatan Come again? Use critical thinking? Mike was a hardcore user when they kicked him out. So was Layne. Just because they could get up and sing/play has nothing to do with them using. Just because people are functioning doesn’t mean they don’t use heavy hard core drugs, which make me believe you don’t really know much about it (good). Have you seen what Layne looked like during his last show with Starr? He looks and sings like Shit. Why? They had been up for days shooting drugs. Coke and Heroin, Dilauded. Your theory makes zero sense to me but what I do know is that no one was clean during the early years. I am sorry to say.
i've looked everywhere.. where is that 1st clip from? The bass sounds so good and i know there is an awesome shot of Mike playing Man in the Box.. but i just can't find the show.
someone can help me maybe what it was about at 3:44 when they say "a lot of Depeche Mode" Just because Layne and Dave Gahan are two of my favorite singers. Where can I find the full interview? I know they're just having fun, but I'm interested to know why the band was mentioned. So far I haven't found common ground between them... the only thing I know is that Dave loved AIC in his junkie years 93' - 96' . Thanks in advance!
Aic had the greatest hair!
Agreed 100%
No just amazing songs don’t get stuck on not important stuff like that, feel man
The hair game was very strong for all of them
Layne won that. He couldn’t go wrong:).
Mike gave everyone HAIR GOALS
He was so pretty
Gay
@@l.hbravo8828 how tho?
he was attracted to minors
One of the greatest bassists of all time ❤️
A very underatted bassist and seemed like a very chill and funny guy.
Also yeah he was gorgeous can't lie, RIP
R.I.P. Layne and Mike... I miss the magic these guys had before they became consumed with their addictions.
Mike was a funny fuckin soul, same to say about Lyane .. I'm proud to have been a part of AIC's history being a roadie for many years. Jeff Hubbard
What was the cause of this Man's death

Best afterlife supergroup:
Layne: vocals
Mike Starr: Bass
Cliff Burton: Bass
Dimebag: Guitar
Vinnie Paul: Drums
His talent and personality will always be remembered through the music that AIC has gifted the world with.
he is so silly
Was so silly
These guys were the best even through the pain
The charisma and talent of AIC will forever be unmatched.
Thank you for this video! 🖤
4:35 LORD HAVE MERCY THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING THIS
Ik..
Mike Starr THE BEST and One and Only !!!
Watching AIC live was amazing enough, but then you got the bonus Mike Star show😂❤
God his bass tone was nasty ASF and i love it , had no idea he played with his fingers most of the time, would've thought you needed a pick to get that nasty type of sound, we all miss him 😢😢 him and Layne.
Mikes bass tone was the best
Mike must have had the most powerful right leg❤❤❤
He definitely DID
Best video on UA-cam

He enjoyed what he was doing.
I love Mike’s L7 shirt in the first clip❤️

Oh my God yes the hair I could just lay in it for weeks

I’ll never forget that concert!
Mike was probably the prettiest guy from the grunge scene ..well next to Eddie !
Hardest baselines ever until korn came out with fieldy beating on that bass…
This is badass. ThNk you

It is crazy that the kicked him out of the band and didn’t tell him to get treatment and come back. So odd.

@@HildeAzul Look: I know what to make of the whole narrative because I'm looking at it from a different angle. A lot of it doesn't pan out. Sorry.
@@criskatanUmm the Stanley's? Both Layne and Mike were very much hard core addicts. Stop
@@criskatanNo it sure didn't (pan out). It led to the deaths of both of them.

He got such a raw deal, I'm trying to like Jerry Cantrell, I'm struggling to be honest...
Never like Jerry Cantrell or Alice in Chains after they kick Mike Starr out
mike was piece of shit who didn’t even contribute too the music making. cry.
Same here guy's. After that Layne was never the same... Yeah addiction played big role but when they kick Mike everything changed
I lost a lot of respect for Jerry. Just not cool. How about “get your ass in rehab & come back when your well” ??
MY DAMN PIECE OF SHIT PHONE WILL NOT LET ME POST A DAMN COMMENT R.I.P BEAUTIFUL ONE YOU WERE AMAZING.
At 1:10 the was Sean moaning I’m pretty sure are layne was playing drum
