When I finished the process I didn't have the Active Directory-Integrated Primary DNS Zones. I already had the DNS Server installed, with a primary and reverse lookup zones already configured. What do i do, delete the zones and make a Integrated Primary DNS Zones manually?

Check the DNS zone properties. Attempt to change the zone type from Standard to Active Directory Integrated.

Why you add the DNS records, is it a mandatory step in real time environment

It is not mandatory but I used to add. If pointer record is not added and you run nslookup, you will receive error as DNS servers IP to name can not be resolved. But this will doesn't effect DNS name resolution. DNS name resolution will work normally.
