6:28 That's my favourite thing about Eminem in terms of technicalities. The layers of entendres and homophones tell a story in the most creative way with idioms and metaphors that are beautifully constructed in verses. He uses words that no one might guess to exist in a song cause of his immeasurable talent of rightfully dropping vocabularies in unexpected spots, but they still perfectly fit. With all such linguistic chaos, he brings in flow patterns that omit or sped up the enunciations that fit into the pockets he chooses. His rhyme schemes are impeccable and make one wonder how he can make words rhyme when they are never meant to. This is the reason I prefer the "Eminem" personality over "Slim Shady" and "Marshall". And it makes me more of a fan to his newer bar-heavy stuff than his older ones, which is a unique preference over Eminem's discography.
Crazy triple hidden in there! "Brain full of wit, dangerous, can’t extinguish this English language when it’s lit" Three separate senses of “lit” make this line a triple entendre: You can’t extinguish it once it’s lit (ignited). This part is reminiscent of a line from his verse on “Forever”. “Lit” is a common abbreviation for literature, signifying Em’s interest in the language on an academic level. He’s saying he can’t turn off his brain once it starts to perform feats in literature. “Lit” is also slang for cool or exciting.

Em in concert is an AMAZING thing. I was lucky enough to go see him in Honolulu a couple years back. 100,000% bucket list. Front row, listening to Stan, White America and Sing for the Moment in the pouring rain. One of the best experiences I've ever had.

The song is super motivating and will definitely have a longer life than the video will. Not just the crowd giving him the chance, but the crowd giving him the "chants". Hey Unk, hope all is well. 🔥 as always. Lil sidenote about this video. He's paying homage to 1 of his earliest inspirations & faves LL Cool J. Parts of this video is just like LL's Momma Said Knock you out video. Even when the kid is sitting on the bed, on the black and white t.v. behind him, L.L.'s original video is playing in the background. Em's always paying homage to the og's & legends that cane before him & inspired him. You'll also notice Em has been wearing a thick gold rope for yrs. He was reaching out to L.L. to see who made the iconic 1 that L.L. wore/wears. L.L. found out & gifted Em with 1. He also had Em perform with him last yr when L.L. was inducted into the Rock & Roll H.O.F. ✌️
I hope you don’t get deterred from doing your Eminem reactions. I suffer with mental health and fibromyalgia. So days like today where the fibro has flared up and I’m in a lot of pain and feeling really down. Your reactions help more than you could realise. Thanks so much! Hope you enjoyed! Be sure to check out Aurora's songs on the channel as she is pretty incredible. Murder 5,4,3,1,2 and Runaway are really great!
I love that in the music video, when the TV screen shows loads of people singing the chorus they're fans who sent in a clip of them doing it, anyone could've sent in a clip to be used for those sections
I'm glad to see you giving this side of music a chance. In one of your videos I watched you said you are Christian. If I'm wrong sorry but i know as someone who was religious, it can be hard to see other things in ways you wouldn't think. One song from Joyner called devils work. I would love to see your thoughts on the message. Warning I would recommend the censored version but the message is still loud and clear. Your son might able to explain why.
I’m dying, I’m stealing his Opinion comment, when I can say it seamlessly in my delivery 🤷🏼♀️ I saw Eminem at the Peachtree Festival in Atlanta (2014)💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼. Love The Marshall Mathers reactions keep going he has so much content out there it's crazy true goats when I say goats that's Marshall Mathers Eminem Slim Shady he's fighting himself cuz he already took down everyone else
One difference with rap and other genres is that rap is a competitive sport. How good is your pen on paper compared to others? Show your greatness or back down. Stand up and defend against these youngsters who look at you like lunch.
side note you may get to witness Em go to war being that a former artist of his and Dr.Dre known as "The Game" has been doing a press run about how he's preparing to go at Em. Em will win for sure but The Game may be his best opponent yet because the game is definitely in that top tier lyricists category

Hi. 2nd reaction on my part. My humble opinion on why you're inclined to react to Eminem's songs. Just as Eminem, who is always living in victory, when we decide to get on board with him, we do it because we know, for sure, as he's reached his victory, we'll also reach ours!!! Hard to let go!!! He is a universityl! His world is so huge!!! In such a way that we truly believe we can all fit in it!! And yes, we do fit in it. How? It's a personalized experience! We trust him! We are not afraid!!! Now with "Higher", again, he takes us in this wonderful ride in which we'll go higher than we've ever gone before! No matter the demons we'll have to fight, he made it, and so are we!!! No matter what nor who, we will make it higher than ever before! Obstacles? What's good about them, they just don't matter! To bad you weren't a reactor for the time when this video was done. All the ones in the boxes are reactors choosen by his team to be part of the video. Incredible! You deserve to be there. You're one of the best. I went to, "Higher" reaction, there I found many if them. It's kind of cute, them saying, look at me, I'm in one of the boxes!

This song is so hype, one of my staple gym-ing / workout songs, along with ’Till I Collapse(2002) , Kings Never Die (2015), Not Afraid (2010), Venom (2018) ... so many more now that i realize haha. They give me that sudden burst of adrenaline, that one more push / one more rep / one more set.... haha this man is with us when we are down, when we are pushing to better ourselves mentally/physically/personality and there always to give us a good laugh too.
Nice, thanks for this!
3:46 When he says "I'll flip it around and have the crowd give me the chance" it's a double entendre because it also sounds like chants
Love this track!
I loved seeing you catch that double about “more patents than I can admit”. You very nearly missed it but caught it when you rewound it! Love that!!
Keep em coming!!! ❤️❤️
Thanks Steve!
Yay! My request!!!
That was quick!
@@larryshair as soon as I saw the notice I dropped my adulting to watch! This is one of my motivational anthems. Never apologize for covering Em a lot. If other followers are anything like me, they just truly appreciate your thoughtful, insightful reactions. Your reaction style is such a good match with Ems powerful meaning and doubles. Thanks so much. This made my (somewhat cruddy) day.
@eminem I think, given all the heart and thought you put into your craft, you would appreciate @larryshair reactions.
@@stephaniecornwell8766 aww, no need to call him out. I’m pretty small time. I appreciate you tryin!
@@stephaniecornwell8766 I’m so sorry you had a cruddy day! I hate those! You made my day though!
I was blessed to see Em with D12& 50 with GUnit..it was amazing
Your doing a great job. I know your swamped with requests from all your followers but I would love to see you react to Going through changes off the Recovery album. Keep up the good work your doing great on catching doubles and picking up on the overall story of his tracks. You will see him in concert he likes to perform in California Detroit and New York. Take care buddy I'll be here on the next reaction to Em
You finally did it, ive been askin for a while now
It's my dream to see him in concert just once before I go! Larry....you will not be the oldest man there! lol. My Mom is in her 70's and loves Eminem!!! My prim & proper Mother...Loves him! Go figure...no one was more surprised than I was! lol Anytime Eminem is on TV she records it...calls me about it...then I have to go to her house and watch it with her! lol. I love it when Em says the guys opinion doesn't matter!!!
I love that!
@@AnjeannetteMarie-Swifie4Ever My Mom is a huge fan of his! lol. She's about 4'11"...and a ball of energy! lol.
That's incredible! LOVE that!
Love your reactions! Your energy reminds me of Phil Dunphy in Modern Family 🤣 Keep the Eminem reactions coming!
I want larry to have at least 1 million subs by 2024
Boy! That's a tall order! I can't even begin to imagine.
@@larryshair you are easily the nicest youtuber I've seen in years. You deserve it!
@@TheBlaqSpiderman tha is so much! You’re so very kind!
10:13 this is a reference to the old times when em used to use handkerchief and a double, "dre he knows i'ma blow" (nose, i'ma blow) so get the handkerchief
🤯
Larry...here I am, commenting, again lol...sadly, in the last 20yrs, any kind of big tour is all but unheard of from Em. He performs for his city of Detroit more than anything and then second, I'd say internationally...I will catch a show before he retires. He keeps getting better IMO
I MUST see him in concert. Or at the very least, catch him passing by someday...
I've seen him live 3 times...the atmosphere in his presence is like no other. Honestly in the presence of God lol
Someone's rich ⬆️
You sound like a child saying that. God? I'm not even religious, but that is childish to say.
@@MrfuckinBeilke no was only around 100 dollars a ticket.
@@Ge0rge_0rwell best thing about your opinion is it doesn't matter
Luck sob lol
i have forgot how great this song was, thanks to you
Have the crowd give me the (chance/chants)
Em is creative and sneaky with his word play. loved this reaction 💙
Hopefully I can make a large wager on sports betting for Shady to win..
Had this on in the car and my 75 year old father was bopping his head to it. The beat is fire.
LOL Larry. I Love that you used Sing for the Moment as your rock song example...because Eminem samples it *for the beat in one of his tracks(of course)! Hah!
Thank you so much for reacting to higher! I requested it one time and I am very happy to see you reacted to it and loved the song! it is one of my favorites and how hard and good that hook is thank you and god bless!
Eminem-- warning shot
Eminem- difficult
Seriously two great songs by him pleaseeee lol
Also my darling-Eminem
✌️
One of my favorite (new) songs from him! Thanks for the reaction!
Thanks Matthew!
I hope you don’t get deterred from doing your Eminem reactions. I suffer with mental health and fibromyalgia. So days like today where the fibro has flared up and I’m in a lot of pain and feeling really down. Your reactions help more than you could realise. When you react to Eminem your joy is infectious and I can’t help but get the biggest smile on my face, especially when you catch a bar or get really moved by the meaning of the song or the bar. So I just wanted to let you know in the hope you don’t feel like you need to take your foot off the gas. I guarantee you don’t help just me with these reactions. Much love
Wow, thank you so very much! That means so very much to me. I'm so sorry you have this struggle. One of our dear friends has the same situation and it's no joke. Praying for you my friend.
@@larryshair thank you it means a lot. It definitely is tough. There isn’t much awareness for it either which doesn’t help the situation. That’s why things like your reactions are so important. You never know who’s day your brightening. 😊
I've seen Eminem live 2. Both in the UK. Its an experience i shall never forget
Absolutely amazing 👏
This video was a shout out to LL Cool J's mama said knock you out and the part where em is in his bedroom the video to it is on the tv hes got huge respect for LL and even singles him out during his rock and roll hall of fame induction speech
The music video was also marketing for the UFC video game when it came out which is why he did the whole fighter style video!
no regrets - eminem is another close to the heart one
GUESS WHO DROPPED NEW SONG 😀 WITH SNOOP a few hours ago
The more eminem you do the more views u will get lol Stan's will look after u 👍👍🤣
"Mention me, millions of views.." 😂
As someone who works in an Emergency Room, that
"how an overcrowded hospital waiting room'll get,
what I mean is maybe I have more patients (patience) than I'm able to admit" bar is extra 🔥🔥🔥
😆
Not a lot of people have enjoyed the true lyrical masterpiece of the demo version of lose yourself by Eminem. It’s on UA-cam!! That would be the coolest reaction, love all your videos even the non em ones.
I just binge watched all of your rap reactions. I loved watching you grow to love Em the way so many of us do. Your reactions are the most genuine I've ever seen. You have so many more great songs to hear still.
My suggestions would be:
Lucky You -Em & Joyner Lucas
Love the way you lie - Em & Rhianna
My Dad's Gone Crazy
Homicide - Em & Logic (this is one of the few songs that I would suggest not watching the music video the first time, just listen to the song)
Moon man and Slim Shady - Em & Kid Kudi
Killer
My Name Is
Drug Ballad
Gnat
Zeus
Renegade - JayZ and Em
And then there's a couple of songs he did with his group D12:
How Come
Fight Music
I could go on for days, but these are some of my favorites. 😀
EM ask fans to send a video singing the chorus and That's Really cool 💯
You feel like you know him it's amazing 🐐☘️🐐
I'm glad to see you giving this side of music a chance. In one of your videos I watched you said you are Christian. If I'm wrong sorry but i know as someone who was religious, it can be hard to see other things in ways you wouldn't think. One song from Joyner called devils work. I would love to see your thoughts on the message. Warning I would recommend the censored version but the message is still loud and clear. Your son might able to explain why.
3:45 I think he says "I'll have the crowd give me the chants" like how they're chanting Shady in the background
Nice catch, Gary!
I’m dying, I’m stealing his Opinion comment, when I can say it seamlessly in my delivery 🤷🏼♀️
I saw Eminem at the Peachtree Festival in Atlanta (2014)💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼. When the billowing curtain fell perfectly with Eminem emerging from the smoke… The 8 mile beat going… I cried like he was freaking Elvis… 3 times😂😂😂 I’m with you, if ‘Em does another tour, I will take money out of my retirement account to go with my son😊 I’m 62… I don’t care if I’m 82! We will be right there in the VIP section.
I’m so happy my son introduced me to you🙂 Thank you for what you do! You are such a kind man.
Thank you so much for your very kind words! You and I will be there side by side in that VIP section...
You can double click the left or right side of the screen to go backwards or forward by ten seconds.
Cool little skit. It’s Em trademarks. Always entertaining.
Always here to see Eminem content
Great video once again, your channel helps so many people make their day better! I’d love to see your reaction to ‘Til I collapse’, it’s one of his greatest songs you haven’t covered yet!!
Thanks SD!!
25 to life please
I had the chance to see him at Comerica Park in Detroit during the monster tour with Rihanna back in 2014. Greatest show.
The UFC asked Em to right a song for the UFC fights and this is it🐐☘️👍
Larry, as your hopeful Eminem-aid(🙃), never apologize for anything you react to! It's all about discovery and there are 'arcs' to go through... also, Em will help you grow more, overall, than likely anything else.
It's the "CADENCE" word you needed... 🤣
Can't get enough of Eminem reactions dude 🔥👌😃🎶🎶🎶
Love The Marshall Mathers reactions keep going he has so much content out there it's crazy true goats when I say goats that's Marshall Mathers Eminem Slim Shady he's fighting himself cuz he already took down everyone else
Do believe or evil deeds . 2 of my favorites
My first concert was Eminem and Rihanna at Comerica Park in Detroit. It was an incredible experience
Eminem idolizes the rapper LL Cool j. the music video to this song is playing homage to LL Cool J's song "Mama Said knock You out"
You HAVE to see him in concert! I’ve seen him twice (once with D12) and there is no one better. The guy puts on an amazing show.
One difference with rap and other genres is that rap is a competitive sport. How good is your pen on paper compared to others? Show your greatness or back down. Stand up and defend against these youngsters who look at you like lunch.
Kinda bittersweet that you found him so late in his career... he doesn't leave his crib anymore except to the studio or wherever he's agreed to go..
It’s always nice to see another video posted from this awesome man
side note you may get to witness Em go to war being that a former artist of his and Dr.Dre known as "The Game" has been doing a press run about how he's preparing to go at Em. Em will win for sure but The Game may be his best opponent yet because the game is definitely in that top tier lyricists category
Let’s all meet up with Chris at Mom’s Spaghetti!!!!
Man, I'd be game if I lived nearby! Perhaps I should have a meet at a local place here sometime...
@@larryshair except I’m in Alaska unfortunately. I could use an escape though…plan away!
React to “Love The Way You Lie” pleaseeeeeeee
Hello Buddy 🙂 I think you should be standing in this one. Standing in the Stan's fans' stance.
IKR? Great bar, right there! And another great reaction, sitting down 🙂 TC!
lol, thanks Pool! Hope all is well on your side!
Oh shit I see ya Larry lol....you went pass the double on the hospital and patients then went back for the 3 legged table double and boom the 💡lit up and you caught it....good shit keep it up
lol, thanks Shoe!
I'd love to see him. If he ever hits Buffalo I'm in for sure. Love your reactions bro
Hey Chris you know my favorite parts of your reactions is the face you make whenever you catch a double it's almost like you can't believe you caught the bars good job
lol, it's become kind of a game to me. Once I learned how heavily he drips 2nd's all over the place has turned this into a hide a seek endeavor...
