I think Chuck must be extremely proud to see the performances of his former musicians and friends. Special mention to Max Phelps, he is just amazing vocally and technically on guitar. good job guys
Bobby Koelble is fantastic. Not only is he an excellent guitarist, but he's a genuine fan of Death's music - just watch how much he's into the music, singing along to the lyrics too. And man it's so great to see Steve D flexing his bass skills live - I feel that he doesn't utilize his full potential in Testament sometimes. Chuck really brought out the best of every musician that played with him.

She promptly replied and promised me a pick of his. And after around 2 weeks, a hand written card has arrived at my postal address which had Chuck's pick taped inside it and a few sincere lines written by Mrs Jane Schuldiner. It's a classic Dunlop Tortex green pick that's heavily worn out 🙂 I'm keeping it in its small original envelope which was sent from Florida, Tampa, Altamonte Springs. With this occassion, I would like to thank this great musician's mother for making a promise and keeping it even when it was the hardest times of her life. 🙏🙇🏻♂️

Holy fuck, i am seeing and hearing Chuck. This guy is awesome. Such a great perfomance of the entire band. I am a huge Death fan and this performance really does Chuck proper justice and honor. This is so fucking good, i can’t get enough of it.
At first I thought it would be just a cash-machine playing Death tracks and making money on nostalgia. Turns out it's one of the best "legacy keepers" bands out there. Tremendous performances, long setlists, passionate musicians and Max is perfect guy to replace Chuck. So glad I saw them live and without any doubt I'll go to every Death DTA show when possible. Huge respect to them.

If you use the 'fretless techniques' like the long slides guys do on them, you could pretty much play them like a normal bass. But why play fretless if you arne't going to use it for its features? Phelps really brought Chuck back to life in this performance. Such a tight performance this was. If not for that sound fuck up during Symbolic, this was just another level.
