Honestly I feel the main characters are top priority but seeing these deep cuts is fun. They have good shelf appeal and it shows NECA does their homework. That said, with better distribution afoot, can we get more wide releases of some of the earlier figures? Shredder, Krang, April with a resized head, Bebop and Rocksteady, etc?
I didn't want them all, then they kept coming out and looking so good. I've got all of them at this point, I may get more selective depending how deep they dig into the characters.
QOTD: I am enjoying the deep cuts from this line. Mostly the mutant types, but the Neutrinos were part of the original mini series which was aired a ton in my area so I saw them a lot and was happy to add them to the collection. My yellow guy has really loose ankles though and is a pain to stand even with the little acrylic disc, but oh well. As for the other question, I can take or leave the two-tone shading. I wish they did actual cel-shading for this line (like they did for Chrome Dome or the comic Fugitoid) because NECA has shown they can do it really well unlike some other giant toy companies. I'm just glad they're still committed to actually painting figures because so many other companies seem to be backing off of that and I like paint on my toys.

The only figure I ended up keeping from this wave was Usagi, the rest I traded or returned. These guys are a bit steep at $75, but probably not getting any cheaper with clearance or aftermarket. They look amazing, I have heard quite a few complaints these guys hate to stay standing for too long. I'll hold out for a set designed to be posed in a seated position with one of their spaceship hot rods.

I don't collect neca turtles but recently they are very easily found in stores. They are very abundant where I live now and that's great
Target screwed up my order on this and I passed on the set I saw in store before finding that out, hopefully they do actually restock them.

the hair on the yellow guy is 100% accurate to how it was in the cartoon. Nice to see them go the extra mile :)

Im glad im not a tmnt fan. All of these figs look great and i spend enough on alien, predator and the occasional mythic legions.
I just get the ones that I want. I still have an episode with these guys on VHS so they were a must for me.

On yellow guy, the two tone hair isn't shading, it's two tone in the 'toon and the shading is a different colour.

I would love for NECA to start making figures from the 2003 cartoon. That's what I grew up on and I feel it to be the best TMNT series there is.
