wonderful video - can this technique be used on dark wood dresser ? Where I can begin the sponge technique with some lighter colors ? leaving the dark brown coming through ? Please let me know what glazes to use -- I would like some copper and a bit of turquoise to come through?
I love your videos and thank you for sharing these wonderful technics. I think this is an art and shows so much talent. Keep on sharing your amazing talent☺
Love your technique and would love to do my countertops in exactly the same colors. Can you please tell me the exact product of classic walls acrylic glaze and paints you used. Thanks!
Donna K for counter tops you should prime with Zinsser (manufacturer) bin (product) alcohol based, that will hold the best, use two coats with a 3/8 inch nap roller. For a countertop I would not use classic walls glaze I would use our scumble glaze, much more durable. the colors jet black, ruby, and Mikado are from Martin senior paints. Base color is candlestick from Martin Senior. I would apply Rust-Oleum® EPOXYSHIELD® Premium Clear Coating , then apply a couple coats of butcher wax. this will last for years and look great.
Hi your painting technique is awesome! It seems like after you were layering the colours that you pushed the sponge harder...? Did you use the same sponging technique throughout? They way it blends is beautiful and I really would like to do this to my counters..:)
@Michelelunow system wont let me reply directly. I use a moderate to light pressure, to little pressure and you don't get the color blending, to much pressure and it over blends and looks muddy. I used the lightest pressure n the first color and all colors are blended wet into wet
that's odd, what you see is pretty much what it looks like. I had no idea what caused that but thanks for pointing it out and I will see what I can do to fix the issue.

I am interested in what you were saying about being able to paint over a tiled floor. Do you have a video on that? Thank you.
When are you going to put up some more faux finish tutorials? I have watched all of the ones you have atleast 3 times, lol.
Hi, thanks for watching, I'll have new ones up next week. I'm filming today and tomorrow

Love your tutorials - unfortunately, this one blacks out at 12:39 (voice only) so we do not get to see the finished product. Thanks, though
