I signed my contract as soon as I possibly could. Straight out after school. I'll do this job till it kills me and then I'll keep right on fighting for freedom and liberty. Hooyah.
Hooyah sailor I was a salty gm and that's sweet music to My ears. You got the salt. I did a Navy cadence song myself the beginning with cadence never leaves you honor courage and commitment for ever
I’m 14 and a freshman in JROTC. I plan to join the air force and become a field medic so I love seeing women in the military. You’re really talented, thank you for serving our country and clearly entertaining it as well! ;)
Butterfly Simmer thank you so much! What a great goal you have! Keep your mind focused and towards you dreams and ambitions! You'll do great. Best of luck to you!
This sure does take me back. I had a TBI a few years back and lost most of my memory/memories. I could only remember two or three of the verses of this cadence. Thank you for giving this back to me. It has made some memories slightly less hazy and thats a gift for sure.
I am also a 16 year old U.S Naval Sea Cadet, I truly appreciate your beautiful cadence and your wonderful american idol voice. Thank you for your service and dedication for our glorious country. Its the men and women like you that make me want to serve my country even more proudly. And my goal is if i cant be the next U.S Navy Admiral is to become Captain of a Destroyer or battleship under my command. I wish you fair winds and travelling seas and may god protect you wherever you may fight. U.S NAVY HOO YAH.
We don't use Battleships anymore. They were retired for the DD and DDGs. Plus you really want to get the CG Captain slot, CGs get cushier missions usually ending being diplomatic vessels with political guests.
Thank you for your service. I'm reenlisting soon (navy this time) and I sure wished I would have had someone doing cadences like this. It would have made marches much more enjoyable.
I'm a Navy Sea Cadet and I'm 13 years old. I'm a girl also. It was a huge pleasure to watch you do this video, bc you're the first girl I have seen on youtube in the Navy. not to mention your also gorgeous. I have a plan for my future, that involves the navy. I want to go to Anapolis,Naval Academy, and become a Navy field medic. if that doesn't happen I'm going striaght into the Navy from high school. although I still have a long time to go 4 years I'm in 8 th grade, I am stoked to see someone like wen you in our Navy. thank you for your service ma'am.
Morgan, that is great to hear!! Thank you so much for the kind words! Sounds like you are headed down the right path!! You are so young and already have a great attitude and determination!! Never let ANYONE take that from you! No matter what anyone says, follow your heart. You can accomplish anything you choose if you truly want it!! I wish you all the best of luck my dear!! Happy New Year!
Fazzinator thank you! You have no idea how much it means to me that a soldier in the Navy replied to me. I'm freaking out. You have a beautiful voice. I will, and if they try I won't give up without a fight. Ma'am this may be a comment to you or something like that, but this comment is the world to me. Thank you so much I never really though you would reply. Ok I need to calm down haha. HOOYAH NAVY!!
+Morgan Roberts haha you have made my day! Keep working hard, make the right choices, and you will be where you want to be in no time!! Take care love.
+Morgan Roberts I am 32. I was also a sea cadet. I was also a Navy Hospital Corpsman. Women's roles are changing more now than the last 241 years.. I wish you luck and I advise anyone to go Navy. Start working now to get into Annapolis. Make sure you get good grades, do sports, volunteer work. Start talking to your elected representative (Senator, congressperson). You must have a recommendation and they make you work for it. I have an 11 year old daughter. You have a very good head on your shoulders to be so determined. Do your research. Women will be able to be SEALs/SWCC very soon. Best of luck!
Thanks for sharing this Shipmate! I loved it. Had me singing along reminiscing on my "A" school days. Never stop singing lady, never stop singing. Hoooooo YAH! IYAOYAS!!!
Idk if I’d be going around proclaiming “If you are ordnance your ASVAB sucks!!!” But hey that’s just me lol (I kid, I kid!!!). ~ Your friendly neighborhood Aviation Electronics Technician.
I’m from Austrailia current AAFC cadet I plan on join the ran or any other service in the adf and just seeing people seeming to enjoy themselves in the military I find it really shows that the military is a good job if you don’t like being at a desk and stuff it’s also great your showing the cadence it’s really interesting hearing all the cadences of other countries instead of LEFT LEFT LEFT RIGHT LEFT orb waltzing Matilda because that basically it here
Im joinin in 3 years, hoping to become an Corpsman get involved with FMF. Im not quite sure how that works, but I dont want to be in a hospital. Do recruit still get yelled at like you see in the marines? I was actually looking forward to that.
ZachYourSupremeOverlord I was an HM active duty for 5 years...boot camp and the yelling question...it depends upon who your RDC is. Some yell, some just get really quiet and you know a storm is coming but not on the same level as the Marines that's for sure. FMF is one NEC out of dozens so do some research on HM NEC'S (basically a specialty somewhere in the medical community....physical therapy tech, x-ray tech, surgical tech, etc... and find what you like the most before you just jump into anything.
honestly. Your first few days will suck. Your first wrek or so will be rough but once you move ships and get a regular schedule its all smooth and easy after that. I honestly would do it again.
Go air force! (And take the army with you) Stand Navy down the field sail set to the sky we'll never change our course so air farce you steer shy aye aye aye! Lmao
Awe thank you!! Yeah I was rcpo if my division and cadence caller also. Then in a school, cadence caller/leader. I did some retirement ceremonies and Pittsburgh penguins games and bunch of other cool stuff too! 🤙🏽
Hello, I leave for Boot camp this Sunday! And I want to be AROC in my division I do not have any previous JROTC training so everything will be new to me. I just wanted to ask you, do you have any tips for me before I leave so I can gain this position and how did you get yours and obtain in throughout bootcamp? ... No 900 division for me I can not sing all that well
Richaar Hampton THAT IS AWESOME!! you will do great! I have sang my whole life and knew I wanted to be aroc...they ended up making me the rpoc which I was upset about because I wanted to sing still so there were days I was a singing rpoc ahahaha...it was quite fun! so what I did was as soon as I got put in my division-I literally told everyone that I sing and I WILL be aroc...I legit said it so much everyone got annoyed and no one else even tried for it. I kept asking my rdcs when I could 'try out' and seriously asked every day. haha then finally my one chief was like ok who wants to be aroc? who can sing? then I was only one to raise my hand and I sang some cadence...look at my other video titled "bootcamp cadence" and learn the 'left-right' ones. you can make any beat you want as long as u say left when everyones left foot hits and right when everyones right foot steps....makes sense lol my best advice for bootcamp is---rmember it is only 2 months. u r going to question why the hell u joined within first week and maybe a few other times throughout....its all head games. it will end and u will move on. I am now almost 2 years in and one deployment under my belt and I love it. keep a smile in your heart and know it is a brief time period you will get through. they will yell and scream and you will want to as well...but just rise above it. don't let them get the best of u. :) you got this!!!!
Richaar Hampton Keep your mouth shut, and ears open! Forget about what you want. This is boot camp, not HS. I might run into you. Thanks for posting. I'll be sure BC is a pleasure cruise for you. HT1, RDC
Thank You for your answer! I didn't think you would reply back😊😊. I have not performed a day in my life Im not an Alicia Keys lol I'm more of a Major Payne! So if hopefully no one else volunteer nor challenge me for the job! I very optimistic and confident as to handling it though. I practice the left right left about 50 times last night (I couldn't create any on my own)and I was looking for the basic counting that you did but I was unable to find it anywhere.
Anchors away my boys Anchors away Far well to all these joys we sail at break of day ay ay ay. Through our last night ashore drink to the foam until we meet again here's wishing you s happy voyage home! Goooooooo Navy! ( i know you remember the tunnel that sailors sing that in)

Im planing on joining the army but i still like navy cadence but im joing the army to keep it in my family blood because my dad and all of is family was in the army and some of my moms can i get any advice
FuZion PrimeZ sorry for the late reply!!! Do what YOU want. Personally I say do not join army... but it's YOUR life. That's respectable you want to keep the family tradition, but if u join any branch- you are still following in your family's footsteps by serving. My brother is a marine. I am navy. Both my grandfathers were in WWII in the army. Do what is best for YOU. BEST OF LUCK!!
I signed my contract as soon as I possibly could. Straight out after school. I'll do this job till it kills me and then I'll keep right on fighting for freedom and liberty. Hooyah.
HitmanNOS98 damn right man I plan on paying for my Liberty in sweat and blood
Nope. Nope nope nope. Second contracts almost up and I’m off like a prom dress.
@@mrshamwow87 But but your freedom?!?! 😂 As a former Navy guy, there wasn’t anyone fighting for freedom since against the Nazis/ Japanese.
Nice voice

I came up with a Navy Cadence... I was out jogging and I use it....
marine corps motto is do or die ... i said left right lay low, left right lay low, lefty righty lay low, lefty right at home
Derp Mlplord lefty, right, layo*
The marine corps is semper fi meaning always faithful and the navys is semper fortis meaning always strong/courageous

USMC is component of the department of the navy so I mean still a Navy and USMC song in this context. Army uses it too though.
