I rang them today and explained the situation and they told me to send all the details in, so hopefully that will be the end of it, they did say it might be 28 days till I get a reply though
Yes, having been to court myself (property rental stuff), the court does appreciate being told in advance instead of leaving everything to be heard. I _think_ they will view favourably efforts made to resolve the matter before going to court.
Don't ignore it or the court will find in the claimants favour by default. If it hasn't been to court yet there should be a space on the form to put your side. However as it is for £15K I would get professional legal advice. Lawyers from the School of Life at Facebook University are OK for a chat in the pub but usually what they think they know about the law is wrong. Go and speak to a solicitor. It may cost you a couple of hundred quid to sort it out but better than having sheriffs officers knocking on your door and ceasing your property. Best of luck.
This has to be a scam . The reason they “ went after” a limited company is because your address as a director is publicly available. Have you googled the solicitors and contacted them independently of the numbers you have been provided . Have you contacted the court also independently of the numbers provided?
Yes contacted everyone, told the court and they said they would reply within 30 days, still not heard a reply so will update on here when I find out some more
Love your videos mate. Such a nuisance having to deal with something so frustrating, specially when you get no responses back from anyone! Hopefully you got it all sorted.
That’s a serious man cave🤙🏻 sorry to hear about the pickle you have found yourself in. I’d like to pick your brains about turbos for defenders at some point ATB.
Go public with it, and make sure the BBC puts out all the details. This works quite well if, #1, you are not getting the courtesy of a return call, and #2, the prosecutor and magistrate are proving to be obstinate and full of themselves, as they most likely are. This will hit them in the two places it hurts the most. A, the wallet B, public opinion, especially if elected.
Rang the court and explained it wasn’t me, they told me to email them the details, I did that and never got a reply so no idea really, might still be going to court?
Hi mate. Big fan and follower. Hopefully one day we will be able to have a beer together. Anyway, I'm a unqualified lawyer and I'm happy to give you some free advice for a nominal charge. Look forward to meeting you ❤
Contact the court ahead of time, rather than waiting until the case date.

@@Andrew-em6mt I still never heard anything, I emailed them explaining it was nothing to do with me and never got a response 😂
Sounds like a scam. ? Could be organised very well to try and get you to part with money to avoid the ‘so called court date’
It’s real as I rang the court, emailed them just after this video and still not heard anything, will do an update video as soon as I know anymore
@@Tornado_Dave did you ring the number on the paperwork or get the number yourself online.
Agree. An attempt to defraud. Might be interesting to contact to police.
No update on this?

No problem, what did you want to know and which engine do you have?
This is why you have insurance on your vehicles. Let your insurance company sort it out even if it is not you or your vehicle.
The letter has gone to my company that isn’t trading not the one that my insurance is with, so can’t really go down that route
The car involved isn´t his. So he won't have an insurance on it. So his insurance company has no involvement.
🤦🤦🤦🤦

Legal ombudsman?
Hows the progress going Dave?

Thanks for that Ian, If you could go to court with me that would be a great help :)
