it was fun to watch you work, Margarete. Your collages are simple (in a good way-- kind of peaceful) and beautiful. Watching this reminded me to harvest the lovely images from the old dictionaries that are sitting on my shelf, and use my colorful tickets, and more! Lost of inspiration in a short video!
I am going to take all of my cards my husband daughters etc have given me, tear them and do this. Adding various things with them. I can’t wait to do it!!!!
FYI. I found a neat way to hold onto paper scraps, ephemera or any kind of crafting accessories. I recently bought some new sheets for my bed, and the sheets came in a zippered, heavy plastic covering. I put a bunch of my ephemera in it and some of my papers. It's kind of neat because it has a gold zipper with a tassel on the end. It zips about 3/4 of the way around and is very sturdy. Just an idea for people who are looking for something to keep some of their crafty items in. You could use it for your ink pads, brushes, whatever.
I love to hear and watch your process! The collage you put together was so cool. I will definitely try making a book like this. It seems like so much fun.
Thank you Margaret this is wonderful work. I have just found you and I’m a subscriber. You are helping to keep this surreal world lockdown bearable. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Yes!!! This is just what I’ve been looking for. I have FOUR of her amazing journals and I’m ashamed to say I don’t know how to work in them because the pages themselves are already beautiful as they are. And you are talented so I’ve been looking for quality examples and ideas. :)
Look up Lisa Vollrath - she was one of the first (if not THE first) person to make Gluebooks popular online. I found her way back pre 2010, and she is still going strong. Great creative person lisavollrath.com/category/gluebooks/
I enjoyed watching your process as you worked. I like the big rings. That might be a great way to keep greeting cards. Thanks for sharing!

I use those cases, too! I love that they are see through and they are such a nice size. They're easy to store, too 😉❣️👍🏻

I have one of these books, sent tome by my BF Tere! It’s a big one too. It’s a great meditation tool. 💃🏻
Awesome, love this book!
Me too. It's going to be fun to work in :-)
So how do you punch the holes. I like the idea of being able to add.
What size Rings did you use for the red hard found book? I LOVE this!!!
THese are 3 inch rings.

I much prefer the name Eclectic Page journal than Junk Journal...thanks.
I know what you mean. Unfortunately, we've got to go with the flow, for right now, anyway. Most everyone calls them junk journals.
Do you have a video how you make that book
I bought this little book. Sometimes it's fun to work in other people's books :-) I bought it on Etsy.
