Those bushings with the metal inserts kicked many of our asses while we tried getting those in. Boiling really helped for me. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I didn't boil mine but I did use some Dawn dish soap and pushed it in, wasn't to easy but got them in.

How do you like this brand of shocks? I bought the same for my gf 98 Jeep Wrangler, she has about 250k on the chassis, still has the original shocks, replace them as well as the ball joints this coming weekend. Thx 😁

I’ve had no issues with them at all. :-)

@@xfer43 to funny that that you just answered me, I just finally put them in, 2 weeks ago, I like them, but of course, anything is better then, 258k original wore out shocks. 😅😁

@@xfer43 oh I forgot to say, I ordered the wrong size the first time, for a 3" lift.
And yes I boiled them the second time way easier than just dish soap.

Do they ride pretty good for you? I have them on the front of my TJ and the older rancho RS5000 model on the back. If I go down a gravel road at any speed over 10 it sounds like the tailgate is about to fall off lol. And I only run 28 psi so its not the tires. I've been thinking about changing all 4 out for the rancho RS5000X as I've heard they are about the best for ride quality. However, I may just replaced the rear ranchos with these skyjackers and see if that fixes some of my problem

They do run well. It is important to tighten everything up again several weeks after installing, you could get a bit of vibration over time if you don’t. Not saying that is the issue.
