This is absolutely magnificent. I can't wait to see it done. This is something I want to do in the future so I can have some cool RC company for my SP1.
Hi! The dye is 'StazOn' timber brown 41, made by Tsukneko. It's made for ink pads. I tried about six different types. I thought the Rotring drawing pen refills would work but they turned out to be water based. After about a year it the forks are looking a little bit purple!
Dear MrBeboopan, It's coming! Another project jumped the cue in my workshop and got in front of my RVF. I am only a few days away from getting back to it and I can't wait!!!! I think episode five is a few weeks off. I am so excited. Thank you for your patience.
You don't do things by half do you?!! Really impressed with what you're doing, I'm just about to start a VFR750 (94-97, haven't bought the bike yet) RC30 replica, hopefully be somewhere near the quality of your work!
hi rob thankyou for the reply my missus wont allow me on facebook. so i will have to follow your series on u tube or is e mail possible . cheers steve.ps ive got the exhaust on now with stacked twin carbon pipes on the left and it sounds proper now .think ill take the baffles out for some more noise. loads more work to do so hope to finish it later in the year .
hi rob good job your making ive started one myself useing a 96 vfr 750 but not sure how to get rid of all the electrics up front ie the big speedo panel with the printed circuit gubbins is it possible to use any of it cheers steve
Rob Fox ah ok. I’ve also searched for some different possibilities. I’ve got a Tank from NC35 But it’s a bit to small I will also have to modify the VFR tank Do you plan a fifth episode? Would be great
@@Baslerino The fifth episode is some what of a bone of contention. I have had very many requests for it and the expectation is high...which is cool but I've been thinking lately that the pressure is taking the fun out of it for me. Just lately things have changed so I can get on and finish it...so we will see if I can be bothered to edit an episode. I just don't want to be another UA-cam wanker.
Good question. A TIG welder in the hands of an expert would be the strongest for steel and alloy. I do have a TIG welder and I haven't mastered it. I've made some bike frames with the MIG and they have been very good. I'm sticking with MIG for now and I'm going to remake my subframe in alloy when my TIG welding is up to scratch. Are you making a frame?
Very nice job👏. I want to see the bike concluded.
Thank you 👍
Once again, great job! You do some seriously phenomenal work! I'm pumped to see it all finished!

Hi
Very nice project
Could I ask which tank you have used ?
Thanks in advance
It's the VFR750 tank which will be modified later to accommodate the air tubes and fit the frame rail better.
Rob Fox ah ok. I’ve also searched for some different possibilities.
I’ve got a Tank from NC35
But it’s a bit to small
I will also have to modify the VFR tank
