The V1 (version 1) replicant is actually the most desirable one I've seen a mint one sell for up to 500. The V1's usually have more blocky g10 and some people prefer that more. But yeah congrats on having one of the first reps! Definitely a keeper
The blade is actually 154cm steel. D2 is what's on the Benchmade 51. Other than that, cool video. Getting a premium alt rep from my best friend this October. It's my first good balisong and I'm super excited. 😃

Nice story and about Bali flipping beginnings, we all start with some crappie CCC and then, later on buy something quality but for me personally, Butterfly knifes are something much, much more then a flipper and a flipping ! ! I love knifes all my life and i'm a collector of lots kind of knifes but Balisongs are most BEAUTIFULL, most SEXYEST, most A M A Z I N G type of knifes and especially now, thiz dayz with all of crazy materials, types of steels and other things.! LOVE them, L O V E the Balis and i think i will flipp all my life...
I would anodize it if you ever wanna sell it and think it would effect the price you can just take the anno off by soaking the liners in rust stain remover for 5 seconds
My asthma once gave me a asthma attack in the middle of school and I had to stay in a hospital for 4 days, and another time I went in an ambulance, but that was to get me from urgent care to the hospital
V1 reps are like the Grails for people who like reps I'm more of an alpha beast person myself but still amazing also anodizing if u do it ( or get it done by someone else) correctly it really wouldn't change the price
anodizing wouldnt lower the inherent value of the knife, however, it is lost money on your end, say the anode costs you $35 have get done, you dont gain that value, it just stays the same
I think for the time being i'm gonna leave it as is, but if I ever change my mind and don't feel confident enough to do it myself ill definitely take you up on that offer! Thanks for watching man!

I have a knife from the early to mid 1980s, I’m not sure of the brand, but it seems well built. I remember the blade was stainless though.
