thanks for this posting. best theme song formely on daytime! loved the ending---felt as if i were at a disco on fire! those musicans were really working it out with that jazzy horn at the end and those synthesizers. very 80s! great stuff.
I hated this version of the C&B theme at the time. But now it is pretty good. I still prefer the former version. But you did a great job. The Edge of Night would work today.
I love the cast and crew. If Edge were still on these folks may well be on. Of course we've lost Lois Kibbee, Joel Crothers, Irving Allen Lee and many others. The recast of Calvin works. A new Miles would be difficult and there could be only one Geraldine! I just wish it were for real! :(
For all those who remake the Edge of Night open and close, please use the original theme. I loved that tune. It made me think I was going to watch a Hitchcock movie
My favorite theme was the first one after the original circa 1980 featuring Mike, Nancy, Miles, Nicole, April, Draper. It was refreshing and catchy and strangely still haunting. Either way, the best soap AND theme in all it's incarnations. ( Time for Sharon Rose Gabet to get back to daytime!!....way, WAY overdue!!).
oh, you're making me cry. That was great, and fantastic that you gave Robert Kochman a job! If only this was still on! What has happened to soaps today?
This portion of The Edge Of Night is sponsored today by ERA Detergent...The Power Tool For Stains. Fasions provided by Lillie Rubin Salons South/Southwest and Barney's Urban Wear by Sean John and Swimwear by Jantzens Stay Tuned for The Secret Storm next on most of these CBS Stations We invite you to join us again on Tomorrow for The EDDDDDDGGGEEEE Of Night This Program Was Recorded.
Fonts are a little cheesy for 2006, and it looks nicer with lowercase.... "the EDGE of NIGHT" instead of using caps... see? Now whether or not it's grammatically correct that way is another thing entirely~!
Maybe with small caps for *THE* and *OF*-THE EDGE OF NIGHT, like oh the 2015 reimagined open theme (that has the name's words colored in alternating white and red).

OOOHHH!!! Skyline of my hometown!! Cincinnati!! Best city ever!!
Nice usage of the current Cincinnati Skyline, like the classic opening! Excellent work!

Yes it would. And despite the loss of some of the cast, the casting as shown would make it work.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great Theme!

What is Rebecca from Sunnybrook Farms doing on the credits of EON. She was OLTL Todd Manning’s first crush.
Thank you for putting Edge back on CBS where it belongs....hmmmm? I wonder if it's still in the 4 p.m. time slot. :)
It'd probably run within the 3-4PM time slot, or during the overnight...
Yeah I was at WoST still am kinda. I forgot I made a opening for GL's 2005-200? theme. I'm going to upload it right now.
Someone's just doing a "what if" credit sequence... it's not back on the air, much as we wish it were... :(
They should have included Supervising Producer Kenneth L. Fitts (RIP) and Executive In Charge Of Production Mary Alice Dwyer Dobbin credits.
Lori Loughlin was the best!
Who would've known she'd fake photos and become a huge infamous criminal
@@johnlewinski6359 I totally agree!
Didn't know that Darnell Williams took over the role of Calvin Stoner.
Too bad Edge missed the famous PGP logo by a year and a half
