2:13:00 it’s interesting to think that not only is a pure soul untouchable by the Ruinous Powers, they cannot even see it. Which likely explains why they require Champions like Horus and Abaddon in their fight against the God-Emperor of Mankind, rather than just using the Astronomicon as a pathway to drop hellfire right on his head.
Great stuff. Im not used to so many words about the pointy heads *err* I mean Eldar, but highly enjoyable. Brilliant narration, your voice and accent are so perfect for the genre! This is an edited down recap of the events of the Warhammer 40K novel The Gathering Storm 2: The Fracture of Biel-Tan. It's about some big recent events in Warhammer 40K culminating in the resurrection of Roboute Guilliman. This book in particular was about the birth of a new Aeldari warp God. So yeah there's probably wiki articles about these events but the wiki is referencing this material not the other way around.
Emperor's wounds, every battle description is just "[UNIT YOU RECOGNIZE] made an attack with [WARGEAR YOU REMEMBER] and did [X] damage! Then just as [UNIT2] was about to attack, [UNIT3] attacked with [WARGEAR 2] and [WARGEAR 3] and stopped them!" And isn't there a better way to introduce characters than having them appear as timely reinforcements? Sheeeeeeesh.

@ABorder Prince Warhammer Lore Thank you for this most entertaining series and truly splendid reading! Also nice easter-egg at 3:28:04 :D :D Cheers from Germany!
I just picked up one of the Warm Audio zendrives. I had the original and have tried a couple of the later Lovepedal models. I never found the LP to sound like the original, and to be honest it's been so long since i had the original, so my memory is a bit a shaky. It feels like it has a bit less gain, but works better as a clean gain/preamp-ish in the front of the amp. It reminds me a lot of the clean channel on my old Ethos preamp. The big issue trying to compare with the other ones is that while I'm still using the same E. Johnson Strat as before, i currently have Fluence single coils in it as opposed to Mojotone Quiet Coils* and Ive also been running just into the drive and into the amp. I think that may be why it's working better as a clean pedal, it has a TON of sustain but is still EXTREMELY dynamic. The way the guitar volume cleans up certain pedals is very different than passive pickups, some in a good way and others in ways I'm not a really hot on. The biggest issue I've found, and something some may want to be aware of, is with the simple two transistor fuzz pedals like fuzz faces or even the old Double Muff when you don't cascade them. One of my favorite clean tones i would get by running into a Fuzz Face and cleaning it with the guitar volume. Anyone who's used one will know it doesn't clean up like an amp or overdrive, it's not a gradual thing. It goes from fuzz to completely clean, and the clean is bright, glassy and sparkling. It's pretty much the easy way to get that Eric Johnson clean, but with a buffered signal it does clean up gradually and won't get all the way clean. Most would probably prefer it but i like that bright clean. I dug out an old BYOC TRI-Boost that has a MOSFET boost that has a bright tone that gets close, but it's not quite the same and can't give me the fuzz by turning it up. The Warm/Zendrive might be responding more to that than it being an aspect of the pedal, i can't really tell and my other guitars have humbuckers so it's apples and oranges. * i will say the Fluence are almost unsettling quiet if you're used to normal single coils. Hell it's unusually quiet even compared to noiseless pickups. It took a good two or three weeks before i stopped assuming some solder joint came loose every time i plugged in.
