    Hey this guy went to this other country, by his own admission, because of the lax enforcement and lower standards of law. You could feel bad for him if he was on our soil or was there for some other reasons like just a vacation..
    He went there specifically because he believed they had a lower standard. Well, possibly there could have been no charges, but he's just getting what he asked for. He went there to play their game and he lost.

      @@splash4250 he was trying to get transported to UAE for treatment, which sounds like a very obvious attempt at running away from the case as UAE is infamous for their extradition laws being very... open to interpretation (aka if you have money you will be safe, if you're poor gtfo).
      Dude is a self proclaimed multimillionaire with people claiming he's worth like 300 million dollars, whatever equipment and doctors he claimed was only available in Dubai he could've easily paid for to get into Romania if he really had cancer. As fsr as I remember, after he was denied his request he or his lawyer then came out saying he actually doesn't have cancer after all (also after Romanian doctors claimed he was bullshitting after doing a check up on him).

    I watched a bunch of reviews when he was first arrested. One of them pointed out that the Romanian lawyer who is prosecuting Tate is the top one in the country against the organized crime. He is on 24/7 military guard because of the high profile cases he has done in the past. The fact that it is being done by this caliber of lawyer probably means that the brothers are screwed.

      Even now, the UK has a big issue of trafficking Romanian girls for profit. Tate was dumb enough to do that in Romania of all places. A guilty verdict followed by the most harsh sentence is warranted. If Tate wants to continue his profit scheme in prison, there's plenty of guys he can use inside.

      Taking advantage? How should I say it. I think those with the right mindset will get somethink out of what he sells. Just not everyone. Perhaps some may get ripped off by him as well. But I think he is definitely not as bad as people think. I don't like his personality online though.

    Yes, Tate had a closed list of people he was supposed to call, and no others. And it looks like he tried to get around this the old-fashioned way, by having somebody he called conference-call people whom he was not supposed to call into the call.

He was charged with DV (Domestic Violence) of his GF. They instantly "flag" calls made to certain numbers. Doesn't matter the context. If you ever find yourself innocent and in a position, make sure they mail you with a pseudonym from the post office telling you to call that burner. No particular stuff. Hey Bruce, I work for a company that monitors jail calls in NYS. Any call placed to a lawyer is considered privileged and cannot be monitored even if it's done through a 3 way. However, if a call is placed to a lawyer's office, but it goes to voicemail or they only talk to the secretary the call is not privileged. A lawyer must actually be present on the line for the call to become privileged, and many times inmates will leave detailed messages for lawyers.
    Also inmates have a limited list of phone numbers that are curated by their counselor. 3 way calls are technically not permitted, but the technology to stop them is really inconsistent and 3 ways happen all the time without being terminated.

      Tate is not in American prison though so their rules are likely different .
      Also, while the calls themselves may be privileged prosecution or investigators can use that knowledge as a springboard to find other things and you'd have to prove the calls were monitored. Which without hard evidence you would be admitting to knowing of criminal activity your client was taking part in.

    • @purpleomlet
      @purpleomlet Рік тому +3

      @@benf6822 yeah, I assume the rules would be different. Especially since New York State is SpEcIaL and needs to do everything with such needless restrictions and guidelines that I'm sure most other states will have different rules, let alone other countries.
      I am not sure what you're trying to say about the prosecution using the privileged calls as a springboard. I think you mean they could still listen to them and just act like they didn't. I have no idea how it would work in Romania, but at least where I am a prosecutor isn't entitled to any calls that come out of a prison. Those calls are property of the company that supplies the telephones for the prison. There are not only company policies to ensure a person's rights to privacy in the legal system, but laws stating those calls cannot be listened to. The company who owns those calls would get in serious trouble and probably be heavily fined and lose their contracts if it ever came out that privileged calls were being provided to or used by prosecutors to gain an understanding of potential crimes.
      Again, I have no idea how Romania works, but I'd assume they wouldn't be able to listen in on privileged calls either.

    They are still gathering evidence to charge. From what I have gathered, they have enough to meet the threshold for human trafficking. But new details are recently being discovered, for example it only came to light a couple of weeks ago they tried to get inside information out of the police (a new charge), only a few days ago they froze his crypto currency as I imagine new information came to light about that. organised crime is complicated and takes months to paint the full picture. They could hsve sentenced him based on the immediate info they had, but it wouldn't have been an accurate reflection on the full body of crime.
    Preventative arrest on someone with ties to mafia, and lots of money who Is involved in organised crime is necessary. He would be a significant flight risk and his ability to manipulate the press and victims with his connections on the outside world is too high.

If they give their attorney permission to talk with mom/dad/baby’s mama/another person they trust, the attorney will keep them updated too. But why subject yourself to recording/monitoring?? Our clients can make free, private calls to our office, but if they call any other # it’s expensive. Plus the telecom co the jail here uses can sometimes detect the 3rd party on the line & will disconnect the call anyway.

    please correct me if i'm wrong , but i think the reason why the prosecutor didn’t charge them yet is because they need more time to fully investigate this case , not because they don’t have evidence but maybe because they found more illegal stuff in this case , so they need to investigate more. they can charge them when they’re ready. if the prosecutor just charges them , they can’t continue the investigation. why? it is because charging them immediately would be bad because they would lose the ability to do more investigation , to dig up more information, and to dig deeper into this case. his fanboy keep on saying " they don't have any evidence otherwise they would have already charged him by now. romania's legal system is corrupt. " they have no understanding of how their legal system works and their opinion are solely their own. you absolutely do need evidence to extend the detention , plus the prosecutor was given 180 days for the criminal investigations. so just let them do their work and we just wait for the trial.

    • @matthewyoho5422
      @matthewyoho5422 Рік тому +19

      You have the gist of it: they probably have more than enough evidence to take the case to trial, but the preventative detention their system allows for means that they can continue to conduct their investigation and make that case *ironclad* and expand it to wherever the evidence they dig up takes them, while Tate is sidelined and unable to (mostly) interfere with it (he's still trying to interfere with it, via frivolous defamation lawsuits aimed at the accusers), and take the case to court in their own dang time, provided they can continue convincing the human rights judges of the merits of continuing to extend his detention each time (and then convincing the inevitable appeals court judges to uphold those rulings).
      The cope from the tater tots that "there's no evidence" and that's why they haven't filed charges yet is pure delusion on their part, Tate would already be a free man if that was actually the case.

    • @mugenzero007
      @mugenzero007 Рік тому +6

      There’s truth to that. I believe that whatever you charge someone with in court, you have to prove that specific charge. I mean...this is Eastern Europe, 180 days of jail is _nothing_ here. It can take years for the trial to start while the suspect awaits it in jail (but usually it means they have pretty strong case against you).

    Dressed classy per usual my good man !! 👍🏼💪🏼 looks like you’re one of the faster growing channels. Good for you. It’s nice to see the people who deserve some recognition and are accountable for them selves, and their own actions. Unlike the rest of the clowns 🤡 these days.

    He's clearly getting sentenced for trafficking, if not he'd be out by now.
    And don't give me no matrix bullshit simps, he's guilty.
    His defence can't get him released for two reasons, firstly the evidence is there and secondly he's a flight risk.
    What his defence will be doing, is not trying to get him off but trying to get him the best deal possible.

    Thank you Bruce criminal lawyer I always appreciate your real examination of things and explain things to people and yes I was laughing too when you said that about the Cheeto that was good but in reality you know that hat that's it right next to you that says stop self snitching that's exactly what he's doing and creating more crimes as he goes as I've said before I wait to reserve my judgment until all the evidence is presented but this does not look good thank you Bruce for everything that you post it helps people understand what certain legal terms mean and a very easy way

    I do agree that prisoners (Andrew Tate included) deserve to have health care, and generally be treated with decency. But from the stories I've heard (and some of the comments on this very video) that doesn't always happen, even in the US.
