      It’s definitely an acquired taste but now that I’ve gotten used to wearing woodsman heels and Cuban heels that’s pretty much what I like to stick with at this point. Thanks for watching and commenting. God Bless

    It’s always a little bit of trial and error when a new model comes out even if it’s from a well known company. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how these age and hold up over time. Thanks for watching. God Bless

    Everyone complaining calm down! Its still Thursday Boot which means they only copy highest quality boots but they are a looks company! None of the guys there are construction workers, fire fighters, or any hard labor job. They work in New York area like Manhattan or something. This is just to look Rugged not for the actual job! This is their rendition of logger wear and so far it is the best variation of any of their boots so far. Long term most likely it will not hold up as best as NICK's or Truman's or the like but it is not actually made for that purpose anyway. Buy it for the look.

    Props to thursday, unfortunately I started with red wing and went towards White's and Nicks so I never got to wear Thursdays but they are headed in the right direction with these. Personally I would change the sleeker toe box for a more workwear/wider toe box to fit the lug stitchdown aesthetic

      This is my first pair of Thursdays. I’ve always avoided them but I couldn’t pass them up. I prefer a wider toe box as well for most of my boots but this just caught my attention because it was a little different and I like that. My PNW boots are still my favorites though for sure. Hands down. Thanks for commenting. God Bless

      Funny you mentioned that as I got an email from Thursday for their The Thunder line but only in three colors (black, tobacco and wheat) and has a slight toe bump (like the 20 last on Truman's) and a higher walled/squared off toe. I really like that Challenge in Stone Rambler though (or that Chelsea).

    I'll be interested in knowing what you think of the step placement of the boots, because the heel section looks like the entire upper was slanted to achieve the large heel. I'm not sure if that would make it feel like your foot is sliding forward all the time.

    Dude on every review of these boots, I was looking for reviews for advice on sizing, I couldn’t find many due to them being new. I just got mine and they are tight. I got the predator whiskey and right after I got it I thought I should’ve gotten those horse rumps for $20 more, I mean Italian veg tan horse rump for that price is a great deal but I f****d up.

    I’ve had 30 plus pairs of Truman Boots in different lasts, patterns, styles etc. I’ve owned Nick’s, White’s, Frank’s id put any of my work Trumans against the older brands any day of the week. If you’re a wildland fire fighter yes then don’t buy Truman. I had and given away 8 pairs of Thursday Boots, good to see they are trying new things but I don’t trust the brand or construction.
    Just my Opinion, good review, we all like different stuff.👍👍🙏

    I like that stone rambler (because I don't have anything like that) but not a huge fan of the the logger heel; just me. Just got the email from Thursday for the Thunder and those are certainly beefy but have that toe bump (don't know the last) but only have three colors in 'normal' leather and nothing as 'nice' as these.
    I have their Stompers for casual wear (I know but the Hero wasn't an option at the time) and Captains as a dress boot. Really nice they went with different leathers.

    You can get that quality at that price, overseas mto, China, Indonesia, etc.
    The last looks weird on those, the heel section’s slanted forward. I wonder if the ball of the heel will slide forward a bit, the things built like a slide 🛝
    Most well-made boots are flat under your heel
    Those flex grooves will cause the insole to likely break apart during a resole. I feel like they Frankenstein’d these things

      I have a pair on order from Indonesia I’ll be showing soon and there is definitely some high quality stuff coming out of that area no doubt. I think these are unique and I like them but I guarantee you if they end up being garbage long term I’ll be the first one on here to say so lol. These were just the initial impression. Thank you for watching and God Bless.

      i don't understand what you mean about the heel? it looks the same as a Nicks urban logger?

    • @EDHBlvd
      @EDHBlvd 23 години тому +1

      @@bushisahomono it does not. Look at the angle in the heel stacks. This Last was not designed for such a high heel. The Lasts Nicks and other PNW brands use have a large heel to toe drop to them, so the heel is flat and they don’t need to sand the heel stacks like this. This is a copycat move.

    I have just ordered these same boot. These are my ninth pair of Thursday. I have Nicks urban logger. It will be interesting to see the difference btw these and nicks. A small question, is the tongue fully gusseted. I have seen a review on the Thursday facebook page that the tongue is not gussetted from the vamp

    • @Realboottalk
      @Realboottalk  День тому

      Yes on the black label boots they are fully gusseted. I like mine a lot. Thanks for commenting. God Bless

    is the tongue matching ?

    • @Realboottalk
      @Realboottalk  2 дні тому +2

      Yes it is and the tongue is a good size to wear for a casual boot where it doesn’t have to be tri folded like the PNW. I like the tri fold for my work boots but I prefer less material for my casual boots. Thanks for commenting. God Bless.

      @Realboottalk thanks for the feedback. I feel the same way about my boot's tongues. My Nicks I love the extra tongue but my Trumans I like less, just wish they gusseted higher
