Hey Navandis Gaming I'm having trouble with the trade links in the POB. They all say they are for Scourge and wont work when I try to copy paste them. Is there anyway for us to get updated trade links for those of us who are new to the game and don't yet understand the gear progression. I have seen other content creators do a Google doc that has a page on it for each build they maintain then they just update the links on each page as needed. Perhaps something like that would take some of the work out of building and rebuilding the POB over and over?
@@ao4063 The POB link (with updated trade links) has been updated a few days ago so if you haven't imported the new one yet, try it. The "scourge" part of the links was not the issue, those should still work, the problem was an entirely different one
@@NavandisGaming I just re-imported the build and all the trade links in the notes section still lead to a page that says "Failed to load search state. The search is no longer valid." When you copy paste the link into poe's trade site. Is there some other trade section I am not finding or some other POB aside from the one last updated on 05/27/2022? Nav, with the new Forbidden Flame/Flesh Crimson Jewels we can allocate Rupture on Deadeye ascendancy. This will make our bossing numbers look REALLY good. I'm going to revisit this build this week. you can only use forbidden jewels for your class. E.G. A Glad (Duelist) can only use Duelist ascendancies. You can't use Ranger Forbidden Jewels on a Duelist.
Navandis, this looks like my starter for 3.17. However i have a question - your guides usually have trees with clusters and an alternative trees without cluster. I have checked the prices and the jewels you use cost 7EX (large) and 100C (medium) - which I will surely not have by the end of Act 10 as those jewels are used in the Act 10 tree. Do you have any workaround for that? Thanks!
a good trick for farming early clusters is act 9 foothills. go to the waypoint, take a quick lap around the immediate area to look for the mirror and if its there go to town. keep resetting the instance to farm. Important though, this needs to be done before level 73, because mechanics stop spawning when you're 11 levels over the area level. if you over level, then do de-leveling vendor recipe
For the large cluster with 10-30 chaos (with delve craft)you can have 2/3 nodes that should be good enough. For medium cluster all the money its on the 'wasting affliction' , you can get an other node that would be good enough for early , again with delve craft 10-20 chaos. And besides all of that at act 10 you wont have enough passive points on tree fro a cluster

Finally a decent bleed bow build :) After some research ive found that the new mark mastery gives you frenzy in hit(!!) So im gonna change the movement skill setup to a 2 link mark on hit with poacher's mark and 2 link dash with second wind. And change quiver to Ensnaring arrow, GMP and maim I think..
We are unfortunately nowhere near a mark mastery, the closest one requiring 7 points to get. We already generate frenzy charges incredibly easy, so there's no point in getting the mastery for it. I am considering adding Poacher's Mark+Mark on Hit for the physical damage increase (the mana cost won't be an issue as the mark provides a shitton of mana on hit) and life gain on hit. However that will require a +1 curse body armour
Playing it as league starter. Had while questing ups and down. Hit atlas and feeling like a slow tank, but if I shoot it's only *poop* and area is clear. 🖤 Love it. I reached without the quiver to run all auras with Conqueror's Efficiency. But left Mana isn't much 🤭
If you use Lifetap in your main clearing setup you won't have mana issues. For Snipe (if you have the Asailum helmet) you can temporarily use an Enduring mana flask
I really like the concept of bleeding. Thank you for this video and guide. I do have a question about new player friendly. I have only been playing for a few leagues now. Would you say in terms of play mechanics is it new player friendly? Is it a 1 button build or 3 or more. I am a noob and struggle when i have to press 3 or more buttons constantly.

Great guide, man. Just a quick note--you recommended Infractem as one of the progression bows early in the video. That bow is pretty bad for this build specifically because Infractem's "pierce all" ability shuts off Ensnaring Arrow's utility (it only ensnares the last enemy you hit, so infinite pierce means it never works). By the same token, anyone not going Maloney's needs to make sure they don't use a pierce quiver. Just wanted to mention that because I didn't know this when I played Bleed Bow back in the day and it cost me a lot of damage I thought I had.
You make a good point, however I only recommended Infractem as a leveling bow and while leveling you're usually not going to have access to Maloney's. You also don't really rely on Ensnaring Arrow while leveling but more on just explosions and clearing. It's not like you're fighting some high end bosses during the campaign, which is where ensnaring arrow is a must 😁
@@NavandisGaming That's fair but I'm guessing a lot of your viewers don't know this technicality. It may be good to mention that fact while recommending it for the segment you do. Infractem's numbers are otherwise good enough that my first time playing bleed bow, I kept it all the way through T16s without realizing.
I have a question about the build: What Gear is absolutely needed to do "normal" T16 mapping? I already have a good bow, assailum, 40/34 ryslathas, OKish 6 Link Armour, maloneys mechanism and most of the cluster jewels. The rest of the gear is not too expensive but at the moment I do not have that much time to play.
I know I'm not Navandis, but I'm also playing the build right now and I would say getting max chaos res alongside DIvine Flesh with the Glorious vanity jewel, good bow, assailum, ryslathas, 6link, maloney's and all clusters jewels would be sufficient. I currently have all that along with a curse with vulnerability ring. For the auras I'm literally only using herald of purity, war banner, determination, and I added flesh and stone because the challenger charges from just the base "blood" stance that we are in is terrible. I feel so slow all the time with just a few charges up and with flesh and stone on sand stance there's an added defensive layer which just feels good all around. Losing malevolence is whatever tbh because right now the T16s feel easy without it. I tried the malevolence with the enlighten in the set up and damage was nice, but again I felt way slower and less tanky without the flesh and stone. Also if you don't have all the clusters you can always throw in a cheap cluster for the time being. I know I used student of decay with like disorienting wounds until I was able to get the student of decay with wasting affliction also with the other jewel you can get rend then some other compatible passive until you have the same end game jewel that's listed in the POB. Honestly I was doing T16s without ryslathas, curse with vuln ring, or divine flesh for a few days and it was doable but for normal, easy gameplay that stuff I listed up top would be good. Also making sure to have the thread of hope and rotgut's. Having Disciple of slaughter on the passive tree makes frenzy charge generation easy and popping the rotgut at max frenzy everytime we're just zooming through the map.

I also don't know why my resist isn't capped at 75 in POB but it is in game. I also used divine vessel on Atoll map boss and Summit map boss for freeze immunity and unaffected by burning ground. The dmg on the POB is without me accounting for frenzy charges, enemy moving, or snipe stages. Lmk if you have any other questions
I loved that you created this build, I made an updated version for 3.16 by myself and now I want to compare my build with yours! Glad bleed anything is ultra fun for me. SST was my 3.15 main, league start it on 3.16 and then I made a Bleed bow, it kicks ass when you do that snipe! love it
@@NavandisGaming one thing that took me a few tries to figure out was that the Snaring was critical for the Puncture bleed to happen properly. I was first thinking, why is this bleed damage so BAD on a boss that stands still.
The gear is only my only concern here. I am mostly doing all the farming by myself. I don't tend to use the trading as much because I like farming stuff for my own, gives me something to do. So should I just keep doing maps? even if I get some decent gear, I bet the build wouldn't even work if I need the uniques mentioned in this video :/
So I built up this build with most rare gear and harvest craft, it's decent damage but it really make point to use uniques so to make it easy for high damage with budget,

That's how much total damage a 6 stages snipe-puncture bleed stack will do throughout its entire duration. It's the product of bleed DPS x bleed duration. Some observations here: with this build you can apply a single bleed stack but stronger ones will overwrite any exisiting weaker bleed. So, you can keep sniping and squeeze out a bit more DPS by applying slightly stronger bleeds (due to damage roll variations) or you could play more defensively and simply move around, attacking with split arrow every noe and then to keep the ensnaring debuff up. The DOT will tick regardless, which can actually make this an insane boss killer when played right 👍

I wanna know if you can stack accuracy on this build for Precise Technique keystone that replaces Windancer. Precise Technique causes you to deal 40% more Attack damage if your Accuracy Rating is higher than your Maximum Life, but prevents you from dealing critical strikes
Precise Technique doesn't provide any bonuses to ailments unfortunately, so it's pretty much useless for a DOT build. Our hit damage is irrelevant apart from some basic leeching
@@NavandisGaming really? isnt the bleed damage calculated on the base damage of the biggest hit? isn't that why you try to focus on the highest physical damage bow-type and not care too much on the minimum of that range? update: never mind - only base physical attack damage and the more for hit does not count - as you said. my bad
Taken this build all the way to maven, just uber left. Lots of changes, but the idea is still the same. I just wanna add that pob must be wrong about the damage with deadly ailments. Using chance to bleed support instead.
Love the build, I've been playing it now since league launch. The leveling so far hasn't been to hard. If you start off with split arrow from the get go. It can be a little rough until you link Chance to bleed and mirage archer. I do have one question about the clusters though. I see once we reach act 10 we start to put them into the sockets. Those large clusters are very expensive and the medium one's are also not cheap. Is there a work around that? or is there cheaper cluster to put in their places until we can afford spending 3+ ex on jewels.
For the average player like me and probably others, the cluster jewels and thread of hope are out of reach for now. I'm in act IX now and what I plan to do is pick up Disciple of Slaughter and Unyielding for the minimum charges and associates bonuses. I know there's a lot of mediocre passives to take on the way there but those two notables are important.
Buy the base for the cluster jewels and then use your harvest reforge phys/ reforge attack until you get decent mods. For the medium clusters you dont really need the exact combo that is shown in the pob, getting something like rend and brewed for potency or any of the other mods is fine for the beginning. Invest your currency into a high flat phys damage bow, that will do a lot more for you than trying to min/max you cluster setup :)
Looks like an fun and awesome build, leveld up as a starter, I can see that it will be alot of fun with all the uniques like the head etc. But in White maps it feels rough. Boss/Unique mobs dmg is lackluster, regular clear feels ok nothing more. But what irritates me the most is that the defenseive of this build is really bad. Trying to figure out what da hell is going on. 3.5k HP Elemental Capped ~18k Armor without flask activated 3x Endurance charged (Enduring cry) But it still feels you you get instant gibbed about of times, Spells i cna somewhat understand but melee hits should not hit that hard. Played Slayer Phys Cyclone last season and hade around the same armor and that tanked pretty muuch all T16 maps witouth any problems, But here T1-T4 maps kills you. Anyone have any idea? As it stand right now i have a hard time seeing that i will get any further withouth quiting the game. Looking at levling another char instead...
If you want to instantly get more tanky, then I would try to rush getting Divine flesh, get cheap clusters that give you + max chaos resist. This will give you a lot of damage mitigation from elemental damage, as long as you cap your chaos resists
I gave up on the chaos thing and went a different way. Got %100 spell suppression now. Like 70 evade and 70 prevention. almost 5k health. pretty tanky now, but just the armor wasn't cutting it.
@@gradiu3rox what did you do for spell suppression? I've got a lacerate build the damage is there and I can tank/block any physical damage but get 1 tapped by spells.

I knew the build can be used as a league starter, I tested it myself as well. The idea was it wouldn't be very smooth or easy for most people, especially the ones that never played a bow build before, let alone a glad bow build. But with the right mindset and strategy the build has no issues quickly getting to the atlas and then smashing through the maps. Really glad you're enjoying it! 😁
@@NavandisGaming reached end game maps and bosses... no sustain and for some reason even with 86% chaos res and divine flesh with 40k armour... still super squishy.. good for normal maps though but bosses not good gonna save up and reroll

Hmm, that's strange, POB must've converted an implicit as an affix when the item was imported (I believe it was before eldritch crafting was introduced and POB didn't read those items properly). Yeah, there's no way to have both eldritch mods and influences on items, so it's either/or. I've updated the POB with a new pair of gloves and the trade link. Unfortunately there's no way to have both sources of phys dot multi, would've been waaaay too broken 😁 On the flip side, it's actually quite easy to go over 50% suppression this way even without trying, so the build is even tankier now 💪
Anyone else absolutely hate how Snipe works? If you charge with your cursor on the target the shot misses 80% of the time. Only if youre in specific angles from the monster you can hit it. I usually just aim at the ground before or after the monster so i can actually hit. So frustrating to charge for so much time and then miss. Am i missing something?

Question: will adding a corrupting fever setup provide extra damage or will getting the stacks be too difficulty for this build. Also, if I were to get a 6 link bow and replace blink arrow, any suggestions as to what to do with the extra gem 2 slots? Poachers mark with the new mark on hit gem sounds nice
You won't reliably get more than 2-3 stacks of Corrupting Fever mostly because everything will die by then and for bosses you're not really spamming Split Arrow either (just to get the Ensnaring Arrows triggered). With such low number of stacks any 6th support gem would be better than CF. Indeed, for the "wildcard" 2 sockets I was thinking about poacher's + mark on hit, but you will need to get a body armour with +1 curse. Shouldn't be hard or too expensive as we're not really getting anything crazy on that gear slot anyway 👍
hey is there a reason why our clear setup needs to be in the body armor and not the weapon? getting 3 red and 2 blue on any bow seems like a lot more work then a 6L bow up early. later when you have a lot more chrom orbs and the crafts to do the vorici method its easier to to get a really good weapon that isnt linked, i get that. just early seems to be terrible. otherwhise seems like a good guide, even decent boss damage for a dot build
Not really, it's flexible, but most of the times very good weapons are much more expensive and more often than not they are not linked if the person just crafted for sale. Decent body armours are almost always 6-linked
@@NavandisGaming true, im just thinking strictly about the first few days where you could get a decent 5 or 6 link unique bow (slivertongue 6L was at 14c in the first week of league start in 3.16) but dont have enough chroms and or jewellers
seeing the title being changed into 3.18 i assume this is still viable? just wondering the pob is still 3.16 without any masteries and such - wouldnt there be a way to improve?
The tree didn't change at all (like not just for this build but for POE as a whole) since then so nothing changes if you just press "Convert to 3.17" - I'll do that and update just to avoid any confusion, but I dread doing it again for all trees in 3.18 for literally no change :< Also, masteries are there 100% sure, including in the leveling trees because this build was made after they were introduced so there's no way they would be missing. Make sure you have the Community Fork POB if you don't see them 👍 But yeah, 100% still viable, no real changes

I just updated the POB link now to have the 3.17 trees so it looks cleaner 😁 also took this opportunity to update the gear with Eldritch crafting implicits (mid-tier ones, easily obtainable with cheap currency) and added that info in the pinned comment as well! We gained quite a bit of DPS from those, especially the body armour implicits + a bit of action speed which should make charging Snipe even smoother 💪
Damage over time multiplier has absolutely nothing to do with critical strike multiplier. They're two completely separate mods. As for the stances, all POE chars are by default in blood stance and you don't need a stance skill to enable that
I saw in your pob you dont have Blood/sand stance, does i understood correctly i CANT generate challanger charges? does it then being ``usfull`` to switch the point from Arena challanger to the small node that grants 4 AS and 2% block? then have Arena challanger without using it. 4 AS and 2% Block sounds better then zero

My build is not quite getting up to your DPS, not quite sure what is going wrong. Where are you getting blood/sand stance from without reservation problems?
Are you playing Standard or league? If league, should you realistically expect similar DPS levels less than 3 days into a brand new league and economy? As for the stances, all POE chars are in blood stance by default - follow the aura setups I've outlined and the passive tree and you won't have any reservation issues.

After looking at your POB i noticed that you' re not using any stance aura like flesh & stone or blood & sand. Would you still gain Challenger Charges since they specificly say in the Arena Challenger node that you need a stance to gain a charge?
It's very copium, there's no real reason to use ROA if you're not stacking multiple bleed stacks on each enemy (through Crimson Dance). Split Arrow is absolutely superior to RoA for direct, single bleed stack application
Not if you want to kill bosses. If your issue is the channeled nature, nothing you can do there. If it's hitting the boss you can take a hit to your dps and use arrow nova.
@@WesternHypernormalization Its more that it is pretty expensive usually, if there was any recommendation before getting it, like a normal rare with X stats or another unique you know.
There's no straight-forward answer for that as it depends what you have on the rest of the gear and either stat will run into diminishing returns. Best thing is to import your char in POB, set everything right in the config tab and import the bows you're looking to buy. POB should provide a pretty accurate damage breakdown
They only removed Mark on hit from Rings (which you can get from the new support gem), you can still get Vulnerability or other curses on rings or potentially gloves (corrupted implicit).
You can totally go that route but I actually think Split Arrow is a decent leveling skill as long as you're doing your best to upgrade your weapon often enough. Which would be necessary for steel skills as well, it's just a different type of weapon 😁
I've been test running this build early act 1 in standard and I gotta say it feels very rough. If you're gonna level with split arrow and puncture you need some luck with drops, specifically some 3 links with 2x green 1x red early to even have a chance. But honestly I think leveling with splitting steel at least for the first few acts and leveling the bow gems in off hand is gonna be a lot faster. I'm gonna run it for league start, but everyone who goes for this should be prepared and aware that this is not gonna be a quick start to the league. I doubt the bow buffs, significant as they are, will do much for the first act or so.

I've tested both and deadeye is way better, glad ascendency is not really good and deadeye have more boss dps same map dps and better protection against OS
@@cedricgouband2836 but you will need to get accuracy and a lot of crit with everything already needed, which is way harder, especially on league start

Can someone tell me the reason why we pick "Arena Challenger"? How can i aquire challenger charges if there is no blood and sand skill being used in this build? Or is there another way to get these charges? i'm noob
In pob you have herald of purity but in the video you use flesh and stone to get the challenger charges. Did you try to make dps seem better than in reality or you just forgot to change it?
You don't need flesh and stone for challenger charges, all chars are by default in blood stance. I constantly update the POB after a guide is released to further min-max it and get the best out of each build, especially after major patches go live; swapping F&S for HoP was one such change. Now, as a reward for this extra time and effort I put in I get people like you accusing me of trying to skew numbers, so I guess it is true that no good deed goes unpunished 👍
last time i played bleed bow was in delirium league. And i have not played with assailum helmet but i remember doing sirus 8 without any problem just simple puncture gameplay. Does puncture get nerf or smth? why people use this silly helmet? it makes u slow and dmg is pretty same atleast thats what i notice in this video for example 1:08 (crusader fight) i used to kill him in around 5-15sec on A8

Yes it did, the weapon bases got a pretty substantial buff which is the most important component of bleed damage. Then there's also the eldritch crafting, but that's a net buff to literally all the builds in the game

with the new jewel that gives you a mastery from another ascendancy you could get the rupture from deadeye which gives you 25% more dmg with bleeds and bleeds deal dmg 25% faster. Rupture can be stacked 3 times so you could get idiotic amounts of dmg so you might be able to still be meta... jewels might cost a mirror each tho :D
Wont work. You can get a mastery from another ascendancy but only from the same baseclass. So the Gladiator could get the Skills from Slayer or Champion
To be honest, i see no reason why this cant be used as a leque starter. Yes it wont be as fast as a minion build orso. But whit the lvling guide you will deffently hit maps decently fast. After that get the core upgrades, helm,quiver,jewels and ready to rumbell after that sky is the limet whit currency. Just missing the none jewel setup.. but solid build love it!

Hey Navandis Gaming I'm having trouble with the trade links in the POB. They all say they are for Scourge and wont work when I try to copy paste them. Is there anyway for us to get updated trade links for those of us who are new to the game and don't yet understand the gear progression. I have seen other content creators do a Google doc that has a page on it for each build they maintain then they just update the links on each page as needed. Perhaps something like that would take some of the work out of building and rebuilding the POB over and over?
@@ao4063 The POB link (with updated trade links) has been updated a few days ago so if you haven't imported the new one yet, try it. The "scourge" part of the links was not the issue, those should still work, the problem was an entirely different one
@@NavandisGaming I just re-imported the build and all the trade links in the notes section still lead to a page that says "Failed to load search state. The search is no longer valid." When you copy paste the link into poe's trade site. Is there some other trade section I am not finding or some other POB aside from the one last updated on 05/27/2022? Nav, with the new Forbidden Flame/Flesh Crimson Jewels we can allocate Rupture on Deadeye ascendancy. This will make our bossing numbers look REALLY good. I'm going to revisit this build this week. you can only use forbidden jewels for your class. E.G. A Glad (Duelist) can only use Duelist ascendancies. You can't use Ranger Forbidden Jewels on a Duelist.

Navandis, this looks like my starter for 3.17. However i have a question - your guides usually have trees with clusters and an alternative trees without cluster. I have checked the prices and the jewels you use cost 7EX (large) and 100C (medium) - which I will surely not have by the end of Act 10 as those jewels are used in the Act 10 tree. Do you have any workaround for that? Thanks!
a good trick for farming early clusters is act 9 foothills. go to the waypoint, take a quick lap around the immediate area to look for the mirror and if its there go to town. keep resetting the instance to farm. Important though, this needs to be done before level 73, because mechanics stop spawning when you're 11 levels over the area level. if you over level, then do de-leveling vendor recipe
For the large cluster with 10-30 chaos (with delve craft)you can have 2/3 nodes that should be good enough.
For medium cluster all the money its on the 'wasting affliction' , you can get an other node that would be good enough for early , again with delve craft 10-20 chaos.
And besides all of that at act 10 you wont have enough passive points on tree fro a cluster

Finally a decent bleed bow build :) After some research ive found that the new mark mastery gives you frenzy in hit(!!) So im gonna change the movement skill setup to a 2 link mark on hit with poacher's mark and 2 link dash with second wind. And change quiver to Ensnaring arrow, GMP and maim I think..
it also costs you 99 mana every 4 seconds so you'll want to swap out second wind for lifetap if you want to have any mana ever
We are unfortunately nowhere near a mark mastery, the closest one requiring 7 points to get. We already generate frenzy charges incredibly easy, so there's no point in getting the mastery for it.
I am considering adding Poacher's Mark+Mark on Hit for the physical damage increase (the mana cost won't be an issue as the mark provides a shitton of mana on hit) and life gain on hit. However that will require a +1 curse body armour
I don't get the last ascendency part. We're not using blood and sand aura so how can we generate challenger charges for speed to go up ?

Playing it as league starter. Had while questing ups and down. Hit atlas and feeling like a slow tank, but if I shoot it's only *poop* and area is clear. 🖤
Love it. I reached without the quiver to run all auras with Conqueror's Efficiency. But left Mana isn't much 🤭
If you use Lifetap in your main clearing setup you won't have mana issues. For Snipe (if you have the Asailum helmet) you can temporarily use an Enduring mana flask

I really like the concept of bleeding. Thank you for this video and guide. I do have a question about new player friendly. I have only been playing for a few leagues now. Would you say in terms of play mechanics is it new player friendly? Is it a 1 button build or 3 or more. I am a noob and struggle when i have to press 3 or more buttons constantly.
Gameplay it's really easy with this build, you pretty much spam right click on maps and use only snipe and dash on bosses

Great guide, man. Just a quick note--you recommended Infractem as one of the progression bows early in the video. That bow is pretty bad for this build specifically because Infractem's "pierce all" ability shuts off Ensnaring Arrow's utility (it only ensnares the last enemy you hit, so infinite pierce means it never works). By the same token, anyone not going Maloney's needs to make sure they don't use a pierce quiver. Just wanted to mention that because I didn't know this when I played Bleed Bow back in the day and it cost me a lot of damage I thought I had.
You make a good point, however I only recommended Infractem as a leveling bow and while leveling you're usually not going to have access to Maloney's. You also don't really rely on Ensnaring Arrow while leveling but more on just explosions and clearing. It's not like you're fighting some high end bosses during the campaign, which is where ensnaring arrow is a must 😁
@@NavandisGaming That's fair but I'm guessing a lot of your viewers don't know this technicality. It may be good to mention that fact while recommending it for the segment you do. Infractem's numbers are otherwise good enough that my first time playing bleed bow, I kept it all the way through T16s without realizing.
I have a question about the build:
What Gear is absolutely needed to do "normal" T16 mapping? I already have a good bow, assailum, 40/34 ryslathas, OKish 6 Link Armour, maloneys mechanism and most of the cluster jewels.
The rest of the gear is not too expensive but at the moment I do not have that much time to play.
I know I'm not Navandis, but I'm also playing the build right now and I would say getting max chaos res alongside DIvine Flesh with the Glorious vanity jewel, good bow, assailum, ryslathas, 6link, maloney's and all clusters jewels would be sufficient. I currently have all that along with a curse with vulnerability ring. For the auras I'm literally only using herald of purity, war banner, determination, and I added flesh and stone because the challenger charges from just the base "blood" stance that we are in is terrible. I feel so slow all the time with just a few charges up and with flesh and stone on sand stance there's an added defensive layer which just feels good all around. Losing malevolence is whatever tbh because right now the T16s feel easy without it. I tried the malevolence with the enlighten in the set up and damage was nice, but again I felt way slower and less tanky without the flesh and stone. Also if you don't have all the clusters you can always throw in a cheap cluster for the time being. I know I used student of decay with like disorienting wounds until I was able to get the student of decay with wasting affliction also with the other jewel you can get rend then some other compatible passive until you have the same end game jewel that's listed in the POB. Honestly I was doing T16s without ryslathas, curse with vuln ring, or divine flesh for a few days and it was doable but for normal, easy gameplay that stuff I listed up top would be good. Also making sure to have the thread of hope and rotgut's. Having Disciple of slaughter on the passive tree makes frenzy charge generation easy and popping the rotgut at max frenzy everytime we're just zooming through the map.

I also don't know why my resist isn't capped at 75 in POB but it is in game. I also used divine vessel on Atoll map boss and Summit map boss for freeze immunity and unaffected by burning ground. Glad bleed anything is ultra fun for me. SST was my 3.15 main, league start it on 3.16 and then I made a Bleed bow, it kicks ass when you do that snipe! love it

@@NavandisGaming one thing that took me a few tries to figure out was that the Snaring was critical for the Puncture bleed to happen properly. I was first thinking, why is this bleed damage so BAD on a boss that stands still.
The gear is only my only concern here. I am mostly doing all the farming by myself. I don't tend to use the trading as much because I like farming stuff for my own, gives me something to do. So should I just keep doing maps? even if I get some decent gear, I bet the build wouldn't even work if I need the uniques mentioned in this video :/
So I built up this build with most rare gear and harvest craft, it's decent damage but it really make point to use uniques so to make it easy for high damage with budget,

That's how much total damage a 6 stages snipe-puncture bleed stack will do throughout its entire duration. It's the product of bleed DPS x bleed duration.
Some observations here: with this build you can apply a single bleed stack but stronger ones will overwrite any exisiting weaker bleed.
So, you can keep sniping and squeeze out a bit more DPS by applying slightly stronger bleeds (due to damage roll variations) or you could play more defensively and simply move around, attacking with split arrow every noe and then to keep the ensnaring debuff up. The DOT will tick regardless, which can actually make this an insane boss killer when played right 👍

I wanna know if you can stack accuracy on this build for Precise Technique keystone that replaces Windancer.
Precise Technique causes you to deal 40% more Attack damage if your Accuracy Rating is higher than your Maximum Life, but prevents you from dealing critical strikes
Precise Technique doesn't provide any bonuses to ailments unfortunately, so it's pretty much useless for a DOT build. Our hit damage is irrelevant apart from some basic leeching
@@NavandisGaming really? isnt the bleed damage calculated on the base damage of the biggest hit? isn't that why you try to focus on the highest physical damage bow-type and not care too much on the minimum of that range?

Taken this build all the way to maven, just uber left. Lots of changes, but the idea is still the same. I just wanna add that pob must be wrong about the damage with deadly ailments. Using chance to bleed support instead.

Love the build, I've been playing it now since league launch. The leveling so far hasn't been to hard. If you start off with split arrow from the get go. It can be a little rough until you link Chance to bleed and mirage archer. I do have one question about the clusters though. I see once we reach act 10 we start to put them into the sockets. Those large clusters are very expensive and the medium one's are also not cheap. Is there a work around that? or is there cheaper cluster to put in their places until we can afford spending 3+ ex on jewels.
For the average player like me and probably others, the cluster jewels and thread of hope are out of reach for now. I'm in act IX now and what I plan to do is pick up Disciple of Slaughter and Unyielding for the minimum charges and associates bonuses. I know there's a lot of mediocre passives to take on the way there but those two notables are important.
Buy the base for the cluster jewels and then use your harvest reforge phys/ reforge attack until you get decent mods. For the medium clusters you dont really need the exact combo that is shown in the pob, getting something like rend and brewed for potency or any of the other mods is fine for the beginning. Invest your currency into a high flat phys damage bow, that will do a lot more for you than trying to min/max you cluster setup :)
Looks like an fun and awesome build, leveld up as a starter, I can see that it will be alot of fun with all the uniques like the head etc. But in White maps it feels rough.
Boss/Unique mobs dmg is lackluster, regular clear feels ok nothing more.
But what irritates me the most is that the defenseive of this build is really bad. Trying to figure out what da hell is going on.

Played Slayer Phys Cyclone last season and hade around the same armor and that tanked pretty muuch all T16 maps witouth any problems, But here T1-T4 maps kills you.

As it stand right now i have a hard time seeing that i will get any further withouth quiting the game. Looking at levling another char instead...
If you want to instantly get more tanky, then I would try to rush getting Divine flesh, get cheap clusters that give you + max chaos resist. This will give you a lot of damage mitigation from elemental damage, as long as you cap your chaos resists
I gave up on the chaos thing and went a different way. Got %100 spell suppression now. Like 70 evade and 70 prevention. almost 5k health. pretty tanky now, but just the armor wasn't cutting it.
@@gradiu3rox what did you do for spell suppression? I've got a lacerate build the damage is there and I can tank/block any physical damage but get 1 tapped by spells.
it feels like my puncture when i channel it does no dmg or just fumes out with no mana
I never used Assaylon on my BB builds (no needed), i dont like stop 3 seg to shot anything. Some boss figth its means death.

I knew the build can be used as a league starter, I tested it myself as well. The idea was it wouldn't be very smooth or easy for most people, especially the ones that never played a bow build before, let alone a glad bow build. But with the right mindset and strategy the build has no issues quickly getting to the atlas and then smashing through the maps. Really glad you're enjoying it! 😁
@@NavandisGaming reached end game maps and bosses... no sustain and for some reason even with 86% chaos res and divine flesh with 40k armour... still super squishy.. good for normal maps though but bosses not good gonna save up and reroll

Hmm, that's strange, POB must've converted an implicit as an affix when the item was imported (I believe it was before eldritch crafting was introduced and POB didn't read those items properly). Yeah, there's no way to have both eldritch mods and influences on items, so it's either/or. I've updated the POB with a new pair of gloves and the trade link. Unfortunately there's no way to have both sources of phys dot multi, would've been waaaay too broken 😁
On the flip side, it's actually quite easy to go over 50% suppression this way even without trying, so the build is even tankier now 💪

Anyone else absolutely hate how Snipe works? If you charge with your cursor on the target the shot misses 80% of the time. Only if youre in specific angles from the monster you can hit it. I usually just aim at the ground before or after the monster so i can actually hit. So frustrating to charge for so much time and then miss. Am i missing something?
I think that was fixed? I remember reading somewhere about a bug fix for that. Seems better lately.

Plus all the new free bonuses we'll get with eldritch crafting, which should be accessible as early as T1 maps (already saw cold told multi among the mods, very likely we'll get phys dot multi as well 😲)
Question: will adding a corrupting fever setup provide extra damage or will getting the stacks be too difficulty for this build. Also, if I were to get a 6 link bow and replace blink arrow, any suggestions as to what to do with the extra gem 2 slots? Poachers mark with the new mark on hit gem sounds nice
You won't reliably get more than 2-3 stacks of Corrupting Fever mostly because everything will die by then and for bosses you're not really spamming Split Arrow either (just to get the Ensnaring Arrows triggered). With such low number of stacks any 6th support gem would be better than CF.
Indeed, for the "wildcard" 2 sockets I was thinking about poacher's + mark on hit, but you will need to get a body armour with +1 curse. Shouldn't be hard or too expensive as we're not really getting anything crazy on that gear slot anyway 👍
When you start leveling, do you start with a ranger to get split arrow?

hey is there a reason why our clear setup needs to be in the body armor and not the weapon? getting 3 red and 2 blue on any bow seems like a lot more work then a 6L bow up early. later when you have a lot more chrom orbs and the crafts to do the vorici method its easier to to get a really good weapon that isnt linked, i get that. just early seems to be terrible.
otherwhise seems like a good guide, even decent boss damage for a dot build
Not really, it's flexible, but most of the times very good weapons are much more expensive and more often than not they are not linked if the person just crafted for sale. Decent body armours are almost always 6-linked
@@NavandisGaming true, im just thinking strictly about the first few days where you could get a decent 5 or 6 link unique bow (slivertongue 6L was at 14c in the first week of league start in 3.16) but dont have enough chroms and or jewellers

The tree didn't change at all (like not just for this build but for POE as a whole) since then so nothing changes if you just press "Convert to 3.17" - I'll do that and update just to avoid any confusion, but I dread doing it again for all trees in 3.18 for literally no change :<
Also, masteries are there 100% sure, including in the leveling trees because this build was made after they were introduced so there's no way they would be missing. Make sure you have the Community Fork POB if you don't see them 👍

I just updated the POB link now to have the 3.17 trees so it looks cleaner 😁 also took this opportunity to update the gear with Eldritch crafting implicits (mid-tier ones, easily obtainable with cheap currency) and added that info in the pinned comment as well!
We gained quite a bit of DPS from those, especially the body armour implicits + a bit of action speed which should make charging Snipe even smoother 💪
I don't see how you get into either blood- or sand-stance needed for the 4th ascend-pt with this build? Am I missing something here?
All chars in POE are by default in blood stance; you don't need a stance skill for that and we'd never really want to use sand stance 👍

Damage over time multiplier has absolutely nothing to do with critical strike multiplier. They're two completely separate mods.
As for the stances, all POE chars are by default in blood stance and you don't need a stance skill to enable that

By default any character in POE is considered to be in Blood Stance so you don't need to a stance skill to enable that or generate challenger charges

My build is not quite getting up to your DPS, not quite sure what is going wrong. Where are you getting blood/sand stance from without reservation problems?
Are you playing Standard or league? If league, should you realistically expect similar DPS levels less than 3 days into a brand new league and economy? As for the stances, all POE chars are in blood stance by default - follow the aura setups I've outlined and the passive tree and you won't have any reservation issues.

After looking at your POB i noticed that you' re not using any stance aura like flesh & stone or blood & sand. Would you still gain Challenger Charges since they specificly say in the Arena Challenger node that you need a stance to gain a charge?
You wont get Charges without Flesh and Stone
You dont need be use a stance aura because u are in A stance by default, so you will still get them from hitting rare / unique mobs
By default any character in POE is considered to be in Blood Stance so you don't need to a stance skill to enable that or generate challenger charges.

what about using RoA with crimson dance? or is that just copium?
It's very copium, there's no real reason to use ROA if you're not stacking multiple bleed stacks on each enemy (through Crimson Dance). Split Arrow is absolutely superior to RoA for direct, single bleed stack application
You'd need to do corrupting fever I'd think if you wanted to make RoA DoT work. That's an entirely different build though.

Not if you want to kill bosses. If your issue is the channeled nature, nothing you can do there. If it's hitting the boss you can take a hit to your dps and use arrow nova.
@@WesternHypernormalization Its more that it is pretty expensive usually, if there was any recommendation before getting it, like a normal rare with X stats or another unique you know.

There's no straight-forward answer for that as it depends what you have on the rest of the gear and either stat will run into diminishing returns. Best thing is to import your char in POB, set everything right in the config tab and import the bows you're looking to buy. POB should provide a pretty accurate damage breakdown
But they removed curse on hit didn't they ? so how do we apply curse now ?
They only removed Mark on hit from Rings (which you can get from the new support gem), you can still get Vulnerability or other curses on rings or potentially gloves (corrupted implicit).
They removed marks on hit, not curse on hit. Regular hexes (like Vulnerability) can still roll just as before
Would it be better to level through acts with Steel skills?
You can totally go that route but I actually think Split Arrow is a decent leveling skill as long as you're doing your best to upgrade your weapon often enough. Which would be necessary for steel skills as well, it's just a different type of weapon 😁

I've been test running this build early act 1 in standard and I gotta say it feels very rough. If you're gonna level with split arrow and puncture you need some luck with drops, specifically some 3 links with 2x green 1x red early to even have a chance. But honestly I think leveling with splitting steel at least for the first few acts and leveling the bow gems in off hand is gonna be a lot faster.
I'm gonna run it for league start, but everyone who goes for this should be prepared and aware that this is not gonna be a quick start to the league. I doubt the bow buffs, significant as they are, will do much for the first act or so.
Thanks for the build! Doesn't feel too bad so far at league start. Just noticed that PoB has been updated for 3.17 and there are some warnings appearing now. Is there any chance this could be updated for the new PoB version, or is it safe to ignore the warnings? Thank you!

Single target dps is better with deadeye, but you are less tanky and have less clear speed.
I've tested both and deadeye is way better, glad ascendency is not really good and deadeye have more boss dps same map dps and better protection against OS
@@cedricgouband2836 but you will need to get accuracy and a lot of crit with everything already needed, which is way harder, especially on league start

@@a2daj83 Deadeye mapping is enough for T16 but Glad bossing is not really good and in the new league with new bosses it could be better to swap to deadeye

Can someone tell me the reason why we pick "Arena Challenger"? How can i aquire challenger charges if there is no blood and sand skill being used in this build? Or is there another way to get these charges? i'm noob

In pob you have herald of purity but in the video you use flesh and stone to get the challenger charges.
Did you try to make dps seem better than in reality or you just forgot to change it?
You don't need flesh and stone for challenger charges, all chars are by default in blood stance. I constantly update the POB after a guide is released to further min-max it and get the best out of each build, especially after major patches go live; swapping F&S for HoP was one such change.
Now, as a reward for this extra time and effort I put in I get people like you accusing me of trying to skew numbers, so I guess it is true that no good deed goes unpunished 👍

last time i played bleed bow was in delirium league. And i have not played with assailum helmet but i remember doing sirus 8 without any problem just simple puncture gameplay. Does puncture get nerf or smth? why people use this silly helmet? it makes u slow and dmg is pretty same atleast thats what i notice in this video for example 1:08 (crusader fight) i used to kill him in around 5-15sec on A8
3.15 nerfed bleed bows massively.
silly helmet? in 3.13 league I needed about 1-2 seconds to kill conquerors on A9

Yes it did, the weapon bases got a pretty substantial buff which is the most important component of bleed damage. Then there's also the eldritch crafting, but that's a net buff to literally all the builds in the game

with the new jewel that gives you a mastery from another ascendancy you could get the rupture from deadeye which gives you 25% more dmg with bleeds and bleeds deal dmg 25% faster. Rupture can be stacked 3 times so you could get idiotic amounts of dmg so you might be able to still be meta... jewels might cost a mirror each tho :D
Wont work. You can get a mastery from another ascendancy but only from the same baseclass. So the Gladiator could get the Skills from Slayer or Champion
why war banner?
Why not war banner? It increases the physical damage taken by enemies - bleeds deal physical damage.

To be honest, i see no reason why this cant be used as a leque starter. Yes it wont be as fast as a minion build orso. But whit the lvling guide you will deffently hit maps decently fast. After that get the core upgrades, helm,quiver,jewels and ready to rumbell after that sky is the limet whit currency. Just missing the none jewel setup.. but solid build love it!
It can be done and I've done it as a test as well, but it's not easy and requires decent POE knowledge and experience

Demonic Set, minus the helmet which was Breach Core Alternate + Delve Core Azurite gloves; Imperial Sun weapon + First Blood weapon effect. Also used Sunrise Blood & Sand effect for B&S (test that instead of Herald of Purity for a while).
Apart from that, Stygian Puncture and Demonic Split Arrow effects + Celestial Warcry
POB says its 98 Int Requirement while build has 94 only...
guys don't get jebaited with this build is not viable in 3.17 its pure shit with no damage and defense.
