I really enjoy seeing how you modify the family meal for each member. My son is nearly 30. I wish I had been 100% plant-based when he was growing up. These videos help vegan parents of young children to combat the accusations of "you're starving your child".
This was a nice family WIEIAD. I like that Bean will eat the mushrooms that Eddie doesn’t want. Bean’s little song was so cute.😊. You make a good variety of delicious meals.❤
Legume/ quinoa pasta are great way to sneak in plant based protein and iron for my daughter. I also sprinkle a generous amount of hemp hearts in scrambled tofu, smoothies, muffins, pasta, everything! Chia jam and pudding are my go to as well. Love to connect with another plant based mom there aint many of us in where i live
I really liked the idea of mixing the tofu with just egg for a scrambled egg alternative. I think I will try this soon :)

I'm convinced that shallots are the ultimate grandma secret. My friends Dominican grandma used them in her beans.
Even my own family couldn't figure out why they couldn't replicate my grandma's pasta sauce recipe. I recommend they use shallot instead of whatever onion they were using. It ended up being the secret to a great pasta sauce 😂

I had a childhood friend that was allergic to alcohol as well (found out when older of course) . I think it might be more common than we know, but i think some people are just pushing through the discomfort.

The liquid thing is so interesting! I have the opposite issue where I drink an extreme amount of water (mostly at mealtimes) because my body is just like PLEASE WE ARE DYING when I am very not dying. I've never been able to figure it out.
I haven't had tofu scramble for ages. Yum! 💜

I don’t speak as much as I should, mostly because I kinda feel weird speaking Viet around the people I live with who wouldn’t understand it😅 i would love Bean to be bilingual though

Living in Mississippi the Vegan yolk is almost $15 I for a second was like F this give me an egg ( I didn’t) the prices are crazy & with my daughter new terminal diagnosis & her eating more vegan meals I will try all your saving tips especially stretching with tofu.
What is the liver disease that you have called? I have the same symptoms when i have alcohol

I was friends with a Korean guy about 30 years ago that didn’t drink. He told me a lot of Asian people were allergic to alcohol? I’ll have to look that up? I never questioned him.
It is true! They become red when they drink.
I’m doing much better since cutting out high oxalate foods, spinach is the worst.
I would rather see everyone's faces if you don't mind. It makes it more interesting. Instead of using Just Egg in tofu scramble, I sometimes add things like nutritional yeast and tahini. That makes it rich and creamy and costs less and is more natural. Also, you can grate potato and fry it like hash browns instead of buying patties to reheat. It isn't that much more work, but it is fresher and better.
Sorry I do mind! We don’t show Bean’s face and Eddie doesn’t always want to be on camera. Grating and frying potatoes while also making the other components of breakfast is significantly more work than putting patties in the oven lol
I wish vegans would stop forcing their child to be vegan too
